Make sure you save the box because the container is oval with no flat part to stand it on.
The short version of this review is that it's a nice feeling sunscreen in a strange shaped bottle. For some unknown reason they decided that oval with no flat part to stand the bottle on was a good idea. We were very pleased with it and would likely order again. We are big sunscreen users and try to always use ones with no harmful ingredients. I took the ingredient list and fed it into an automated system to check them. From the english version of their website, the ingredient list is: Dibutyl adipate, Propanediol, Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Ethylhexyl triazone, Niacinamide, Methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, Coco-caprylate/caprate, Caprylyl methicone, Diethylhexyl butamido triazone, Glycerin, Butylene glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Camellia sinensis leaf extract, Centella asiatica extract, Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf extract, Houttuynia cordata extract, Eucalyptus globulus leaf extract, Pentylene glycol, Behenyl alcohol, Poly C10-30 alkyl acrylate, Polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, Decyl glucoside, Tromethamine, Carbomer, Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, Sodium stearoyl glutamate, Polyacrylate crosspolymer-6, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Xanthan gum, t-Butyl alcohol, Tocopherol. I then checked for anything that was dangerous/harmful and received the following response - Based on the list of ingredients you provided, none of them appear to be harmful or dangerous to health. DIBUTYL ADIPATE, PROPANEDIOL, and POLYMETHYLSILSESQUIOXANE are all commonly used in cosmetic and personal care products, and have been deemed safe for use by regulatory agencies such as the FDA and the EU. DIETHYLAMINO HYDROXYBENZOYL HEXYL BENZOATE and METHYLENE BIS-BENZOTRIAZOLYL TETRAMETHYLBUTYLPHENOL are both chemical UV filters used in sunscreen formulations. They have been thoroughly tested and found to be safe for use in sunscreens. NIACINAMIDE is a form of vitamin B3 and has been shown to have many benefits for the skin, including improving skin tone, reducing inflammation, and enhancing the skin barrier function. The remaining ingredients on the list are all commonly used in skincare and personal care products, and are considered safe for use at the concentrations typically used in these products. Overall because the ingredients appear safe, the suncream (sunscreen) feels nice going on and absorbs well, and other than the oval shaped container we were happy with how it dispensed, we give it a 5-star review and do recommend it.

Full ingredient list below! A lovely unscented sun cream!
I've heard so many positive things about Korean beauty products so when this lovely sunscreen popped up I jumped at the chance to try it because I don't like putting typical thick greasy body sunscreen on my face. The little egg container is cute as a button and arrived in a sealed box! The egg fits nicely in the palm of my hand and it's easy to toss into a bag. It's a screw top that closes with a sharp click so the cap should be secure and not come loose. The rigid, but flexible plastic egg won't get squished in your bag either. The small 1.69 oz. size is perfect for carry-on luggage. Since I typically can't use up a large bottle of sunscreen over the summer months this size is just right for me. I've wasted so much sunscreen over the years because the larger size containers expire and go bad before I can use them all. I squeezed out a little bit to test on my wrist. There's no detectable scent. It feels good. It's light, not thick and heavy. Absorbs quickly without a white residue, and is moisturizing which is everything I want in a facial sunscreen. It's been cloudy and rainy so I can't yet test its effectiveness as a sunscreen, but I'm ready whenever the sun decides to make an appearance! The ingredient list is in Korean so I can't read it, but with a quick internet search I found a couple of lists of ingredients for this product. The ingredients are listed below, however, they should be included here in the product listing and a printed English version should be included with the product. Hamel Vegan Relief Water Essence Sun Cream ingredients: Purified Water, Dibutyl Adipate, Propanediol, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Niacinamide, Methylene bis-benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Caprylyl Methicone, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Behenyl Alcohol, Poly C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Decyl Glucoside, Tromethamine, Carbomer, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Xanthan Gum, T-butyl Alcohol, Tocopherol.

Perfect for travel!
I stuck this in my vacation bag and was pleased with how small and compact it was! The bottle is an oval shape that fits perfect in the palm of my hand. The lotion itself is very light and unscented. It did not leave my skin feeling greasy at all. No breakout or rash. It does have a white color to it that takes a lot of rubbing in to blend, but otherwise, I have no complaints! It did what it needed to do!

Nice enough
Goes on smoothly - not greasy or overly thick. No white sheen but I will also say I wish there was an English ingredient list. I was easily able to look them up online, but, I would like to see them printed on the box or with an insert. Overall, I liked this sunscreen - no cast, non greasy, and it felt like my skin was moisturized. I didn't have that instant feeling like I wanted to wash it off, like I do with MANY facial use sunscreens.

Only ok
This is a light sunscreen that did work, I did not get sunburned but after several days of using it I felt it was drying out my face. It is unscented which I like. I will continue to use it but I might switch my sunscreen every few days. I do think is is pricey for the size bottle.

Very nice quality!
Goes on thin and smooth No residue. No white sheen. Absorbs nicely into the skin and makes it beautifully moist. I like the portability of the packaging, and the cap stays on super tight.

Amazing
It doesn't feel heavy in my skin. I love the size I can take my sunscreen anywhere I go. If you are looking for a light weight face sunscreen this is a good option.

Great travel sized sunscreen. It leaves your skin soft and provides great coverage. So far it seems to work well and last awhile.

So happy I found this sunscreen!
This is exactly the sunscreen I was hoping to find. Offers great sun protection without the oily sticky residue most sunscreens leave on the skin.

Nice sunscreen, weird bottle
I love Asian sunscreens. They're always morecomestically element than American ones. This one is no exception. It's light weight, doesn't leave a white cast, it's moisturizing and it absorbs nicely. I love that it's reef safe. The bottle doesn't stand up on its own but it is cute to throw in your purse! It's just annoying in my cosmetics drawer. $15 for a small bottle is okay, my normal sunscreen is cheaper. But this is a fantastic option.

Really light and comfortable
This sun cream is super light weight on my face and it doesn't feel super oily at all. My main issue Korean sun creams is that they have super bad white cast and don't work well with my foundation or concealer. Surprisingly this one was super easy to put makeup over and it had zero white cast for me. I'm not a super dark shade but usually white cast is pretty visible on me but this had none. The bottle is a little odd shaped but it seems it would work well in a purse or something rather than just on my counter, especially with the size it seems like it would be best for on the go. Overall the sun cream is super light and has to be one of my favorites thus far.

Unscented, absorbs well, packaging not so great
I like that its 50 spf, it absorbs nicely into my skin, not at all oily. I find it moisturizes my skin a little but compared to another brand it left my skin feeling slightly tight. (not bad, just not great either). The packaging is not great as the bottle it pretty hard plastic and not very squeezable. It's only 1.69 oz for $15.00 at the time of this review. I think that's probably pretty average for good sunscreen. The best thing about this sunscreen is it's unscented. The ingredient list should be in English. Bottom line: terrible package, ingredients should be in English, absorbs well, not heavy, not scented.

Works well
I didn't notice a scent to the product. The sunscreen had an odd shaped bottle but as long as I get all the product out of it, it doesn't really bother me. The sunscreen had a bit of a tint but it was mostly white. It rubbed in easily but it did leave a slightly white sheen to my skin but not like a super apparent white cast.

Perfect for travel
I've been using the Hamel SPF50 sun cream, and it's impressively lightweight, offers excellent sun protection, and doesn't leave any white cast on my skin. It's a great fit for my oily skin type. The compact oval shape makes it easy to carry in my purse, especially for quick touch-ups and during travel.

Lightweight moisturizing sunscreen
This cream is pretty lightweight and thin. It goes on smoothly and doesn't leave a white sheen or greasy residue on the skin. It is pretty hydrating while providing SPF50 sun protection. I like that it has little to no scent to it, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. This comes in a fatten egg-shaped plastic bottle that is more aesthetic than practical. It isn't stable even lying on the flatten side. Pretty compact, convenient and portable though. Overall, this is a pretty nice sunscreen with a light moisturizing effect. Made in Korea.

Nice product, terrible packaging
The sunscreen moisturizer itself is a nice product. It’s hydrating and gives you a glow without looking oily. It’s unscented and doesn’t give a white cast. The best thing about it is that I don’t breakout from this and I tend to do that with many sunscreens for the face. The only thing about this that I don’t like is the packaging. It’s a weird flattened egg shape that is not able to be put with the rest of my skin care products because it can’t stand upright. This design also makes it difficult to dispense the product when it starts to get empty. You can’t stand it upright or upside down on its own and I’ll have to probably use a hairspray cap to create something.
