I usually go into trying a new product with high hopes, but also the reality that most products aren't going to work out for me. This one is an exception because it's AMAZING! I'm fairly new to wearing tape-in human hair extensions, and trying to figure out products that will work on them has honestly been a nightmare. Trying things recommended online hasn't worked for me. I've recently found a shampoo and conditioner that works for this extremely processed, super dry, wavy/fizzy hair that breaks off if you look at it the wrong way, but needed something more for the frizz and really bad tangling issue. When I first received this product, I was surprised by the heavy glass bottle it was in. It felt like a quality item right off the bat. The pump on top turns one way to open and the other to close. I put the serum on the length of my hair, but not anywhere near my roots, scalp, or my tapes! (Putting this on or near the tape on tape-in hair extensions could potentially cause them to slip or fall out.) This serum oil has so many great oils in it, and it has made so much of a difference in my bio hair and the hair extensions. Just a pea-sized amount is enough for my entire head of 22" extensions. I rub it vigorously into my palms to heat it up, and then barely touch my fingers through my freshly washed, 80% air-dried hair, just here and there until both sides of my head are done. If I could give any advice about this product, is don't use too much. Less is more, imo. I got the 1.70 fluid oz bottle, and I'm sure it will last me a long time. I'm so happy with this hair serum I would recommend it to anyone who needs some frizz control without being sticky or heavy.
I was able to snag this and the leave in conditioner and I am in love. I put this on after a shower on my damp hair and it leaves my hair feeling so soft and smooth without feeling weighed down or oily. It has a very subtle scent that is light and pleasant. You can also put a small amount on dry hair to take flyaways. I will definitely be repurchasing this.
The hair oil is a little thick but hair oil is supposed to be that way. You only need to use a little to get the desired effect. If you just use a squirt or two that is sufficient enough to leave your hair soft and smooth. The black truffle extract, linseed oil, olive fruit oil, macademia seed oil, and the argan oil really leaves your hair silky. It may only be 1.7 ounces (there is a picture of a bottle with 3.38 ounces but that is another buying option), but this will last a long time if used properly. A good value for the price and would recommend.
This hair oil is very oily. It has a light scent to it and smells nice kind of like Coty perfume. I applied this to the ends of my hair not near the scalp since I have oily scalp. The serum/oil went into my hair nicely, but left my hands with an oily slick. I tried to keep rubbing my hand into my hair. The serum made my hair soft and kept the hair smooth. I smelled my hair and the scent became stronger not overpowering but definitely stronger.
