However, after much research, the experts at The Shave Shop have come up with a great alternative and developed a synthetic fibre with incredibly soft tips that is suitable for those with sensitive skin, whilst replicating the brush properties needed for a simply superb shave.
Immerse the shaving brush in warm water and shake off the excess. Dip the brush into the shaving soap and use circular motions to create a rich, warm, creamy lather and apply to the beard area. Proceed to shave. After use, rinse the shaving brush thoroughly in warm water and leave to dry completely.

The brush lathers like a dream but the finish /stain began coming.off of the wood handle after three uses. Made.in China, so I'm not surprised. It's a good brush but not worth $40 based on the finished quality.
