Lactic acid toner with alcohol
The Comfort Zone Sublime Skin Micropeel Lotion is essentially a lactic acid toner exfoliant that helps with gently exfoliating dead skin cells on the dermis. I'm not particularly fond of the formula since there's so many great exfoliants in the market that don't use alcohol as a carrier and with a more affordable price. Really like it
I am not sure if it being called a lotion is supposed to be another term for essence but that's more of how I see this product to be- an essence/toner type of product. So that's a little confusing. Aside from that, I am actually loving this. I love that it's fragrance free and it is making complexion look great. It gives a glow to my skin...the ideal type of radiant glow and not an oily look. In fact, it's helpful at keeping my oily areas in-check. It's benefiting the texture of my skin, as well. Much more smooth feeling. It has great ingredients, though it does contain alcohol denat which might not be ideal for everyone. I am happy overall and would definitely get this again!

gentle chemical exfoliation
I've used this micropeel lotion for a couple of days, and am really liking it so far. I always use some kind of acid or resurfacing product in the morning as the first step after cleansing. This lotion (which has the look and texture of a toner) uses lactic acid as a chemical exfoliant, so it's perfect to rotate with my glycolic acid and other types of acid toners each morning. It goes on easily (I use a cotton pad) without any skin reactivity for me, but just adding the lactic acid to create some gentle exfoliation. I think this will be a nice addition to the products that I'm already using.

Great for prepping skin..
This product is ok. What I noticed, soft glowing skin. In conjunction with my serums and skincare Something to note. When using this product it says to avoid the sun and use sun screen. The cons: this doesn’t effect the product but the cap is a bit cumbersome. It fell off and it appears to be what looks like a water bottle cap. No biggie, just annoying. The second con, is the smell. It does smell a little like alcohol, but it doesn’t burn. Overall, I’m satisfied.

This micropeel lotion feels like a toner and goes on very smoothly on my skin. I've been using for a few weeks and my skin does seem to be smoother. I have sensitive skin and this is very gentle and has caused no issues.

Truly a toner but works great
I'm not sure why they call this a lotion, it's really more of a toner. It's as thick as water, nowhere near a lotion but that being said, it is a great lactic acid toner. It truly evens out your skin and gives you a micropeel at home in one easy step. It's also a really big bottle, I definitely think it's a good value compared to other similar products with lactic acid. It will last a long time. Highly recommend.

Makes my skin glow!
This seems to be really gentle on my skin and it’s making it glow! I only used it a few times a week, after cleansing and toning. It comes out looking like a serum. I apply it using a cotton pad and wipe it all over my face and neck, even my décolletage. By morning, my skin is smooth, soft, and more radiant. I can’t wait to see what it does long-term. It has lactic acid in it, but there’s no acidic smell. It does make me wonder how much acid is in here if it has no scent… I absolutely love this brand and use a lot of their creams and serums. If you like Davines hair products, you’ll love [comfort zone] because it’s the same people!! Hope this helps. 😁

Nice Looks, Feel Refreshing
My skin feels refreshed and soft. The whole presentation of this product shows that it’s an high end skin care product. The glass bottle is painted by the blue color, it does look nice, however it’s hard for me to see how much there is left in the bottle. It’s unscented, yet there is smell of cosmetics. I guess unscented does not mean scentless. It’s supposed to be a step before I put moisturizer, but I feel this product is enough when the season and climate is not drying your skin out.

Amazing for sensitive skin
I love this brand as all their products are very good quality, well made and effective. This face exfoliator comes in a nice basic packaging just like all their products but it works like a magic. I have dry and sensitive skin and this product works amazingly on my skin. It doesn’t have any fragrance which is great as a skincare product. I love how my skin becomes soft and hydrated after each use.

Like previous reviews have mentioned, this isn’t a lotion. The consistency is like water and it applies nicely on the skin with a cotton ball. It has a nice light scent and makes your skin look super glowy and hydrated. If you’re in the market for a toner, this is a great choice.

Lightweight gentle exfoliation
Love the feel of the container. It is a heavy metal bottle which helps protect the product itself and prevents it from being exposed to light. Contains lactic acid which is a lightweight and mild exfoliant, great for those with sensitive skin or using exfoliating acids for the first time. Does contained alcohol denat. So if that’s not your thing when it comes to skincare, something to be mindful of. The product is somewhat pricy for what it is, however I love that Comfort Zone is a certified B corporation, which means they treat their employees like real people and are committed to bettering the future of our planet. Fun micropeel product
I’ve never done a micropeel and was a little intimidated. The name just makes me think of silence of the lambs. But whatever, I was feeling brave and gave it a try. I don’t know that lotion is quite the word I’d use. It doesn’t feel like a lotion. It goes on with a cotton pad and made my skin feel almost a little raw - not quite irritated, but just a little vulnerable. I’m not sure if everyone’s skin reacts that way, because I do have pretty sensitive skin. Followed up with other products my skin felt great, but on its own I would t consider it to be much of a moisturizer. Still, I’d buy it again.

Works well for my sensitive skin...
I have extremely sensitive skin, but when I did a patch test with this Comfort Zone Sublime Skin Micropeel Lotion I had no issues. The formula has a thin consistency. It is a cross between a liquid and a lotion. It sinks into the skin quickly. I felt a little tingling, but it did not cause any redness or irritation or peeling of my skin. I definitely noticed a brightening the next day, and my skin felt smoother. Also, my skincare seemed to work so much better after using this formula.

Excellent Exfoliating Toner
I love this [ Comfort Zone ] Sublime Skin Micropeel Lotion. This is a very lightweight and fast absorbing toner. It leaves my skin so clean and refreshed. Some micropeel toners are a bit irritating for me, but this one is totally fine. It works as great as exfoliating pads but the cost is lower. Highly recommended!

Face Lotion

Nice toner
When I ordered this product, I wasn't expecting this lotion. I didn't think it would be a toner, but I do like the product anyway. I use it after cleansing my face and neck to exfoliate my skin. This is NOT a lotion, despite the description, it is a TONER
Don't be fooled by the product description. This is not a lotion. It is a toner. With that out of the way, it's a fine toner. It comes nicely packaged and protected. The toner is in a tall and thick glass bottle with a small twist-off cap under a larger pull-off cap. The toner is liquidy, clear, and has a slight alcohol scent. It applies to my skin nicely, makes it dewy and glowing, and feels refreshing. I follow it with a night moisturizer. This toner is not recommended for daytime use and the ingredients will make you skin more prone to sunburn. All in all... a fine toner.

This facial product works really well for my skin. I would consider it more of a toner than a lotion. The consistency is more like a toner. That is what I’m using it as. Refreshing toner - NOT LOTION
Despite how this product it is advertised, this is not a lotion but rather a toner. A toner is a product that you usually use to remove residue left over after cleansing. Toners usually fights against pollutants and refreshes your skin. This toner worked very well after deep facial cleansing. I don't recommend you use this product as a toner as that is not what it is it. As a toner this is an awesome product and leaves me feeling refreshed and moisturized. Highly recommend this toner.

Better options out there
If you're in the market for a lactic acid exfoliant, there are better options than Comfort Zone's Micropeel Lotion. Let me begin by noting that their use of the word "lotion" is very misleading. It's liquid and very much like a toner and must be applied using a cosmetic cotton pad or cotton ball. I purchased this product 2 times before researching similar products and ultimately purchasing one from a different brand. My choice to switch was driven in mostly by the fact that the ingredient list includes denatured alcohol. But also because inspire of the tingling, itching sensation I felt each time I applied it, after two bottles I didn't notice any real difference or improvement. At this price point, I expected better results. I have moved onto a much less expensive product that doesn't make my skin itch or tingle and has yielded noticeable results.

This feels like a toner, and is to be applied like one as well (put liquid on a cotton pad and swipe it across the face, pat dry then apply serum). It smells so heavily of alcohol I can't stand putting it on my face. I'm typically a fan of Comfort Zone, but this one doesn't check the boxes for me.

Is there a formula change?
I purchased Sublime Micropeel Lotion a few times from a Hot Springs Spa and I was happy with it. I decided to order through Amazon and strangely I am not getting the same results.
