Pure sandalwood fragrance. It is strong enough but not overpowering. You do not need a cologne after using this balm as it last a long time but again is not overpowering even from the application. Use it sparingly for best results. Just like the old Brylcream ad. "A little dab will do ya".
This stick product form is a revelation. It not only can be tossed in your luggage (dry products like this and stick deodorant need not be in a TSA 3-1-1 bag,) but it lasts forever. A portable shaving brush whips the little amount you need to apply into a thick cream in no time. I get over 30 days of 1/day shaving with this. AND you never run out while you're traveling because you can see how much you have left before you leave. You can't tell with shaving cream in a can, and it's the worst thing to run out while traveling. This is a home-run for any traveler.
Sandalwood smell could be a little stronger and last a little longer, but other than that is nice thickness out of the tube and goes on easily.
