RICH & NOURISHING OIL CREAM IS A GODSEND FOR DRY SKIN
2.12 oz jar [COMFORT ZONE] is a family-owned, Italian skincare line that stands out from the rest. I really can't say enough about their products and formulas, and already own 7 of them, which all work beautifully together. Their Sublime Skin line is marketed as anti-ageing but can be used by any age, especially for dry or sensitive skin needs. The formula includes ingredients to help with menopausal issues of thinning skin, extreme dryness, and loss of skin density. I'm only interested in the dryness factor and it alleviates that issue. What matters to me is if a product works well on my skin and delivers the desired results, regardless of the target consumer. This product does that. The dense, rich and nourishing oil cream can be used a.m. and/or p.m. and should be massaged into skin until completely absorbed. It works great in tandem with the Sublime Skin Essence toner and Sublime Skin Hydramemory Serum. The ingredient list includes several of the "usual suspects" of ingredients we typically find in moisturizers, along with shea butter/oil, plus arginine and tocopherol, which are sadly at the bottom of the list. It may not be my ideal ingredient list, and is softly fragranced (not my preference), but it still mostly works for me. My preference is actually their RENITE NOURISHING VITAMIN cream, which is quite emollient but thinner texture and produces more of my ideal finish, although this oil cream is still commendable. I'm not as thrilled with this product as some of their others because of the fragrance and overall ingredients and the individual order of them. The company's products are on the pricey side, but I've found them to worth every penny, although my recommendation for this moisturizer is a bit lower. So rich and hydrating, and cruelty-free, too!
I really love how this cream feels on my face! It is rich and thick, but creamy and smooth, and it makes my skin feel so soft. Since I have frequently sensitive skin, I usually try to avoid fragrance in skincare products, but this one doesn't seem to bother my skin. I know other reviewers found the scent overwhelming, but funnily enough, I love it! It has sweet and floral notes that I assume come secondarily from the ingredients. This is a new-to-me brand, but so far, I have really enjoyed using every [comfort zone] product I have tried. It seems to be a great company, focused on developing Earth-friendly skincare that uses the best of science AND nature to produce high-quality products that "help the skin’s ecosystem reach its optimal balance", according to their website. As a Certified B Corporation, they don't just care about profits, but also about our planet. It is our home, after all...our [comfort zone]. I love all that, but what I love best is that they are a completely, 100% cruelty-free company! They don't test their products OR their ingredients on animals, and they don't pay anybody else to do it, either. They actually stopped selling in mainland China to avoid compulsory animal testing, because, in their words, "[a]nimal testing does not align with our values". And if you've ever read one of my skincare reviews, you KNOW how much I love a company with ethics like that! This is a product I would consider purchasing again. It's expensive, but I think it might be worth paying a little more for. I do recommend it to anybody who can afford to experiment to find the products that work for them. It didn't hit me at first, but about 5 minutes after I applied this, I ended up with a headache and my skin started to itch. I did to a patch test on my wrist, but it took time for this one to react negatively. The scent is overwhelming and very floral. This would make a better perfume than face cream. The cream is very hydrating and if that fragrance could be toned down it would be well worth it. A Nice Overnight Mask With A Strong Soap Smell That Costs Way Too Much
This is a pretty thick and relatively heavy facial cream/moisturizer. It smells like a bar of soap and the scent is pretty strong. I'd rather have something unscented than something that smells like this. Aside from the scent, this is a really nice moisturizing cream. It goes on smooth, feels a little heavy like an overnight mask tends to and leaves the skin feeling great from the time it sinks, all night and until you take a shower or wash it off the next day. Because it is kind of heavy (they call it a "Skin Oil Cream"), it is not something I use every day nor would I recommend using it every day. It makes my skin feel weighed down and heavy if its used daily. The two big drawbacks to this product are the price and the scent. Aside from that, is is a really good product. If you want something like this with a much more reasonable price tag and similar feel and performance, I would recommend the "Peach Blossom Overnight Mask" made by "House of Dohwa". It's a Korean skin care company/product that is also available on Amazon. It costs less than $20 per ounce compared to $63 per ounce for this, doesn't have the soap smell, and feels incredible. This is a very nice product but you don't need to spend anywhere near what this product costs.

Thick moisturizer
I’m not big on fragrance on my face products, this doesn’t have any fragrance smell to it!. When I apply it, it takes a while for it to dry. Once it does dry, my face feels moisturized and doesn’t irritate my skin. . The directions say to use this day and night and I have, but my face definitely still feels moisturized in the morning. For the price of this I’m going to start using it once a day. I would say I don’t have terribly dry skin. I’m at a certain age and in my 20s and 30s I never used creams in my face because I hated the feeling I need to start taking better care of my skin.

Extremely moisturizing oil cream!
This is an amazing cream. It is very thick and moisturizing but does not feel heavy on the skin. I use it for my face and neck a couple times a week for dry skin. But my mom, who has thin skin from diabetes, loves to use it on her arms to help counter the very thin skin she has there.

Ultra rich moisturizer great for night time
This high end moisturizer has helped heal my peeling sore nose that I accidentally sunburned. It applies like a rich lotion and sets almost like an oil. Somehow it's slightly waxy in its texture which might be due to lanolin in the product. It is full of fragrance which can be a tricky thing for those with sensitive skin. I've used this in conjunction with a few of their other products and they seem to work very well together. I can't note any irritation to my own sensitive combination skin after using for two weeks. I wouldn't spend more than 50 on a specialty product personally and I can't say the price is worth it for this even as well as it worked.

does not feel heavy nor irritating
I have just recently started using this because the cold weather was making my skin very dry. I needed something deeply moisturizing and since this is an oil cream, I figured it would do the job. I personally prefer face creams that do not have added fragrances so that was the part about this cream that I disliked. It is to be expected from European products although I would have enjoyed this product more without the scent. Fragrance aside, I love how moisturizing this was on my skin. Often times when you think of a deeply moisturizing cream you think, heavy, however, this did not feel like that on my skin at all. In fact, it felt light and my skin felt comfortable with this. A little goes a long way so start with just a tiny amount first then add more as needed. I did not experience any breakouts, discomfort, or rashes after use. I am keeping this one for use during colder seasons, as it might be a bit much for hot summers where I live. Overall I quite enjoyed this face cream. This is made in Italy.

This Comfort Zone Sublime Skin Oil Cream is an amazing formula. It has an ingredient profile that works well with my sensitive and dry skin. It goes on like a cream that breaks down into a luminous oil. I massage it into my face and neck until it is absorbed. I put any excess product on the back of my hands. I know that this is expensive, but a little goes such a long way. I am willing to pay the price for good ingredients and excellent results.

Luxury Cream
I have no sticker shock with this product, and recognize that sometimes you get what you pay for. This is a luxury cream. In my opinion, it is on par with what would be its competitor, La Praire. When you want a good heavy cream, that gives excellent moisturizing and hydration, this is it. And more natural ingredients than its competitor! I find it to be a real treat for my face.

A wonderful cream.
This cream comes in a small glass jar with a screw off cap. The cream is white in color and has a subtle and very pleasant floral scent. The cream goes onto my skin exceptionally well and absorbs readily. It leaves my skin soft, supple and well moisturized but not greasy or slimy. I haven't noticed any issues with skin irritation or rashes. All in all... a wonderful cream.

Works very well for my dry skin, more fragrance than I need.
I like a heavy night cream for my dry skin and this really delivers for me. It feels wonderful on my skin and I wake in the morning with a smooth, soft face. It has really helped me beat back a peculiarly dry summer. I just wish this wasn’t so heavily fragranced. It didn’t add anything to the efficacy. I use it anyway but it could definitely be dialed down and still a great product.

Super Rich & Moisturizing
A super rich moisturizing cream that conditions the skin and feels lovely on the face. Best for those with normal to dry skin, especially those with dryer skin. Absorbs well and lasts all day. Though it's quite rich, it does not leave the skin feeling oily. Softens skin and leaves feeling smooth. Makes it more supple and elastic. Will diminish fine lines and it will also soften some of the deeper lines. The one thing that I am not thrilled about is the scent. A little bit strong smelling with a drugstore cosmetic scent. It will fade away, but it will take maybe 20 minutes or so. It doesn't bother me as much as it does some, but it is something to be aware of, especially for those who are sensitive to such scents. This is the only reason that I deducted one star.

Rich
In many ways, this is a very traditional old-school moisturizer. It reminds me of those hardcore Estee Lauder and Lancome overnight creams I used back in the 1980s - thick, rich and very occlusive. The main ingredient here is shea butter which gives the cream a very emollient and super nourishing feeling. It's ideal as a final step in your evening routine, as it will definitely lock in the other ingredients. Personally, I don't think it's appropriate for day because it really doesn't absorb completely, but instead sits on top of the skin and wouldn't work well under foundation. I've been using it in the evening layered over a lactic acid serum which leaves my face tingling. This cream does a great job counteracting some of the harsh effects of the acid and prevents redness and/or peeling. The combination has given my skin a nice dewy and refreshed glow. This line is being targeted to the older, menopausal crowd which seems appropriate. Not only does it harken back to an era of more opulent (and artificially fragranced) skincare, but it's ideal for aging skin that needs an extra boost of moisturization.

Love this paired with their Sublime nourishing oil for use at night. It is the perfect cream to use on top of the serum oil. As with the serum oil, this would be perfect if it weren't for the stronger fragrance. I dont think that much perfuming is needed for a product used on face. However, it is amazing for my 40 something dry skin.

Such nice ingredients, except for the fragrance
I was really excited to try this “Sublime” face cream especially because it is in a Shea Butter base and it is made in Italy. I figured it would be amazing and especially because of the steep price. I love the minimal packaging. So many fancy face creams of overpackaged with containers that cost more than the product its self. Not this product, it is in a simple paper box and lovely glass jar. Even though this feels fabulous on my skin, I was disappointed with the overwhelming perfumed scent. It is not an essential oil scent (which I would have loved), but instead is a very powdery-womans fragrance smell. It might be fine for a body cream if you like this kind of scent, but I don’t want to put that much perfume on the skin of my face (plus I don’t think it’s good for the skin). I know a lot of women will like this product. It is very special, but you have to really like a strong perfume smell to enjoy this product. Unfortunately it isn’t something I’m fond of. I did give it a higher rating because it is a very nice cream (if it wasn’t for the strong scent).

Not for everyone
I really wanted to like this, but with a mix of combination skin, it had my face feeling greasy by morning time. It looks like a gel mold mixed with chalk. Didn't notice any smell and didn't irritate the skin. Price is a bit high, but it doesn't take a lot of product to fully get your face covered.

Strong scent
I'm a perfume and fragrance kinda girl, I love all things scented. Or, well, I should rephrase that. I love MOST things scented. The scent in this cream is not one that I'm impressed with. It's too strong and overbearing. I just don't like it. I find myself reaching for my $8 jar of cream over this one, strictly due to scent. Fragrance aside, if you can tolerate it, this is a very moisturizing cream. It would've been 5 stars for me, but I can't get down with the overbearing scent.

Pleasant Texture But Overly Strong Fragrance, Irritated My Sensitive Skin & Got Headache (2.5 Stars)
This [ comfort zone ] Sublime Skin Oil Redensifying and Nourishing Face Cream has a terribly strong and unpleasant fragrance that I find really off putting. This may be the strongest smelling cream I’ve ever tried as the scent actually lingers in the air simply from opening the container to smell it and closing it right away. And the smell intensified, of course, when I actually applied a small amount to my face. I only applied the cream once, and it has a silky texture that’s pleasant. My skin absorbed it quickly and it didn’t leave a greasy residue. But my skin started stinging and burning immediately after applying it, and shortly after it started getting prickly too. At that point, I immediately washed it off to avoid blisters or bumps. The smell gave me a headache in just that short time and from lingering in the air. I’m 50+ and have dry and sensitive skin. I can also be sensitive to some fragrance, while others aren’t an issue. Nothing in the ingredient list stands out as a strong irritant except the fragrance, which rates “poor” by Paula’s Choice and high risk by EWG. I can’t tolerate this cream, so I can’t fully evaluate it. But I don’t recommend it for anyone with sensitive skin or who doesn’t tolerate or like heavy fragrance. 2.5 stars.
