The Skin House Black Snail Bubble Mask
This is my inital review for the skin house black snail bubble mask, and I'll continue updatng it as I use it. A little bit about my self, I've always had a troubled skin and alot of scars so I don't usually use any product, as I can easily breakout and develop scars and plus having a very oily skin doesn't help either. So I'm always careful to what I apply to my skin or my face, because having to work all day and being out, and if I had a negative reaction to any ingredient it will be a mess, specially with also wearing masks and having all those bacteria staying on the mask and your skin all the time. So I was shopping for some new products to use for me and my wife, we both have this complex skin type, and she also got some scarring. So we do a facial Sunday, a full skin routine in our house, I get alot of skin care products, exfoliating serums, chemical peels , Facial cleansers and all kind of skin care machines like derma pen and rollers, etc.. So I came around this product by accident and for the price I thought well, the higher the price the better the ingredients and higher quality, as I stay away from all those sub $10 products, they all mess my skin and face and i develop rash and it's doesn't hurt if it didn't work I can just return it. So I've been using it for the past month and it's been working very good with me, it's been making my skin so much softer and tighter, I can actually feel my skin healthy and on the pinkish side, scars are fading. Everyone been asking about why my face is suddenly been glowing, and my secret has been because I've added it to my skin routine and I've been loving it so much, it's insanely good product and looks and feel very high quality and I highly recommend it. Okay - Tickles Face
An odd facial mask that goes through some interesting changes. It squeezes out of the can as a shiny black creamy substance. As you massage this over your face, it very quickly turns color on you to a very pale bluish white color. That's the bubbling action starting to do its thing. As it sits, I find that it starts to tickle my face. That's the bubbling action taking place. While waiting for masks to work, I always go off and do something other than waiting around in my bathroom until it's time to rinse away. The longer I waited, the more this thing tickled. Didn't bother me at first, but then as time went on, I couldn't wait to get this stuff off of my face. Note that the directions say to leave on for 3-5 minutes. I let it go for about 10 minutes. When I went back into the bathroom to rinse this mask away, I had to laugh when I looked in the mirror. This stuff really bubbled up and created this thick foam all across my face. It sat there about three quarters of a inch thick on my face as a very light pearl gray foam. To me, it looked like a bunch of dryer lint had made its home all over my face. Was a little bit surprised when I went to rinse this away because it was a little oilier than I had expected it to be. Took a little rinsing with a make-up removal pad, but was eventually easy enough to remove. Once complete, my face felt soft and smooth and there was a little bit of moisturization added to my face without any leftover residues.

Works well enough but not easy to remove
I picked this one up for my teen son, who enjoys using these types of masks for his acne troubles and skin care. This mask comes in an easy to use bottle. The opening allows for simple portioning and access. The liquid is a bit slimy but does spread well enough on the skin. Unfortunately, it does start foaming quickly, and he needs to work fast to get the mask on as it makes it difficult to spread when the bubbling begins. The mask had a nice sensation during wear and is comfortable. At the end of the prescribed time, it is to be wiped off, not washed since the mask does seem to be slightly water repellent. For the most part, the mask came off without much effort, but the last bit and residue proved to be more difficult to scrub off and remove (it just took a little more work than other masks). My son's skin is softer. However, he says he doesn't really notice any deep pore cleaning effect or special benefits beyond moistening. It did not irritate his skin.

Interesting And Different

I got this for my wife as she likes to try new products if they pass her stringent parameters for use. This product is suitable for all skin types. The product itself is in Korean and there do not appear to be any instructions for use. But the product information on Amazon does have the following: Apply an adequate amount of product on dry or wet face (Except eyes) After bubbling starts leave on from 2-5 minutes Wash with lukewarm water So my wife did the following to test this product. She washed her face with hot water and the exfoliated. She says the less dead skin on your face allows these type of products to be more effective. She then uses a hot towel to assist in opening up her pores. At which point, she applied the mask. She did say you might want to apply a small portion to a small area and leave it for a few minutes to see if it irritates your skin. Then after 5 minutes she rinsed off the mask and moisturized. I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, She said she liked the feel and active bubbling kind of massage this product provides. This is something she is going to add to her skincare regiment as she has not tried anything like this before. The bubbling action was an experience but it can get sort of itchy almost unbearable at times. The mask does not harden or peel off it just sort of foams so it is easy to rinse off. Works nicely
I got this product after reading the description page of this saying that it deep cleans the skin. I have as of last year been getting into the whole pampering routine and been incorportation masks into my skincare routine as it feels relaxing and has helped to improve the look and feel of my skin. I had never heard nor using anything from this product line before and did pair this with there face wash in a yellow tube. The formula of this is nice as it is easy to get the right amount out and apply. The reaction is almost instant as you apply it to your face. The mask comes out black and then as you wipe it across your face it turns transparent to turning grey in color almost immediately. From there you leave the mask on for 2-3 mins and then wipe into the skin before rinsing off. If I have one complaint which I mean I could just skip this step if I wanted to is that when you rub it in that is where it gets messy. The product balls up as your rubbing it leaving black pieces all over your face and sink. Its not a huge problem but I would like if this didnt happen as it seems all charcoal products seem to be a mess as my interactions with them have lead me to believe. Overall thou I like this both by itself because you can feel the bubbles on your face and paired with my face wash that is by the same brand in a yellow tube together they both seem to help clear my skin of acne and make my face feel smooth.

So much fun
Oh, my goodness. I wish my video would upload because this is so much fun. You're going to take addicted! My best friend and I used this and once our kids saw what we looked like, they needed it on it, top. It gave us lots of laughs and was a great photo opportunity for Snapchat! Pretty wild experience

reliable and budget friendly
if you’re familiar with bubble masks you know what to expect with this one. i like this one because it comes in a dispenser instead of a jar like other ones i’ve tried. it does what a bubble masks does and it foams up; you rinse it off and proceed with your skincare routine. i like bubble masks because they’re gentle and feel tickly on my face while it works. this one is only $17 and that’s cheaper than a lot of other bubble masks, so if you’re curious i would recommend starting off with this budget friendly option before committing to a pricier one. it’s good quality for the price and still compares to more expensive ones i’ve tried. i have slightly sensitive skin and i didn’t experience any irritation. it rinses off clean and my skin looks better afterwards. the skin house has been around in korea for a while and have actual stores and they’re known for budget friendly options, but they’re still a lot better than your typical drugstore stuff.

this is an adventure in skin care.... awesome results
I wasn't sure what to expect so I did a trial run on my forearm to be sure there was no reaction. I have used this twice, both times had the same end results, although the second use I experienced a bit of a burning sensation. This may be because I didn't wait long between uses, so that is on me. I will say, this is a crazy product. It comes out of the canister black. As you apply it to your face, it starts to turn white. Then it turns into foam. After the recommended 5 minute time you rinse it off. Note: If you touch your face in the foam mode, you can't go back for a do over. It stays black and does not foam up. However, it still works. It does take a few passes of water there to remove all the product, but the end result is absolutely wonderful! My skin felt baby butt soft, no weird odors to contend with. I have neither dry nor oily skin and am over 60 years of age. Just for reference.

Good deep cleaning
I use this in the shower when I need an extra deep cleaning. After washing my face, I apply this mask and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes in the shower. It immediately starts to bubble up on my face which provides a pleasant sensation. My face feels smoother and cleaner and my pores are reduced in size. It only takes a very small amount to completely cover my face.

Unique Mask
I received this item through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review. This is a unique mask! It comes out of the bottle kind of thick and dark like tar. What activates the mask is rubbing it into your skin to get it to foam. It gets lighter and bigger and feels kind of weird. It's like a tickle or a fizzing on your skin. It took quite a bit of water to properly remove. It left my skin feeling hydrated and clean, but also a little over-saturated. I tried not to think about it including snails but it seems to have done the job of helping my skin. Overall an interesting find!

Itchy But Clean
So I will say this feels weird on my skin when I use. It itches and bubbles on my skin. After a few minutes it was okay. I do feel clean and refreshed afterwards. I have not noticed a visual difference but it is not hurting me and I have only used a few times now. I will definitely continue using as I feel like it is helping. Definitely interesting product!

Nice, but weird
This does leave your face feeling clean and fresh but it is odd. It comes out black and then turns color on your face. Then it starts to bubble and feels weird. I wanted it off, you get used to it but the first couple of times I was not a fan. I haven't really noticed any long term benefits.

Holy chemical burn
I really love oxygen masks. I like the way they clean/feel, and amazon can be a good treasure trove of some smaller/unknown/foreign brands at a very good price. I especially like oxygen masks when they come in a jar/bottle, because I'm not a fan of the sheet mask versions that are most commonly available. I'm not the biggest fan of charcoal in my beauty products because it tends to make me break out if I don't remove it completely, but I do love snail mucin as an ingredient. This was very cheap, big, and had an easy pump applicator, so I bought it. I've had it for a long time and still have probably quite a bit left. But that's because I reallllyyy don't like using it honestly. It leaves my skin so dry I've gotten full on chemical burns from it. Just in of itself. Not including the face washing i have to do afterwards to make sure the charcoal is fully removed from my pores, so I'm stripping my skin even more washing it off of my face. The only upside to this one, is it seems to be more water based and doesn't get stuck down into your pores and NEED to be scrubbed out of them as hard as the thicker oil based ones that can be difficult to wash off. Although that seems to be a double edged sword, because I try to only leave it on for maybe max 5 minutes and it still BURNS and dries out my skin. I like when I can leave an oxygen mask on until that popping/bubbling sensation slows down and that lets me know it's pushed out all the dirt. (Also a good test of whether that sensation is artifical or actually removing dirt and oil from your face if the time varies based on how clean your skin is before use) The thicker oil bases in most seem to make sure it leaves some hydration behind so this sort of thing doesn't happen. I have had issues with acne/oily prone skin so if I'm complaining..... I can't really attest to any long term benefits because honestly I hardly use it and usually regret it when I do. I think I'm willing to pay a few more bucks for a good oxygen mask that isn't just pure pain and leaving chemical burns and bright red patches all over my face. Even when I used it because I was having severe breakouts or extremely oily skin it was just wayyyy too harsh.
