It works. Huge Container.
I have been using purple shampoos and conditioners as well as box toners for nearly 20 years so I have tried quite a few. I bleach my hair at home near platinum color, and my hair is naturally brunette. I have finally found a box bleach that I can get from a regular department store that works then I will use a box toner to remove the brassiness. Then when the box starts to wear off or periodically I will use the shampoos and conditioners. Prior to this I was using salon quality bleaching products. (I still will use salon quality bleach if I am going to be putting in highlights.). This is actually a very large container of conditioner. The price around $60 seemed like a lot to me, but once I saw how big the container was this is going to go a very long way. I've actually never had a canister this large in a product for hair so there is quite a bit here. You also don't need that much, and I saturated my hair which goes down to the middle of my back without using too much then I combed it through with my shower comb. I let it sit in for a couple of minutes (probably about 3 minutes) then I rinsed it out. I didn't want to use any other conditioning products so I could see how moisturizing it was. It is pretty moisturizing which is not common even in purple conditioners. It's not amazingly conditioning but it is conditioning. But the conditioning texture is different and hard to describe. It's not like a super soft, smooth condition, it's sort of a sleek and texturized condition. It is a little bit thickerand definitely like a mask. Make sure you really scrub it around to get it to activate in your hair. You also need to rinse it more than a regular conditioner or you might get out of the shower and notice there is a bit left on your hair in spots. Once my hair was dried I could see it did a good job with getting out the brass. The second time was even more My bangs are pretty much complete Platinum color and there was a tinge of lavender. But not enough for it to look purple it just looked the ashy platinum color. When I use it again I might try to avoid that area since it is the lightest and the brass usually is sitting on the top root area. Another thing I like to do with purple conditioners is once I get it on my hair I will add in my favorite conditioner to have a little more moisture while it is sitting in there. This works for me and I appreciate it.

Clean Bright hair

Very Pigmented
I am no stranger when it comes to using purple conditioners like this. I have been bleaching my hair for about 2 decades now and I have learned that these maintenance purple hair masks are a must when it comes to keeping your blondes looking fresh and brass free. After a while your hair starts to take on yellow and brassy tones to it, which does not look good on my skin complexion at all. I use these types of products every other week as maintenance. Out of all the other types and brands I have used, this one is definitely the most concentrated. It is a very deep dark purple. It spreads really far and you don't have to use much at all in order to get complete and thorough coverage. This is an extremely moisturizing treatment. Most of the other purple hair masks, shampoos, and conditioners seem to dry my hair out over time but this one is extremely hydrating. I didn't even feel like I had to use any type of conditioner or even any leave in conditioner after doing this treatment. It feels like salon quality. I followed the recommended leave in time of 5 minutes. As you can see in my pictures, this is definitely effective. It took out a lot of the brassy tones from my hair and left it a beautiful natural blonde color this blonde color. I was a little hesitant on leaving it in for theother optional 10 minute time because I didn't know whether or not this would leave my hair gray tinted or purple colored like some of the purple masks can do. I have absolutely no issues with my hair looking gray or purple though so next time I do it I will leave it on for even longer. Some of the other reviewers mentioned that this stuff is extremely strong smelling. I do have to concur. If you are sensitive to highly scented products this might not sit very well with you. I really like it, however, and it even hangs around in my hair way after using it. It smells wonderful. I was a little leery of the price because this is definitely less affordable than other brands but this container stretches stretches far and is way more concentrated and more nourishing for your hair than all the other types I have tried so I think it is justified.

Love it - with a couple of warnings
This is a review for the 19 Hair Mask Pro Silver for All Blonde Shades I absolutely love this hair mask and the 19 Hair Shampoo but do have some warnings. The first is that I got the shampoo and this together and the shampoo came loose in a padded envelope and it had leaked - not very much but it made an an absolute mess. The purple is dark and left a big stain on everything it touched. The mask had not leaked but close… Because of this, I was a little concerned about putting it on my hair. I have dark brown hair with a lot of gray mixed in. I am lucky my gray is naturally more silver than it is steal gray or yellow. Even so, I was eager to try one of these type masks and shampoos since it says it would make my hair more shimmery; and it did. If you have an issue with your hair being brassy or have too much yellow, this will definitely makes your grays more silver and tone down any yellow. I went to my hairdresser to have her use it on me the first time, because I was concerned it might turn my hair purple. It did not. My hair was incredibly shiny and the silver was so pretty I got compliments on the street as I walked back to my car - it’s that pretty. My hairdresser said it looked and felt like it had the kind of sheen you get from a cellophane hair treatment. My hair was also very, very soft. But here are a couple of warnings from my hairdresser and from me. You probably shouldn’t use this mask or the shampoo more than once or twice a week or your hair might retain some of the purple. If you recently had your hair bleached and/or have porous hair, you might also end up with an unwanted purple tint. Lastly, wear gloves when you wash your hair when you apply this because you can stain your nails. So, that being said, I loved this mask and their shampoo with the warnings above. My only critique would be the smell. It didn’t bother me that much but when she first put it on my hair we both thought it smelled like someone was doing laundry - it has that kind of a bleach/clean smell. Not unpleasant to me but it may be to some. Lastly - I have thick, coarse hair that I like to wear in beach waves. This mask and the shampoo made my hair so soft it didn’t hold the beach curls more than a few days. For me the look and feel of my hair made it worth the tradeoff.

Strong perfume scent
I’m 40 years old and have been bleaching or lightening my hair for over 20 years. This is an excellent toning mask! It left my brassy blonde lightly toned, left no purple hue behind and added a touch of hydration. The smell is horrendous and I felt like it lingered for hours. However, I’ve never used a toning product that didn’t smell gross 🤷🏼♀️ I do use this in two steps. At first I just apply it to my roots and let that sit for a few minutes. Then I pull the product down towards my ends for a minute more. This ensures I get a nice tone without my lotus ends soaking up too much purple. Is it expensive? Yes Will it last a long time? Yes I’m would I recommend this? Yes is your budget allows. But, I wouldnt save up to splurge on it since it’s not life changing.
For my fine hair....this was just a mess. Although it definitely has defining purple color, it is literally a globby mess to apply and get off....and after I was done it felt like my hair was weighed down and coated. Did not work for me at all.

Very moisturizing but scent is strong and long lasting
I was surprised by the mask. I ordered it because I have a lot of white hair. As you can see from the picture, I have curly black hair. I was very impressed how moisturized this mask left my curls. I also enjoyed that once opened, you have 24 months before needing to through it out. The scent was a bit strong. After rinsing the mask out, applied 2 leave-in conditioner and a gel my hair still had the mask scent. I even woke up in the middle of the night smelling the scent of the mask. Personally I'm not a fan of this and it's my only complaint. Other than this, this mask was amazing on my curls

This really worked with taking away all the yellow and brassy tones in my hair. I love the color that this product has made my hair after using it. The container is large. The hair mask is thick but can easily saturate onto semi wet hair. I left this on for 10 minutes and it is just amazing. Yes, the product can stain and stained my hands a bit because I did not use gloves. I am super happy with the outcome. This is good stuff! Also, this did not feel drying on my chemically damaged hair strands. My hair feels smooth. The scent is nice. Almost reminds me of a salon smell minus the chemical scent.

The 19 Hair Mask Pro Silver for All Blonde Shades is a rich thick deep purple conditioner that comes in a big plastic jar. A little goes a long way. Professional quality
This has a great little scent and is easy to use with straight-forward directions. This does a great job at helping my hair tone set with a nice color rather than appearing yellow or orange. Even when the highlighting job isn’t at its best, resulting in a more orange tone, this is able to help my hair tone into a more natural looking blonde. This is pricey, but you get a lot for what you buy in the huge container and, because it does such a professional job at toning the hair, I find it to be a worthy investment.

Bedazzling and ever blondalicious?

I have gone through a lot of purple shampoo and mask over the past 15 or so years. I can honestly say this one of the best ones I've used. It left my hair so very soft and shimmery, a word of caution though, it did turn my hair purple briefly but I don't mind and it washed out after a few washes. Just do a test strip first to see how it will react to your hair but in my case I defiantly left it on too long.

I'm a stylist and I'd say at least 50% of the time (maybe more) when a client comes to me wanting to be icier, all they need is purple shampoo/conditioner and a proper regimen for using it. This is a great product for giving them a quick brightening session without often having to break out any lightener at all. 20 minutes with some of this conditioner and voila! Soft, shimmery, brightened blonde with nary a bleach brush in sight. I do suggest leaving this on for at least 15-20 minutes so it can do its best work, but overall it's a great product that will definitely help dial down the brassiness so you can be your best Elsa-self. Recommended!

Really Does a Great Job of Eliminating Yellow/Brassy Colors
This is a great mask that really does an impressive job of removing the yellow and brassy tones in my hair, causing it to be evenly toned. Its easy to apply/rinse from hair. My hair is left soft and moisturized after using 19 Hair Mask. I did notice my natural waves weren't quite as wavy as usual after doing a mask treatment. That's not a 'deal breaker' for me; I wouldn't not use this because of the waves. The container is huge and will last me for quite some time. I do recommend this product. It really does a great job of getting rid of the yellow/brassy colors. My overall rating is 4.5 stars. (can't do a 1/2 star rating)

Cancels brassy tones without drying hair
Purple shampoo is a must for blond balyage/ highlights. It cancels out brassy tones restoring the hair color to the color it was bleached too. The longer you let it sit the more of a silver color you’ll get. The thing I find from these shampoos and conditioners is that they dry my hair out which is why I really love the purple hair mask. It gets the job done without drying my hair. A little bit of it goes a long way. So it will last you a long time.

Works really well, just not fond of the scent
I love how this works in my highlighted blonde hair. The product is super dark purple and I like that it is a conditioner. Other purple products I’ve tried are usually shampoo, so it’s nice to find a hair conditioner. It is quite thick as others have pointed out, so I usually add a little water once I work the conditioner through my hair. I leave it on while I’m showering and shaving. It works really well to remove the brassy/orange from my hair and gives me that “silver” look that I strive for!!! The only thing disappointing is the scent. It’s not horrible, but not exactly what I find pleasant. It is a bit of a stinky perfume smell. I usually prefer coconut/tropic/fruity scent and would have given this a 5-star rating if I liked the smell better. A lot of people will like the scent. It is very similar to what you smell when you walk into a hair salon. The scent stays in your hair. I could even smell it the next morning after using it the previous morning. Unfortunately, that isn’t a good thing for me because I don’t like the smell. I would have preferred less or even no scent instead of the perfume smell. I think this product is very effective and worth the money for the quality of the product. I just wish I loved the smell, so it has been a little disspointing.

Good For Blonde and Grey
This purple conditioning mask is helpful with gray and blonde hair, whether it's natural or helped along little bit by being dyed. Helps to maintain the color and counter any brassiness. What I don't like about it is that it has a strong perfumey smell that I simply don't like, and triggers an allergic reaction for my spouse.

Mixed Results
I was leery about trying this because the price is so incredibly high. Yes, the tub is quite large, but paying $60+ (and I think the price has even increased by a dollar or two in the past couple of weeks) for a product like this is very far out of my comfort zone. The one reason that I wanted to go ahead and try it was because I figured that something this expensive must be effective. So, does it deliver good results? Yes and no. It is quite pigmented and very, very thick and globby, so it does take some effort to get it to spread evenly throughout my hair. The scent is very perfumey and it is strong, but stops just shy of being overwhelming. I am someone who is sensitive to fragrances, and this goes right up to the line of being almost too much for me. As a conditioner, it's not bad. I have thick, coarse hair, and this doesn't weigh it down. In fact, I find that it gives me a decent amount of body and movement. For things like hydration and detangling, though, it could be better. As for the purple/toning aspect of this, it does work *but* the results are not consistent. It will tone one section of hair while not doing a thing for the section next to it, and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for it - I'll take pains to make sure everything is evenly coated and saturated, I'll let it sit on my hair for a pretty long time, but regardless of what I try, this just will not deliver uniform results. So, if I'm going to pay this amount of money for a hair product, it had better really deliver. After trying this several times, the perfumey fragrance, the texture, and the fact that the results are disappointing have led me to conclude that this just isn't worth the money.

Like using purple glue in your hair
My daughter has white blond hair and my mother's hair is white so I thought this would be good for them. At $60/tub, I figured this must be great stuff. First, the product came unsealed. No ring around the cap and not sealed internally. This always makes me leery. Second, it is more solid than liquid. It is like glue (or old paint) that has been left out. My daughter took one look and said 'do I have to?' My mom looked at it and said 'no thanks'. Considering there is no seal and how thick it is, I'm guessing it dried out and tossing it.
