The serum is creamy, like moisturizer, goes on smooth but the fragrance although pretty is a bit strong. After putting on I spent the next 30 mins or so sneezing. Its been about 3 hours since putting it on & I can still smell on my hands. It has some good ingredients in it but they need to be higher up on the list. I just can't get past the strong fragrance.
First about me - I'm in my early fifties and I am a regular user of anti-aging products. My skin is in pretty good condition. It's not too dry but I do get the occasional zit which I attribute primarily to wearing face masks. I do have sensitivity issues to some skincare products, but I have not been able to pinpoint a particular ingredient. Now on to the serum. It has a fresh, floral scent to it. I personally like it, but if you are sensitive to fragrance, you may want to reconsider. I haven't had any issues with sensitivity. It absorbs well into my skin. I use 2 pumps to cover my entire face and neck area. It is a creamy opaque consistency. I have been using this twice a day after cleansing and toning and before applying my moisturizer.
I fell in love with the brand as the cleanser is one of my favorite cleanser. However; I am not a fan of the serum. This is very heavily fragranced. It has a floral smell. I do not mind the smell, but it lingers for hours and is pretty strong. I also do not love fragrance in my skincare. If they removed that, this would my go too. It soaks into my skin and leaves my face feeling hydrated.
