I actually like the smell and texture. It feels more like skin care than makeup and wears well, however it’s very very light coverage. This is coming from someone who doesn’t like foundation. I like light, natural coverage, but do wish this had a LITTLE more. I don’t know if I’ll buy again because it almost feels pointless as an everyday makeup substitute.
I always wanted to try an expensive face foundation. This one is very watery, not a good skin color match, and has poor coverage. I’m staying with IT Illumination CC coverage with 50 SPF!
This BB cream blends seamlessly and provides an even, luminous finish. It seems to strike the perfect balance between a slightly dewy finish and a somewhat matte finish (my skin doesn't look dry, nor does it look shiny). I think I can even get away with skipping my blotting powder. I particularly love the natural ingredients!
This BB cream feels great on my skin. Left my dry skin feeling hydrated, lasted a long time and it did provide some light coverage so for days when I don’t want a full face of makeup, I’ll be using this.
My wife loves the feel of this BB cream (i had to look this up, so for the uninitiated, the "BB" stands for either "blemish balm" or "beauty balm" - a concept which originated in Germany, but exploded in S. Korea before spreading to the rest of the world). It's very light, which makes it surprising that some reviewers mentioned it being thick like paste. She finds it absorbs and dries quickly without any oily or chalky residue. She also enjoys the scent and the "cream" shade, which matches her light Northern European skin tone nicely. Additionally, she appreciates the quality ingredients used in this product. Despite the odd discrepancy with other reviews, my wife's experience has been entirely positive, smoothing of skin tones, and nice to use. The cream provides a smooth application, dries quickly, and offers a comfortable feel on her skin. The fact that it matches her skin tone so well is a bonus, and the light texture is perfect for her needs. Overall, she's delighted with this BB cream and its nourishing, lightweight formula. If you're looking for a BB cream that feels great and has great ingredients, this one might be worth trying.
I got prickly pear and it appears darker in person than the pics online, however eventually it rubs in and seems to match the skin tone. I really like that it's light weight and that it's vegan and has skin benefits. Definitely feels like quality cover up, I'll have to try another color maybe to get a better match. There is a smell to it, I can't tell what it is but it isn't a bad smell. Overall like it alot.
I don't like to wear a lot of makeup. In fact, I prefer to look like I don't have any on, but I can't go without any makeup because this leaves some of my obvious skin problems showing. This cream can be used as a light foundation or just as a concealer, which is what I am using it. This works really well to conceal light freckles, age spots, and other skin tone problems without looking like I have makeup on. It is a cream, and as long as you don't apply too much, it goes on as a very thin layer that does not look obvious like some of the waxy makeup products do. I have had no bad reactions to this - no rashes, no itchiness, no redness. I am very pleased with how well this works, and I like that it comes in a small bottle with a pump dispenser since it is very easy to get the small amount I need.
I got good coverage with this product. It is very lightweight and dries to a smooth texture. The bottle is travel friendly, size and design. Pair with a cream blush for a smooth glowing finish.
Gives my face a natural look with great smoothness. It doesn't go on thick and leaves my face feeling moisturized.
I really like the results this BB cream gives. It seriously makes my skin look perfect and the color is dead-on. But... It smells a little funky. I get that it's organic, but that doesn't mean that it has to smell weird. I used to work for Aveda back in the day. I can't speak to their company now, but back then, their makeup line was new and they said their makeup was all natural and it didn't;t smell strange. All that being said, I'm totally okay with getting past the smell because the result I get from this product is that good. The product has a thick, mousse-like consistency which is nice, and you don't need to use a lot. The product glides over my skin and blends easily. For reference, I usually use MAC NW 20. Totally recommended iff you can get past a funky smell. ~Amy
This formula is too dry with my skin. I like a moist looking finish to my makeup especially now that I am older. Also, I am not sure which product is the culprit, but when I try to use it with my “clean “ zinc based moisturiser, it balls up. Back to the drawing board for me.
