This is everythinggggg I could’ve dreamed of.
I LOVE this brush for a number of reasons. 1. The detangling. It went through my coarse curly hair and my 2 year old daughters softer curly hair (that has a lot of knots) with minimal effort and no tears (from either of us)! This was with wet hair after shampoo and conditioner and it has never been this easy. 2. The size of the paddle is do I dare say… perfect? The other brushes I have tried (Tangle Teezer Naturally Curly Hair Brush, Wet Brush Thick Hair Detangling Brush, Denman Curly Hair Bush) were narrower, which I would previously prefer since I would have to brush my hair in smaller sections just to detangle, but this brush glides through so well making the wider paddle work! 3. The bristles. The length of the bristles are long enough to penetrate my thickkkk hair. They are flexible and soft on my scalp unlike the Tangle Teezer and Denman which feels scratchy. The bristles on the Wet Brush are firmer and much less forgiving although I have also tried multiple of the Wet flexible detangling brushes too, but the bristles always broke after a few uses. The Tangle Teezer bristles on mine and my daughters are very firm. With this brush, I didn’t want to stop brushing my hair because it was effortless and actually felt good. 4. The hair doesn’t stay trapped in the brush. I have to brush my other brushes with a fine tooth comb or rinse in water to remove the trapped hair and even then it doesn’t all come out. I can effortlessly grab the hair from this brush with my hand saving time and my patience. 5. Its vented and doesn’t stay wet making it perfect for the shower! With that being said, I cannot speak to the durability of the brush since I just received it today. Nor can I speak to the curl definition afterwards since I applied a mask and I did not style my hair. However, I will say I have been contemplating cutting my hair very short (can’t-make-a-ponytail-short) due to the amount of time, shedding, and overall headache my hair has caused in the past few months.. But now!? Shiii I’m gonna keep my hair for a little bit longer, because tonight it finally felt manageable. It also swayed me away from considering a texture softener just to struggle less with fighting to detangle and style it. I was that fed up. Anywho 10/10. Highly suggest you try for yourself! Did not disappoint me!

Great Initial Performance, But Durability is Questionable – 4 Stars
I purchased the Janeke Superbrush Detangler Brush Anti-static and initially, it was everything I could have asked for in a brush. For about six months, it effortlessly detangled my hair, was gentle on my scalp, and the anti-static feature was a bonus. However, my satisfaction was short-lived. Around the half-year mark, I noticed the bristles began to snap off. This deterioration was gradual and not immediately noticeable, but over time, it significantly affected the brush's performance. The broken bristles created sharp edges that not only damaged my hair but also posed a risk to my scalp. It was disappointing to find that such a promising brush turned out to be less durable than expected. The most concerning part is how these broken bristles can go unnoticed at first, leading to unintentional damage to both hair and scalp. While the brush was excellent initially, its lack of longevity is a major drawback. In conclusion, I give the Janeke Superbrush 4 stars for its initial performance. However, potential buyers should be aware of its durability issues. It's a fantastic brush when new, but be prepared for possible bristle breakage in the long term.

5/5 stars
I recently purchased the Janeke Original Patented Superbrush Detangler Brush and I’m extremely impressed with its performance. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience: Packaging & First Impressions The brush arrived neatly packaged, and I was immediately drawn to the sleek pink design. It looks both elegant and functional, which made me excited to give it a try. The brush itself feels very lightweight but sturdy, and the soft yet durable handle makes it easy to grip. Design & Functionality The standout feature of this brush is the flexible nylon bristles. Unlike traditional brushes with stiff bristles, the Superbrush is designed to gently glide through wet or dry hair without causing any tugging or pulling. The brush is also anti-static, which means it reduces frizz, something I’ve struggled with in the past with other brushes. • Nylon Bristles: The bristles are soft, yet they are sturdy enough to detangle hair effectively without causing discomfort. Whether I’m using it on my wet hair after a shower or on dry hair, it works seamlessly to remove tangles. • Flexible Technology: The brush has flexible components that move with your hair, helping to detangle it without breaking or damaging the strands. This is particularly beneficial for those with long, thick, or curly hair, as the bristles don’t pull or snap, and the flexibility helps with reducing hair breakage. • Anti-Static Feature: One of the things I’ve noticed is how the brush reduces frizz. My hair has a tendency to get a bit staticky or frizzy, especially in dry weather, but the anti-static properties of this brush have been a game-changer. Performance • Wet Hair: I have thick, curly hair, and I usually dread brushing it while it’s wet because it leads to breakage or tangling. This brush made a noticeable difference. It detangled my hair with minimal effort, and I didn’t experience any pain or breakage while using it. • Dry Hair: When using it on dry hair, it does an excellent job at smoothing and detangling, leaving my hair looking shiny and healthy without any frizz or flyaways. It’s gentle but effective, so I use it daily to maintain my hair’s softness and shine. • All Hair Types: The brush works well on various hair types. Whether your hair is curly, straight, or wavy, this brush glides through effortlessly, making it suitable for everyone. I’ve also used it on my friends’ hair, who have different textures, and they were all impressed by how gentle and effective it was. Durability & Quality The build quality of this brush is excellent. The bristles feel sturdy, and the flexible design is made to last. The brush itself is lightweight, yet it feels premium in your hand, and I appreciate the quality materials used. The handle is ergonomically designed, making it easy to hold, and I haven’t experienced any issues with the bristles losing shape or falling out. Ease of Cleaning Cleaning the brush is also a breeze. The bristles don’t get clogged with hair as easily as some other brushes I’ve used. When there is hair buildup, it’s easy to remove the strands, and the brush doesn’t accumulate much dirt or oil. I simply rinse the bristles with warm water, and it’s good to go. Final Thoughts Overall, the Janeke Superbrush Detangler is an amazing brush that really lives up to its claims. It’s gentle, effective, and great for people with long, thick, or curly hair. The anti-static and flexible bristles make it a standout product for detangling and smoothing hair with minimal effort, and it works wonderfully both on wet and dry hair. Pros: • Effective detangling without causing pain or breakage • Anti-static properties reduce frizz and flyaways • Works well on all hair types, especially thick, curly, and long hair • Flexible bristles help reduce breakage and discomfort • Lightweight and ergonomic for easy use • Durable and easy to clean Cons: • The price may be slightly higher than regular detangling brushes, but it’s worth the investment for the quality and results. Rating: 5/5 stars I highly recommend the Janeke Superbrush to anyone looking for an effective, gentle, and high-quality detangling brush. It’s especially great for those with thicker or curlier hair, but it works for everyone. The design and functionality make it worth every penny.

The Hype Didn’t Match My Expectations
Before this brush I had a brush from Tangle Teezer and it was my favorite brush, but it was time to replace it and I wanted to try something new. I saw positive video reviews on TikTok, and many influencers use this brush, so I decided to order it. I thought I would say “WOW!” the first time I used this brush, but that didn’t happen. I really thought it was some kind of magic brush because everyone praises it. I decided to experiment and ordered a similar brush from China! And you know what? I liked the brush from China more than the original. I’ll explain why: Original brush: ✅ Easily detangles hair ✅ Makes blow-drying easier ✅ Doesn’t tear wet hair ✅ Easy to clean ✅ Lightweight ❌ The bristles are hard ❌ My hair became static ❌ Difficult to create a smooth ponytail Brush from China: ✅ Has the same "+" as the original brush, but ✅ The bristles are softer ✅ And my hair doesn’t get static. ❌ Difficult to create a smooth ponytail. Perhaps I just haven’t mastered the art of hairstyling with this brush yet, but the fact that I prefer the brush from China over the original really surprised me! But I hope that over time it will become softer and will stop making my hair static, as people write in reviews, and that this money was not wasted.

delivery
I received the brush with a defect in the plastic near the base of the bristles. The product itself is usable, but the quality control and packaging were disappointing. I contacted customer service and provided photos of the issue. Unfortunately, the seller would not offer any partial refund or compensation. The only options available were a full return or replacement, both of which require sending the defective item back. For international customers, the return process can be inconvenient and time-consuming. I expected a more customer-friendly solution for a product that arrived with a manufacturing defect. Disappointed with both the quality control and the after-sales support.

Great for Irish Curls
I will never use another brush! I have long Irish curls and only wash my hair every couple days so sometimes it gets very tangled. This brush glides through my tangles like a breeze. Remember start from the bottom up. It’s sturdy and does a great job.

It’s really about the hype
It’s an okay brush. It’s a lot of hype for a pretty ordinary brush. Wouldn’t purchase again. Not worth the expense. I would say the bristle strength is medium. I have fine, straight hair and it easily moves through my strands wet or dry. My husband uses it now. He has slightly thicker, wavy hair and says it doesn’t fully detangle his hair. I can imagine it would work well for someone with thick or wavy or curly hair.
