Controls my frizz really well
This frizz control cream is great if your hair gets puffy, frizzy, or hard to define, especially in humidity. It has a smooth, lightweight texture that spreads easily through damp hair without feeling sticky or heavy. I like that it helps bring out some shape in my waves and curls while still keeping everything soft instead of crunchy. A little really does go a long way. Once it dries, my hair looks more controlled and less frizzy, but still natural and touchable. It’s an easy step to add after washing if you just want your hair to behave a little better without doing a full styling routine.

This Really Works!!!
LAKME's frizz control cream is pretty amazing. It is advertised for curly hair, but it has worked a surprising miracle on my long, thin ageing hair by creating an incredible amount of softness, and really taming the frizzy lengths and split ends. I find my hair often frizzes due to the high humidity which is always an issue in warmer climates. And, I especially appreciate that it has no fragrance to it; it works very smoothly with my other hair products, too. Another feature that I find incredible is that you need such a tiny amount. I used approximately 1/2 teaspoon and I was able to smooth the thick cream completely down the length of my hair. Most with long hair end up using much more of a product, but this cream will be the exception. I can highly recommend this, and I am so impressed that I'll be purchasing more of this product line.

Modest impact on frizz but much softer hair
I set my hair to dry straight and let it do its thing since it wasn't a humid day. It dried frizzy, which is normal for me. I added some of this frizz control cream, and it took about 10-15 minutes to visibly absorb. It did tame the frizz a little bit, but left it with a softer feel. Many of the other reviews mention a lack of scent, but there is definitely a scent to this that lingers hours later. It's not overwhelming, but it is there and you will catch whiffs of it. It smells like another product I've used in the past but I cannot place the other product. It's sort of a creamy, cocoa-butter-ish smell but cleaner? I'm bad with describing scents, so please pardon my ineptitude. While it was well-sealed and didn't arrive with any leaks, it took me a minute to get that seal off of the end. If you are someone who struggles with fine motor skills, be prepared to puncture the end of the tube because that leak seal was on there tight! I do struggle with the price point of this, which is currently $45. That is a bit steep for the results I got, but your mileage may vary.

Instantly tamed my frizzy hair. 10/10 recommend
By far one of my favorite hair products I've tried in a long time. I have frizzy hair and I have little time to "tame" or style it. This results in me frequently looking like I've just walked five miles in a wind storm. Which ultimately ends in me putting my hair in a pony tail or clip and then just letting my baby hairs fly away. I tried this my last two showers, once during wash day and once when I just wet my hair. During wash day I used a clarifying shampoo and a volumizing conditioner. When I got out I added this cream evenly to my hair and then let my hair air dry. The difference was instantaneous. My hair felt smooth, soft and frizz free! I also love the scent of it. It smells like products my salon uses so it makes me feel like I just went to the salon. It also gave me the confidence to wear my hair down more often. I had no difference in how my hair felt when using it on a non-wash day. I would 100% recommend getting this if you wanted to try and tame your frizzy hair.

Divine!
Review of LAKMÉ Teknia Frizz Control Cream This is a styling product I absolutely needed. Using LAKMÉ K20 Recover Restore Shampoo & Conditioner, I get some definition of my natural type 2B waves, but this lightweight cream elevates it, defining their shape far better than without. I love how easy it is to use, and that it works without weighing my hair down. It tames frizz, leaving a more natural, healthy bounce. The ingredients work to add much needed hydration to my locks, and it pumps up the shine from powerful botanicals like Ylang ylang oil, Chia seed extract and hyaluronic acid. It has a very pretty, but subtle scent somewhere in a mild, yummy, floral range. The cream has a nice, medium weight texture that’s easy to distribute through wet hair. It’s easy to use and doesn’t add any time to my haircare routine! Instructions: Spread evenly through wet hair. No rinse. Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Cyclopentasiloxane, Polyimide-1, Polyacrylamide, C-13-14 Isoparaffin, Dimethiconol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Fragrance (Parfum), Laureth-7, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1,3-Diol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Lactic Acid, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Extract, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, PPG-2 Methyl Ether, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Cananga Odorata Flower (Ylang ylang) Oil, Coumarin, Eugenol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Isoeugenol, Linalool, Limonene. 150mL/5.1 fl. oz. in a PET recycled plastic tube. 99% derived natural ingredients. Vegan, Free of paraben, mineral oil, ammonia, PPD, Gluten & Sulfate. Leaping Bunny (cruelty free.) Has synthetic or natural fragrance (Parfum) (undisclosed.) Shelf life, not listed. Made in Spain. Recommended. Though the product was provided under Amazon's Vine program, I used it as I would any purchase, and wrote an unbiased, honest review based on my experience.

A frizz control cream that is a game changer for my thick curls
I have thick, wavy hair that does not play well in the humidity. Maintaining anything resembling a “hairstyle” that isn’t just a ponytail is often an exercise in futility once the temperatures start rising. I tempered my expectations when trying this LAKME Teknia Frizz Control Cream because I have 50 years of bad experience with thick curls that refuse to behave if there’s a drop of moisture in the air. I put this cream in my hair after I towel-dried it. After I made sure it was evenly distributed it. I scrunched my curls and let my hair air dry and crossed my fingers. The verdict? WOW! This lightweight cream helps my curls spring to life, while managing to stay soft-no crunch in sight! This cream is really effective at controlling the frizz and that control lasts for hours! If it’s really really humid out, I’ll put a tiny bit on my fingers and just do a “baby scrunch” so my hair stays frizz free, One more thing: this cream smells ah-mazing. It’s smells clean, creamy and maybe a smidge floral? My husband LOVES the smell of my hair when I use this product. This tube isn’t cheap, but it doesn’t take much, and it’s basically miraculous on my hair, so this is absolutely worth it!

Controls frizz without making hair feel greasy
I've used this primarily to tame flyaways and reduce frizz, and it does a good job without making my hair feel heavy or coated. A small amount goes a long way, so the tube should last quite a while. The cream spreads easily through damp hair and helps smooth things out without creating the stiff or crunchy feeling that some styling products leave behind. It also leaves hair looking a bit more polished and manageable throughout the day. I wouldn't expect miracles if you have extremely frizzy hair in very humid conditions, but it definitely helps keep things under control. The scent is pleasant and salon-like without being overpowering. Overall, this is a nice anti-frizz product that provides noticeable smoothing while still letting hair feel natural.

Inconvenient packaging, and ineffective frizz control.
I'm always on the lookout for a good frizz contol cream, but this one fell short. I has a nice tacky feel to it, so I was hoping as it coated my wet hair it would really adhere and keep things in place. I used it along with the Lakme serum and my hair did feel incredibly soft once it was dry. However, it was also all of the place. I didn't have any type of curl definition, every strand seemed to be doing it's own thing, and it looked incredibly wild and untamed. Definitely not the look I was hoping for, especially since this cream is pretty expensive. The product comes in a tube which is incredibly inconvenient as you're styling your hair. I hate having product on my hands and having to screw the cap back on so that nothing spills out. Why not offer this is a pump? The serum has beautiful packing and a lovely pump. I guess after trying a few of the Lakme styling products I've come to the conclusion that they are trying to be a full product line and should really just stick to their health line. The serums and rescue creams I've tried are wonderful, but the styling products really fell short for me.

highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing!!! I love using this curl cream whether I'm letting my hair dry naturally or using my diffuser on my hair. This doesn't have any crunchy feeling to it when its dry, my hair feels very manageable and the smell is absolutely spectacular! This really works! I was really surprised how soft my hair felt it almost felt like a deep conditioner and the consistency was creamy, rich and saturated. My hair condition speaks for itself, this product really works!

curls are looking good!
This cream works great. I've been adding it right after showering before towel drying. I add it in and scrunch, and then lightly dry it off. My curls look so much better now. Less frizz and more definition. It has a creamy consistency that's easy to apply and isn't too heavy. Smells good too.

Needed for dry winters!
I live in a very dry, cold place and that happens to be my hairs worst nightmare along with my daughter’s hair worst nightmare. We have thin, straight, fine hair and believe it or not, this cream helped us survive the last little bit of winter without pulling our hair out in frustration. The cream is lightweight but it does happen to weigh down my daughter’s hair a bit more than mine. But naturally we have no volume so don’t be too shocked. The frizz control is spot on, along with the scent, and luckily it doesn’t leave us greasy. We can’t speak on the curl definition because we have no curls but it’s super effective at getting rid of the frizz from our hair type as well.

Leaves my hair incredibly soft
I have wavy hair (type 2C) that tends to get frizzy near the roots, so I was excited to try this frizz control curl cream from Lakmé. I've used it several times, both air drying and with a hairdryer. It definitely does help cut down on frizz, and it helps with initial curl definition, but it is more of a leave in conditioner than a curl holding product. It really doesn't provide any hold at all, so my curls don't last past the first day. I'm going to try it followed by a mousse, in the true "curly girl" method, and I expect it will work nicely when paired with a hold product. What I love about this product is how soft it leaves my hair. Although it's marketed as curl cream, it's working best for me when I dry my hair straight (well, straight-ish). It leaves my hair shiny and so soft to the touch! The smoothness lasts for days.

Bye bye frizz
Very nice curl cream. I was a big fan of the scent and this really does a fantastic job of taking away any frizz. It also gave my curls some structure and definition. That being said it was a little bit heavier weight on my hair. Too much of this product left me feeling a little too greasy and weighed down, but using just a small amount was the perfect mix to give my curls some definition minus the usual accompanied frizz. I also really liked how this held up in humidity and lasted throughout the day.

Very nice!
This cream does a nice job helping smooth frizz and making my hair feel softer and refreshed after styling. A little goes a long way, and it leaves my hair looking shinier without feeling heavy or greasy. The scent is pleasant and salon-like as well. My biggest complaint is definitely the price. At $45 for one tube, it feels extremely overpriced for a hair cream, even though the product itself performs well. If it were more affordable, I’d be much more likely to repurchase.

Not curl defining, but frizz control with a light lavender scent
Very lightweight and between a lotion that is watery like this came out easily like liquid without needing to squeeze the tube. This wasn't greasy or weighing down my hair at all. No shine added I don't smell a scent from the liquid but in my hair I smell something pleasant like almost like lavender. This didn't dry out my hair or make it thicker or crunchy I wouldn't call this curl defining, but did tame most of my frizz - it is not the same as flat ironing or curling my hair type of frizz control, but it is more tamer. What I liked: ✔️ Not heavy ✔️ Soft - It didn't mess with my natural hair in that it controlled the frizz without making it feel like I put anything in it ✔️ Reduced friz ✔️ My hair texture remains the same Things to consider: ➖ Small bottle ➖ I used this in dry hair ➖ Even when there are areas that I may have applied a little too much, it dried up and didn't make anything worse Overall: This was good in a sense that it made my morning hair not look like a lions mane, but I wouldn't say it curl defined. This brand has another one that does that better. This was super expensive for a small bottle and I have really long hair. I like the taming effect it had without adding anything to my hair like my hair still feels the same but smoother. So I will say they did a good job in that area because so many products feel like gunk in my hair but this didn't.

Runny, Scented, and Not a One‑and‑Done Curl Hero
Lakmé Teknia Frizz Control Cream is a premium leave‑in that delivers excellent softness and slip, but it leaves my frizz‑prone 2C/3A curls stranded without real standalone definition. Between the “surprise‑it’s‑everywhere” runny texture and a misleading “fragrance‑free” listing, it’s a tough sell at this luxury price point. On my 2C/3A curls, this behaves more like a light leave‑in than a true curl cream. My hair feels softer, but frizz reduction is minimal and I never get those “defined ringlets, reduced halo” results you expect when dropping serious cash. The ingredient story explains it: this is a silicone‑forward formula (cyclopentasiloxane, phenyl trimethicone, dimethiconol) backed by film‑formers, which is great for shine and smoothing but not for strong curl hold. 🧬🧪 The texture and labeling are where it really loses me. The consistency is incredibly runny - more thin lotion than cream - so the moment you give the tube a squeeze, it’s very easy to dispense way more than you need, and that excess quickly “leaps” out before you can stop it. Trying to coax the extra product back into the narrow opening is a messy circus. The Amazon page also claims “Sans Parfum,” but the actual INCI panel lists FRAGRANCE (PARFUM) plus ylang‑ylang oil and common fragrance allergens, and my nose confirms a noticeable salon‑style scent. If you genuinely need fragrance‑free formulas, this is a hard 🚩. On the plus side, hyaluronic acid, sunflower oil, and chia extract do give a nicely soft, non‑greasy finish, and a little goes a long way, which slightly cushions the sticker shock. But between weak frizz control, no real curl definition when used alone, the runny packaging experience, and the fragrance mismatch, Lakmé Teknia Frizz Control Cream is not a repurchase for me. I’ll finish the tube as a softening primer under a high‑hold gel, but I have cheaper stylers that give my curls far better shape and discipline. ✅ Best for: - Fine/normal hair wanting a lightweight, silicone‑smooth leave‑in with shine and no heavy residue. - Curly routines that just need a moisturizing primer under a strong‑hold gel. ❌ Skip if: - You have very frizz‑prone curls and want one product to do it all. - You require truly fragrance‑free hair care - the tube is fragranced despite the “Sans Parfum” listing. - Runny, easy‑to‑over‑dispense formulas in screw‑cap tubes drive you up the wall.

Frizz Control Cream
This cream smells amazing and has a really nice texture. A little goes a long way, so this should last quite a while even with regular use. It is pretty lightweight and doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy. It does help control some frizz and leaves my hair looking smoother, which helps define my curls, but I didn't find the results impressive enough to justify the price. While it worked reasonably well, I haven't noticed a significant difference compared to less expensive products I've used. Overall, it's a decent anti-frizz cream with a wonderful scent, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing.
