It is compatible with models FX825E and FX8700 and also fits two-hole blade mounting systems. The graphite construction gives the blade an ultra-low friction coefficient, which results in noticeably quieter operation compared to standard steel blades. The material also keeps blade temperature lower during use, reducing the risk of overheating during extended cutting sessions. The half-moon-shaped cutting edge is engineered to replicate a natural back-and-forth motion, enabling accurate and consistent results across a variety of hair types and techniques. The blade is highly durable and built to withstand the demands of professional, high-frequency use. At 45mm wide, it is well suited to general barbering work, precise outlines, tapers, and seamless gradient blending.
To replace the blade, first turn off the clipper and move the fine adjustment lever to the highest position. Using a screwdriver, remove and set aside the fixing screws. Carefully lift the movable blade away from the oscillator and position the new movable blade in its place. Next, fit the fixed blade, ensuring the movable blade is centred and sitting parallel to the fixed blade to prevent any risk of injury. Finally, tighten the screws securely. For best results and extended blade life, regular cleaning and lubrication with BaByliss PRO 4in1 SprayFX is recommended both before and during use.
