Aquaphor Pro HF Replacement Filter Cartridge

AQUAPHOR Pro HF Replacement Filter Cartridge

Brief description
The AQUAPHOR Pro HF is a replacement filter cartridge designed for use in compatible Aquaphor water filtration systems. It features a two-stage design that combines mechanical filtration through hollow fiber membrane technology with a fine sorption section for chemical purification. Together, these two stages deliver comprehensive water treatment, addressing both particulate and dissolved contaminants found in tap water.

The cartridge is constructed from two distinct functional components, each targeting a different category of impurities. The first component is a dense hollow fiber membrane that acts as a mechanical barrier with micropores, capable of filtering out microparticles larger than 0.1 microns in size. This level of filtration provides reliable protection against chlorine-resistant bacteria and cysts that may be present in tap water, and it achieves this without relying on any chemical bactericides. The membrane physically blocks these microorganisms, making it a purely mechanical means of biological protection. The second component is a sorption section responsible for fine filtration of dissolved substances. This part of the cartridge removes active chlorine, heavy metals, organic compounds, and trace amounts of toxins and allergens from the water. The combination of both filtration stages results in water that is cleared of both suspended particles and chemically dissolved impurities. As a consumable element, the cartridge requires periodic replacement to maintain optimal filtration performance in the system.

Install the cartridge into a compatible Aquaphor filtration system following the instructions provided with the specific filter model. Replace the cartridge within the timeframes recommended by the manufacturer to ensure continued filtration effectiveness.
