Slakona
These terms apply to the slakona.com online shop. Please read them before placing an order.
slakona.com is operated, and goods are sold, by Amarina SIA, registration No. 40103973212, VAT No. LV40103973212, registered address Ulmaņa parks 2, "B" ieeja, 3. stāvs, Kalniņi, Mārupe, Mārupes novads, LV-2167, Latvija (the "Seller").
Contact: info@slakona.com, phone +371 66118778 (working days 10:00–17:00), WhatsApp +371 25155038.
These terms govern the use of slakona.com and the purchase of goods through it. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept them.
Where the buyer is a consumer — a natural person buying for purposes outside their trade or profession — the purchase is a distance contract, and the consumer has every right granted by the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law and by Cabinet Regulation No. 255 of 20 May 2014 ("Regulations on the distance contract"). Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Orders may be placed by a person with legal capacity. A person aged 14 to 18 may order with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Details can be corrected before confirmation by returning to the previous step. The contract is concluded when the Seller has accepted the order and sent a confirmation to the email address given.
If an ordered item is unavailable, the Seller will say so and either offer an equivalent item or cancel the order and refund the amount paid.
The contract may be concluded in Latvian, Russian or English. Order data is stored in the Seller's system; a copy can be requested at info@slakona.com.
Prices are in euro (EUR) and include value added tax. Delivery is not included in the price — it is calculated and shown before you confirm the order.
The price applied is the one in force when the order is placed. The Seller may change prices and offers, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
If a price or product description contains an obvious error, the Seller will contact you and offer either to fulfil the order at the correct price or to cancel it and refund the amount paid.
Payment is accepted by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and by wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link). Which methods appear depends on your device and bank.
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. The Seller neither receives nor stores card details.
The amount is taken when the order is confirmed. If an order is cancelled, the amount paid is refunded to the same payment method.
Delivery methods, charges, timescales and the countries served are set out under Delivery and Payment.
A consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The procedure, the exceptions and the withdrawal form are under Returns and Withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return once unsealed for reasons of health protection or hygiene. Most of this catalogue is cosmetics and hygiene products, so this exception matters here.
Goods are covered by the conformity regime of the Consumer Rights Protection Law. A consumer may raise a claim of non-conformity within two years of receiving the goods.
Cosmetic products carry a minimum durability date or a period-after-opening symbol on the packaging. A claim does not cover normal wear, or damage caused by incorrect use or storage.
Claims should be sent in writing to info@slakona.com with proof of purchase and a description of the fault. We reply within 15 working days.
Product images are illustrative. Small differences in colour or packaging that do not change the nature of the product are not a defect. Manufacturers may change packaging without notice.
Descriptions and ingredient lists are supplied by our suppliers. Always read the information on the product packaging before use — that is the authoritative version.
The Seller is not liable for failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure). In that case the Seller will inform you and agree either a new timescale or cancellation.
How personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy, and cookie use in the Cookie Policy.
If you have a question or a complaint, please write to info@slakona.com first. We answer a consumer's written claim within 15 working days.
If no agreement is reached, a consumer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Brīvības iela 55, Rīga, LV-1010, pasts@ptac.gov.lv, www.ptac.gov.lv) or apply to the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission.
The contract is governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes not settled by agreement are heard by the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
The Seller may amend these terms. An order is governed by the terms in force when it was placed. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the foot of it.
