AQUAPHOR Crystal HA Water Filter System
Brief description
AQUAPHOR Crystal HA is a three-stage water filtration and softening system designed for municipally treated tap water that contains visible mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, silt, and elevated turbidity. By combining mechanical filtration, carbon sorption, and ion-exchange softening in a single unit, the system provides thorough water treatment suitable for everyday household use.
Mechanical filtration of particles down to 5 microns at the first stage, fine filtration down to 0.8 microns at the second stage, effective reduction of active chlorine, heavy metals including lead, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and microplastics, water softening via ion-exchange resin, suitability for moderately hard water where limescale appears within 10 to 14 days, regeneration of the softening cartridge using common salt
The system operates with three cartridges working in sequence. The first-stage K5 polypropylene cartridge captures larger suspended particles and protects the downstream cartridge, extending its service life. The second-stage K7 carbon cartridge is built on CarbFiber Block technology and combines finely divided activated carbon derived from coconut shell with Aquaphor's patented microfiber sorbent and ion-exchange microfiber. The dense block structure allows it to effectively remove chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, microplastics, and a wide range of other contaminants typical of urban water supplies. The third-stage KH softening cartridge contains ion-exchange resin and can be regenerated several times using salt. The K5 cartridge should be replaced every 3 to 6 months depending on water turbidity levels, while the remaining cartridges require replacement at least once a year. In cases of emergency pollutant discharge into the water supply, earlier replacement is advised. For water with very high mineral content, a reverse osmosis system is the r
