I recently ran out of this and chose to get a cheaper alternative off of amazon, which was a big mistake. A few days later I came back to purchase this for the second time. I will not stray again. It is non-greasy like the cheaper alternatives. The smell is incredible (mix of cologne and masculine outdoors).
I've purchased various beard balms, pomades, and oils for my husband. This by far is my favorite scent! I purchased it originally at a holiday fair pre-covid and it lasted forever but he was almost out. The brand Captain Fawcett's can be purchased on their website for a little bit cheaper but it's in British pounds and after shipping and what not, Amazon's markup is about the same price. But again, cannot stress enough, LOVE this scent. Oh yeah, and my husband (who actually wears this on his face) likes it too!
The fragrance is reminiscent of visiting classic barber shops as a child. The creaming balm is legit too. I use on my goatee and chops and as an aftershave. Been using Amish for years wanted to try something different. I'm always skeptical whey I stray from my regular because there is alot of crap on the market. This stuff did not disappoint. I think I may be switching to Fawcett for awhile.
