Purchased directly from comfort zone via Amazon Prime- No third party seller. Mine just arrived and I’m debating returning it. It arrived without any box or packaging or seal so I have no idea if it’s new and safe to use. I sampled this through my Birchbox subscription and loved it but I’m not sure if this is safe to use. It just had a package of samples and a loose instruction pamphlet.
Love this product. In addition to the skin care, it’s one of the best makeup primers I’ve ever used.
I adore this “fluid” (I.e. primer), which essentially it is. I got a sample through Ipsy and even though it is expensive, it does mattify skin and my makeup for a more natural appearance. It also keeps makeup well in place all day, say if you forget to spray on a setting product. Just get it; it’s awesome. My only gripe is that the tube is relatively small for the price. A little product (maybe 2 pumps) goes a long way, though.
I initially received this from Birchbox and liked it enough to buy again. Amazon's price is cheaper than Birchbox's price, but I was able to find it on Walmart.com for $34.99 with free shipping. I have sensitive combination skin, but tend to be more oily than dry in the Summer time. This product is excellent for mattifying my skin and controlling oil throughout the day, but it's not the best moisturizer for dry areas, so it helps to apply another moisturizer over any dry spots. I haven't used this in Winter yet, but I expect it may not be hydrating enough for dry Winter air.
This is the best product. My skin has never looked better and I know that this is the key because when I ran out my skin looked terrible again. I just wish the cost was a bit less so that I could continue using this product.
Small sample from a beauty box that took me by surprise. It was very hydrating and I loved how it made my skin feel, especially when I used it at night. I couldn't stop touching my skin when I woke up. On the down side, I didn't think this was as mattifying as most claim it to be. The hydrating component won me over nonetheless.

hopefully it's only ONE tube! i had been using this on & off for years. especially on hotter days, as it's oil free & goes on & stays on lightweight. i was getting it from other websites, etc. for a while for cheaper prices, as this product is SO overpriced!! way overpriced! you're getting these little, teeny tubes of an ounce or 1/2 on ounce, you're lucky to get an entire ounce of ANYTHING from "comfort zone" for under $60-70 or MORE!! that company is REALLY RAKING IN THE MONEY!! no joke. ahh, the skin care/makeup/beauty industry. all billionaires or close to it. we will try ANYTHING it seems for beauty. at least the appearance of it, the thought of it, the feel of it. we will even IMAGINE results that aren't there as we are seduced in by the never-ending search for youth & beauty. i know, i've dedicated more than half my life & career for it (as an Esthetician, Makeup Artist (even in the film industry, etc. & Cosmetologist), but i have studied it & been in love w/it cuz i find it fascinating & also to make people FEEL BETTER!! look better/feel better, right? that makes ME feel good & happy & accomplished. anyway, back to the product (yes amazon it IS moisturizing! in response to their review suggestions :P) at least it claims to be moisturizing & feels like it is, until it "soaks in" anyway. who knows after that? or at all. but i did like it. it's hard for me to moisturize my face when it's warm out at all, especially hot out. it feels like ALL moisturizers, body included, blocks my pores & then it makes me sweaty & itchy. plus, i've always run hot, my whole life & have fine pored, sensitive skin. sorry, let me cut to the chase here & it's a good, important chase! my last tube, (i purchased the last couple from amazon, as it's hard to find AND super pricey, so i subscribed & saved it). i was using it every day at this point & the tube got to the place where the little pump that it comes out of no longer pumps it out, so i pulled off the top to get to the product & guess what?? i could now SEE the product & it was thoroughly DISGUSTING!!! OMG, i shudder even now to think of it. u could see a bit of the product & it's regular color, which is whitish. along w/that there was a TON of black grossness. it looked like MOTOR OIL!! i'm not kidding or exaggerating here. it looked like DIRTY BLACK USED MOTOR OIL! what the heck comfort zone? did someone mess w/this tube? did the product turn? it wasn't old enough to be expired, nor was there an expiration date, nor have i EVER SEEN SOMETHING look like this in my entire life in ANY skin care product. not once. even things that DID expire. nope. nope. at first i was thoroughly disgusted & wondering how many applications of this nastiness i had put onto my skin unknowingly and WHAT the heck is it that i've BEEN putting on my face, neck & decolletage for God knows how long? ewwwww! then i was mad thinking that i had spent $60 PLUS on this & prior tubes (that i hadn't looked into!). i can't imagine that this was on ongoing thing or every tube they put out, but who knows? u put something on ur face, u blend it in, ur generally NOT looking in a mirror when u put moisturizer (or other skin care products) on it, least i'm not. i'm just putting it on by feel. and something like motor oil or some greasy black gunk would be soaked into ur skin & not show evidence? or ur getting a small enough amount w/each application, same thing? moving on...i called amazon, as i had purchased it from them. if u have a problem w/a purchase, u contact the seller. right? right. btw: below - i am NOT talking smack about amazon here, i LOVE amazon. i am talking TRUTH about a poor representative who didn't treat me well OR fairly, capisce? ok good, want to make that info clear. :) the service person i spoke with told me they would NOT refund me OR even replace it. i offered to take pics & send them to her, nope, she had decided the moment i told her what was up that she was NOT going to accommodate me in any way. it was in her voice & manner from moment 1. she told me i should contact the company that MADE the product, i said that's a nice idea, however, i did NOT purchase it from them, so they would have no culpability in the matter. yes, they made it, but U sold it to me. that's like taking my new Mercedes to BMW & telling them they have to fix it. nope, not gonna happen. so, i just had to eat it, so to speak. no reparation made to me whatsoever, not even a "sorry about that". she was not a nice, friendly or helpful customer service rep, no she wasn't. i saved her name, but this was months ago & i'm not going to list it here, but she should NOT be in customer service, that's for darn sure. that's my current experience with this product. oh, i saved the tube on my date book, next to my work laptop desk & as i was speaking w/her, i reopened the lid/cap thingy to remind myself of how bad it looked & then there was some extra orange goo in there. what the heck? was it turning into an alien? into the devil's creamsicle? haha. so, buyer beware, I'm just saying. :)
I have a subscription to this product and didn't open my last shipment until recently. Until now, the cream has been consistent. Now, it's watery and even when I shook it thinking the chemicals just needed to mix again, it feels significantly thinner than it's predecessors. Have to look for a new product now. Vastly disappointed in the decrease in quality. It's $50 per tube, so this is not worth it anymore.
