Scent is a personal thing, but to me this stuff smells fantastic. The tube it comes in is a good size for travel and keeps the cream more fresh than the big bowls they sell, albeit at a higher unit cost. Also, I notice that when I go back to using other shaving cream brands I get more razor nicks (I use a DE razor). It foams up great if you use a brush, but it also works great without a brush which is nice when traveling.
This is the best shave cream/balm on the market by far. Once you use this you will use no other.
Trufitt and Hill Sandalwood Shaving Cream builds to an exceptional lather and is extremely slick and smooth while shaving. Most notable is that it takes very little from the tube to create more than enough lather for a three pass shave. The sandal wood scent is subtle and not overpowering. This is my go-to shaving cream from now on.
Started off using way too much. Only needs a little to get my whole head and face. And talk about smooth, it does much better than most everything else I've tried plus it has an excellent scent.
I was recently told about Truefitt & Hill products. Since then, I have purchased multiple items including creams, aftershaves, cologne, face wash, and moisturizer. They are all of the highest quality and I am truly impressed with their products. I cannot say enough good things about their shaving creams! And then to find this in a travel tube absolutely made my day. Do your face a favor and get the T&H shaving cream, you won't be disappointed. Personally, I like the Sandalwood and 1805 scents, but they have a great variety for all walks of life.

I’m very impressed by the quality and scent of this brand as a whole. This shaving cream works really well and lathers up very quickly. It doesn’t take much to get a good amount going and in my opinion is worth the price.
The product is amazing. I originally purchased this in London over ten years ago. When I found it in a drawer and tried it it was still good I am amazed that a small tab is a bough to lather my face. With that the value is excellent
I always liked the smell and lather of T&H sandalwood. I tried many brands and creams and this is my favorite.

I've been using this shaving cream for several years and really like it. It gives a really smooth, gentle shave with my razor and a little goes a very long way. I bought this tube because I loaned mine to my son and he really liked it for his sensitive skin. It's also conveniently under the maximum travel size, so no TSA issues bringing it along on trips.

Used this brand/scent for a few years; great for straight razor. Now that we live in the boonies Amazon is the only source within a 5 hour drive. Perfect travel size for TSA.
Smells great and works very well
I’ve tried over three dozen shaving products from foams to creams to pucks. This one leads the field. A quarter inch dab produces oodles of luxurious lather making this an actually economical product despite initial layout. The blade glides over the face with no drag or discomfort leaving only smooth in its wake.
I'm still trying out this cream. will write the results later.
I am a wet shaver, and a big Truefitt & Hill fan. I typically use "Grafton," but I decided to make a change. It's good cream, just not excellent. The scent is ok, and the cream isn't nearly as slick as it should be. It's a good thing I bought the travel tube, and didn't spend a lot of money. I've already placed my order for Grafton.
The scent is not too strong, but holds on your skin for awhile. Lathers well with a brush. What I wasn't impressed with is the inability of this cream to provide lubrication, once whipped into foam. If I just slather it up on my skin - it works just fine. I whip it into foam, and once it is on my face, I have may be 30 seconds before it turns into nothing.
This cream does a decent job on the shave, but the scent was too harsh for me. I found the scent on this to be a bit off-putting; smells a bit medicinal and I don't like it so much. I prefer the sandalwood scented shaving cream from TOBS much better.
The cream is rich and gives a very smooth shave; however, the fragrance is much more floral than any other sandalwood shave cream or soap I have ever used. I do not care for the fragrance as it is too strongly floral relative to my preference.
Expensive, but nothing special about! I don't recommend it. I did notice any sandalwood smell!
