K18 vs Unite 7 Seconds Review
I have fine bleached blonde hair that gets very tangled out of the shower. I’ve been using Unite 7 seconds for years and love it, but I don’t believe it’s a heat protector. So I’ve also been using a separate heat protector. I was hesitant to buying this for the price. It’s double that of Unite. Having used it now several times I can say that it detangles my hair very easily, the same as Unite. But with less product! It has a light smell and the spray pattern is more of a mist so better coverage. I have noticed that my hair feels a little greasy on my top roots afterwards so I would recommend avoiding the root area. My hair does seem to be more silky smooth now after styling than ever before. Less dry on the ends after blow drying. So far, I'm sold on it!

Good product
K-18 smells amazing and definitely leaves my hair feeling soft without making it greasy or heavy. I’m still not totally sure how much heat protection it actually provides yet, but so far I really like how lightweight it feels and how healthy my hair looks after using it!

Lightweight Protection, Smooth Finish, and Salon-Level Results
The K18 HeatBounce Conditioning Heat Protectant Spray is a high-performance leave-in treatment that delivers strong heat protection while keeping hair soft and manageable. Designed for all hair types, it offers up to 450°F (232°C) protection, making it ideal for blow-drying, curling, and flat ironing. One of the standout features is how lightweight the formula feels. It doesn’t weigh the hair down or leave any greasy residue, yet it still provides noticeable smoothing and detangling benefits. Hair feels softer and more controlled after application. The spray helps reduce frizz and adds a healthy-looking finish while protecting strands from heat damage. It works especially well as a prep step before styling, making tools glide more smoothly through the hair. It also helps improve manageability, making brushing and styling easier, especially for dry or tangled hair. Despite its lightweight feel, it still delivers a noticeable difference in softness and shine. Overall, this is an effective, salon-quality heat protectant that combines protection, softness, and smooth styling in one easy step. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Smooth and Soft Hair
I can tell this stuff is protecting my hair! I have used on wet and dry, though primarily dry, and a little goes a long way. My hair is SO smooth after use. I also use the K18 oil, a dream team. Knocking one star off for the strong fragrance though that’s my personal preference, it doesn’t last. I know that’s not Amazon’s fault but the manufacturer. Overall would highly recommend!

Great product
This is so amazing this product is great for your hair. But the prices are ridiculously expensive for such small amounts that is in these containers. But other then that it’s a very good product.

Uncertain but will continue
I love the idea of it repairing your hair as you use it, but I’m not sure if it’s really effective in this. I need to use it longer on my type 4 natural hair that some damage. Fragrance isn’t mild. Value for money is why I deducted a star. Quite expensive for such a small bottle.

Love this line
OK, this product is absolutely phenomenal. Non-greasy does what it says. It’s supposed to do. Your hair will look better. Well your hair will fill and look shiny. It is one of my favorite products. I will continue to buy. I went from Sydney Hair after doing highlights and color to sick and luscious hair. I am so in love with this product. I recommend to everybody I know. And also will continue to showcase to those that are following to the same problems that I am, which is going through menopause and having massive hair loss.

A New Favorite K18 Product
I had not used this K18 Protectant Spray before today but have really liked the Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask. The Protectant Spray leaves my hair so soft and manageable. And styles so easily. I have to say that with K18 products they are worth paying more. July 2026 My second order of K18 Protectant Spray…always want to have this on hand!

Saves my hair from heat damage
My hair dresser gave me a trial bottle to use on my hair before blowing it dry. My hair used to smell like it was burning if the dryer was used too close to it. Now that no longer happens and my hair looks healthy after every blow dry. It's good t know that i can also use it when i occasionally use the flat iron on my hair. The reorder was easy, well priced for a larger amount and arrived quickly.

Great product, worth every penny!
Wonderful product, my hair is so much healthier by using this product along with other products in the line. My only complaint is I had a defective pump but will add the contents to my next bottle.

Love Her!
Makes a noticeable difference in my hair after using it. Helps with frizziness & makes my hair softer/smoother after using it. The small bottle lasted about a month and a half for me, as someone with very long and thick hair!

Tiny wonder
Love this brand. The reason I gave it 4 star is for the size of the bottle I was expecting the size to be a little bigger. Other than that I think its doing a good job to protect my hair.

Great Hair product!!
I was just introduced to this product by a girlfriend… She uses it on her hair and head high reviews for it so when I bought it and was using it, I really liked it. I put it on my hair damp and proceeded to dry my hair and it gives my hair so much body and the next day my hair isn’t all flat so I can go an extra day without having to wash my hair and styling it. I would actually give this product 10 stars, but that’s not available. Try it. I love it.

Did Not Work for Me
It did not work for me. My hair felt heavy, dull, and lifeless. I have natural, healthy hair, but I was looking for a product that would protect it. I am not sure if it really protects against heat from blow dryers and flat irons. I have used it on both damp and dry hair; I applied a normal amount and also tried using less, but the result it leaves is not favorable. Fortunately, I bought the small size, so the loss was not significant. I will not repurchase it, and I do not recommend it.

Drying!!
I don't even know how to explain how this works on my hair. I have dry, chemically relaxed hair. I use this sparingly and the results are soft, bouncy, DRY, BRITTLE hair. Huh? I have no idea how one heat protectant manages those results on one head. It's like it sucks all of the moisture out of my hair, like a desiccant. The soft, bouncy results are not worth the dry brittleness. I've tried it alone and with my new favorite leave in and heat protectant (Sol De Janeiro leave in and hair oil) and almost same results, slightly less dry when used with SDJ but not as moisturized as using SDJ alone. I feel like if I keep trying to make this heat bounce work it'll go the same way the k18 hair mask did for me-dry brittle hair that eventually started breaking. I'm over k18 and bond builders period. Sticking with old school proteins from now on. These companies are doing too much....
