Not as good as the High Drive Moisture & Shine
So, this is not all bad but I need to be honest. I love R + Co. I've used many products and my favorite has always been the High Drive Moisture and Shine version of this...which is the thicker cream of these two. I literally buy it once every year, it lasts that long so the price doesn't scare me away as it is worth every penny and lasts a good solid year with multiple people using it. Me: I have long hair-middle of my back length, thin-medium thickness, but it is "fine", very lightweight hair with natural curl/waves...OH...naturally light-med brown and I add some blonde highlights to it, OK...my stylist does but since the pandemic situation came to be I have not had it done...another story for another day-haha!! Daily hair ritual...shower/wash my hair. I have a professional job, need to look presentable not like I just got off Naked and Afraid! Ha! I towel dry some, put in my smoothing cream...then blow dry with a blowout brush dryer (love this magical gift...proof there is a god!) I will sometimes curl it or flat iron it, depending on the day. Lately since the blowout brush dryer entered my life-January-ish...I just leave it straight-huge time saver! Once in a while, on a random Sunday I air dry it if I am not going in public and/or...simply need a good laugh... or want to scare my husband, children...OR... a stray animal away...haha! So, that may be an exaggeration...but I DO need a smoothing cream daily otherwise my hair is a frizzy mess, nothing cute about it. It feels course, its stuck in a weird 80's perm look on one side and then the other might be straight...if I brush it to get it unstuck...it suddenly morphs into what I imagine Diana Ross would look like as a 5'2" white woman...its so weird how my hair behaves after air drying! No offense meant toward Diana Ross, it works for her. Just not for me. So I came on Amazon recently to order my usual High Drive...and this "Waterfall" version pops up. Me... being the person I am who likes to trying new products... I begin reading all the reviews, see it says it is great for thin/fine hair...I figure...why not try something new? So I did. Pros: it smells similar to the High Drive version. It is light texture which is easy to put in your hair. It isn't heavy or sticky! Love that! I hate sticky products, so does my troll doll hair! Cons: There isn't enough moisture for me. Not even close. I'm wondering if most the reviewers had never tried the High Drive now. I say this because I am using triple the amount and not even coming close to the results I get with a half a penny size drop of High Drive. I literally used a good handful on one of my girls today and then said forget this. We had good laugh, may or may not have joked about throwing it out the window. I have now tried it on all five of my teenage daughters hair, and myself in the last week of receiving it. All five of my girls have different hair types and super long hair-it was a no-go for ALL of them too. Not nearly as much moisture, shine or detangling power. It really doesnt seem like it does a darn thing, maybe prevents static. It is still 20-something where we live and dry. Conclusion: It is probably a step up from a discount store brand, commonly one in green bottle that we used prior to discovering High Drive. I guess I would say I would not recommend this if you want the extra moisturizing and to use much less product. I think it is overpriced for what you get in this version, definitely NOT the case with High Drive. I use a drop the size of my lip balm tube of High Drive and my hair is awesome! I hope this helps someone make a decision if you're like me and wanted to try something new but were curious if this was better for thin/fine hair. We never know unless we try! I will use this, but still will be buying the High Drive today...maybe save this for those random Sundays when I have a sense of humor and want to scare people!

Love this stuff! Cannot go a day without it now that my friend shared this product with me, I have in turn given recommendations to many other of my friends and they too love it and thank me! This stuff is beyond amazing for your hair! My hair feels like satin, and smells oh so good. Even my 7 year old begs for me to use this in her hair! For new users a little tip, put more into your hair(quarter sized amount) when wet or damp(I flip my head upside down and go from tips to closer to the crown of my head but never to the root), blow dry, and then I always flat iron or curl my hair. Then add another dime sized amount into my hair and gently pat from tips to the crown(never all the way to the roots). **Make sure to always rub into your hands first and gently try to work it through your hair, you don’t want a big gob of this in one spot!

Fantastic product
I left the same review for High Dive. I have wavy/curly hair, that frizzes. I also have damaged ends. This review applies to both High Dive and Waterfall, as I see very little difference in both. I started using High Dive and straightening my hair using a roller hair dryer a few months ago. High Dive and Waterfall work very well in taming the frizz (though, it slightly frizzes when there is high humidity, but not nearly as much as without the product). My ends feel healthy and my hair feels soft. While it helps with shine, it it is more of a matte shine than glossy. Both the crème and lotion are light weight - I do not feel residue in my hair. However, I do find that after about 1 month, my hair gets slightly more oily looking before I wash my hair (which gets done every other day), but I have found that I can wash once with Neutrogena clarifying shampoo once before going back to my Pureology, and it takes care of any residue. (Again, I don’t feel the residue, only see it.) Again, love both High Dive and Waterfall!

I love this brand!
Not sure how I would rate the "value for money" accurately, I love this brand and nearly every product I have ever purchased from them, but I do cringe a little when I spend $30-40 on a shampoo or shine cream. That said, these products are so incredibly cool -- the packing is so unique and minimalistic and artsy and I love it. I am totally drawn in by the scents and not drowning in 'florals'. I would consider most R+Co product scents to be a little more natural and definitely more unisex. This particular product does not add weight or oil, but smooths out and hydrates my hair, and helps with my natural waves.

First off, let me say the smell? I want perfume that smells like this product. Value, i use a small dime size (sometimes more) in my chin length hair so it lasts a good long while I bought this after boxy charm sent me a sample in their box.. and I use it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Formula change
I've been using Waterfall for years and it was my go-to for smooth hair but on my recent restock, I noticed the formula is completely different and it does not perform the same way on my hair. This product is higher priced than I typically spend but it is worth it. I have fine short thinner hair and a little bit goes a long way. A bottle will last about 6 months so it makes up for the higher price. Leaves hair smooth soft and shiny. It smells incredible. As a Curly haired girl with lots of frizz, You can imagine how big my hair got after removed all that weight. I found Waterfall through a friend who shared it with me from her Rachel Zoe beauty box! I’m on my fourth tube. I need a leave-in because my hair is highlighted with a coarse texture, so it’s a must. Formula has changed!
I have bought this product 31 times over the last few years from Amazon. I have always loved it! The last time I purchased it I was so disappointed… I bought a new tube to take on my Girls Trip. When I opened it and squirted some in my hand it was way more runny than usual. I used it while on my trip but it never seemed to work the way it always had in the past.
