The professional hair stylist had better luck with this brush than I did. My hair kept getting tangled around the brush as I tried to blow dry my hair
These brushes are the gold standard for a professional blow dry and create beautiful body and shine in the hair. That being said the reason boar bristle brushes give such amazing results is because they provide a lot of tension in the hair, which may make using them on your own hair harder than a ceramic round brush.
The product arrived half way in and half way out of the package. The wood has splinters (it is not the real YS brush) and oddly it had an awful smell! The brush looks used I immediately put it back in the package and I am sending back and buying from YS directly. DO NOT BUY THIS BRUSH.

These brushes are designed for professionals, and each size has its specific use. One brush will not do it. If your a professional you need the full set and your finishes will reflect the amazing quality of these brushes!
Could not ask for a better brush. Great on my fine hair.
This brush is featherweight. Gentle on your hair. Helps the hair to dry quickly. The handle is wood, and mine was a little rough right out of the box. I sanded it with some light sandpaper and buffed it with dry steel wool(000) to remove the burrs. Some round brushes seem to create static, this one does not. I am very pleased, and highly recommend.
Far better for blowdrying my hair than any ceramic brush and less damaging.
Sorry...this was a dud! Too small and did not go through my thick hair. Horrible packaging.

Very easy to shape and light
There are multiple layers/lengths so it grabs all the hair when blow drying or brushing. I might get the larger size if it is available as well.

Referred to me by my stylist, this brush does a great job of helping manage fly aways and fuzzy, overly dried hair. Takes a bit to get used to, as the bristles are tight and grab the hair securely. Would definitely recommend.

This brush is by far my favorite round brush I have ever used in my hair. It is grippy but gentle, and gives it a beautiful shine. My hairstylist has been using them for years and I’ve always been so envious, now I have one of my own (after a little haranguing on my part as to where to obtain one). Buy this thing, you’ll toss every other round brush you’ve already got.

Does not pull your hair out or get stuck. It produces a nice curl easily with a hairdryer so you don't damage your hair further with a hot iron! It was a good purchase.

Expensive, yes! But oh so worth it. My hair dresser recommend this brush. There are two things that make it great. One is the handle. It is easy to grip. The other is that when blow drying your hair you can put a little tension on it and the hair does not slip through. Very important if you are trying to blow dry and get rid of those frizzes. I love love love love this brush. I also got it in the smaller size.
Perfect for styling
The sharp ends irritate the scalp. Need smooth balls on the ends. Brush doesn’t keep the hair together like expensive brushes should.
I think this brush might smell/ make my hair smell when I use it to dry my hair. It was recommended by my stylist, but not sure I love it to use on myself.
It is wayyyyy too small. Fifty dollars and it is too small.... Get the largest one as this one gets very tangled in my long hair. Wish I could return it.
It was expensive! Very and I thought it would do wonders! It does not and I am not using it
It's OK. My salon uses these and I thought it would be great but for the price, not so much. I may just need a larger brush but I'd return this one if I could.
