The scent is amazing, classy
The scent is amazing, classy, manly, soft, with a subtle sweetness... Not too much of anything, a pleasant scent for anyone that doesn't like too much musk or too much of anything for that matter, this is the perfect cologne for me, in no way over powering no matter how much you put on {with in reason of course}... Try it you will not be sorry... Also if you want to try a soap that goes very well with this, they compliment each other perfectly and it is one of the best soaps I have ever used, try the Mistral sandalwood bar soap, its expensive but 1 bar will last months!!! Amazon also sells that... Just because we are men doesn't mean we can not take care of our selves with nice hygiene products, this is one of them that shouldn't be over looked, I am not the type to want to drive the same car, or smell the same as the next guy, this is a scent not many people own, so it gets attention, it is in my opinion my favorite to date..

Ok.. I just finished writing a review for the Truefitt & Hill Grafton Cologne that I purchased at the same time from Amazon, as a did this: Truefitt & Hill's Sandalwood. This is not like most sandalwood colognes that I've tried before. It's got strong sandalwood notes, along with cedar, citrus, herbs (which I can't put my finger on, but rosemary or sage come to mind) and honey (yes, honey.) T&H Sandalwood, like their Grafton, is a very masculine cologne, without being overwhelming. I've used just two spritzes and can readily notice it. It's lowkey but not understated. Trust me, you'll turn heads when you wear this cologne. My wife loves both this and the Grafton cologne, so much so that she can't decide which is her favorite of the two. I wear this (The Sandalwood) for when I'm out on the town on weekends and want something casual, light and energizing. I wear the Grafton for when I'm at work and want something more serious and "professional" so to speak. I've now purchased and use four different Truefitt & Hill products, and I'm hooked. Their products, while a bit on the expensive side, are truly high end and well worth the money. I get the best shaves, the best skin care and the best cologne for my money.

Well, for me, its underwhelming..
Having used many Truefitt & Hill Colognes over the years, I was surprised that this one was very weak in strength in my opinion.. Other definitions of Sandalwood have been better for me than this version. Not a lot of staying power either because of this.. Everyone is different, some may like it as it is, but for me, it is going to not get a lot of use.

Do not buy this product
It doesn't smell like sandalwood at all, the sent remains me more of Sprite than anything else. The smell lasts maybe 15 minutes. Definitely not worth the price, after the first use I don't even want it for free. I want my money back.
