Faulty oil!

This can't be genuine macadamia oil, I ordered it last year but only just got around to using it, as I was using up other products first, the first time I used it, I just thought I used too much so I used a tiny drop and it makes the hair look really oily, I've used it in the past and it's been absolutely fine. I think this bottle is faulty. Is there anything you can do about this?! Happy to return?
