The Curaprox Easy Electric Toothbrush is the most effective toothbrush I have ever used. You can see the powerful sway of the bristles when running it at full power. The handle feels nice & smooth in the hand. The negative is that they only give you one brush head, and replacement heads are too expensive, at $25 for a two-pack.
I am Oral-B and Sonicare, but was looking for another electric toothbrush. This one even cleans between the teeth. The vibration is stronger but not irritating like Sonicare.
At the current price of $129.99, this hydrosonic toothbrush is pricey and comparable in price to the higher end versions of other electric toothbrushes (such as Philips Sonicare) with bells and whistles. However, this toothbrush is basic but excellent. It comes with only one tiny soft brush head to attach to the wand, a case, an A/C adapter, USB type cable permanently attached to its charging base, and a limited instruction manual. The case has enough room to store the brush wand and the toothbrush head. Charging it is a matter of plugging in the USB base to a power source with or without the supplied A/C adapter. My unit came mostly charged, so it was ready within 15 minutes. As for regular operation, the tiny brush head is easy to install. All I had to do was push it down over the protrusion. There are three modes of operation called (in the book) start, clean, and smile. What I learned is that it is slow, medium, and fast speed. The first two speeds are useless to me but the fast speed is excellent. To operate, I just press the on/off button once. To switch modes, I "press hold" the button until it switches. It is a super basic and super simple one button operation. This brush operates like the others I tried in the sense that there is a two-minute cleaning cycle with a beep, beep, beep pause every 30 seconds to let the user know to switch to another of the four quadrants of one's mouth. I really love how well this brush cleans, how easily the small head reaches all areas of my mouth and is better at getting between the teeth, and how clean my mouth feels when done. What I do not like is that for this price it does not include extra brush heads. I feel it should have come with at least three replacement brush heads. I also do not like the manual. The instructions include a QR code so that someone without a Smartphone (such as me) or tablet will not be able to access the cleaning video. At least a URL should be provided. I was able to use my Samsung Galaxy Tab's QR reader but not everyone has this. These are the only two reasons I took off one star. In summary, I have a mini toothbrush testing lab in my house and I switch among six electric toothbrushes, including this one. I consider this one the absolute best and am truly shocked at how clean my mouth feels and this brush's reach.
This might be one of the best and strongest Sonic / Hydrosonic toothbrush I have ever used, it's powerful up to 84,000 brush strokes per minute, but even for sensitive teeth it has a starter mode, the start mode is 44,000 brush strokes per minute, Mode 2 (clean) is 64,000, and Mode 3 (smile) is 84,000!!!, you can also really see the bristle swing on this toothbrush, my teeth feel clean and spotless after brushing with this toothbrush, mode 3 was a bit intense though, I could handle mode 1 and 2 fine, no teeth irritation or bleeding gums. The toothbrush is super easy to use, a single button to turn it on / off, long press the button to switch modes, the toothbrush will also remember the last used mode, it has the 'smart timer' feature, 30 second pauses, 2 minute warning and will turn off at 4 minutes, this feature I like since sometimes I often need to brush longer then 2 minutes, it's low noise as-well, the build quality feels nice, the handle has grooves through it, so it is easy to maneuver and didn't feel slippery. I was a bit disappointed this toothbrush only included one brush head, I do really like the design of the brush head, the neck is long and is arched at 10 degrees for better reach and precise control, the bristles are nice and soft, and the bristle patch is more rounded allowing to brush individual teeth, the center bristles are a bit lower than the outer bristles, on the back of the brush head it has a rubber coating which is nice in case you touch a tooth with the backside, replacements brushheads are available on Amazon for $24.95 (at time of this review) for a two pack. For charging this kit includes a USB Wall charger (5v, 0.6A), and a nice stable weighted charging dock that uses induction charging, just sit the toothbrush on it and done, or you can charge it every 15 days since that's about how long the battery should last when brushing 4 minutes a day (two minutes twice a day), the kit also includes a travel case that can hold the toothbrush and a brush head. Overall I highly recommend, it is a bit pricey, 3 modes, plenty of power, and a lower power mode for sensitive teeth, unique bristle shape and curved brush head, wireless induction charging, includes a charger, 15 day battery life, travel case.
I've used this toothbrush for over a year now. I am a loyal fan of the Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro, the big brother to this one you could say. It has more power settings and comes with more types of brush heads. That being said, I also LOVE the Easy. I keep it in the shower so I don't have to move my Pro back and forth. I've worked my way up to the 3rd power setting and it works perfectly for me. I've used Sonicare and Oral-B, all the big names and this cleans night and day better than any of them. I think it's the bristles - they are just better than any other brush. People complain about the price of brush heads, but I think you have to remember they are designed and MADE in Switzerland - and the quality shows. You get what you pay for, and in my case that's better results, no cavities, and better care of my teeth between dental cleanings. If I were getting ONE power toothbrush, I'd go with the Hydrosonic Pro, but this one is a great second option to have for the shower, or I recommend it to my grandma, parents, etc. who don't need more power levels to worry about and will only ever use one brush head anyways.

This electric toothbrush is aesthetically pleasing. The brush head has a nice shape that makes it easy to reach all teeth. The bristles are very soft and comfortable. But for me, the vibration doesn't feel powerful enough and the differences between strength levels are hardly noticeable. I don't think it cleans as well as my other brushes. I'm also not impressed by its battery. Each charge only lasts less than a week.
I’ve never dealt with such a loud toothbrush!! I couldn’t believe how loud this brush is, the noise itself vibrates my head, and I don’t feel as if my teeth get cleaned as well as a manual brush. I used this twice then threw it away.

I kid you not, this has helped me manage my dental hygiene so much. I have a really hard time brushing my teeth long enough or even remembering to do it in the first place but this has really helped me get through this bizarre hump. I highly recommend this brush, quick charges, soft bristles, and doesn't vibrate so hard it's uncomfortable.
This tooth brush is gentle, yet does an exceptional job of daily cleaning. The “Sensitive” brush head is perfect for those individuals that suffer from gum recession. The size of the brush head is also affective for brushing all areas of the mouth. The travel case is very well made and isn’t cheap in quality. I’ve been using this tooth brush handle for well over two years and absolutely love it! I am a type 1 diabetic too, and this electric toothbrush is best for my needs.

When I saw the price, I wondered if it was really worth it. I think it is, a lot of vibration goes through this toothbrush. There are three adjustable levels and some neat automatic features. Every 30 seconds there is a pause to let you know you can move on to a new quadrant in your mouth. After two minutes there is a longer pause. The cycle continues and after 4 minutes the toothbrush turns off. The toothbrush head is easy to take in and out by pulling or pushing it, there is no release mechanism. Once the brush head is on, it stays on really well, even with the amount of vibration that the toothbrush makes.

so many options out there for these vibrating brushes. We've had the oral care kind for years and have been fine with using that brand, but saw this and thought why not...for travelling. Well...the wife loves it so much that she is now using this as her primary brush. She loves the highest setting and she says it feels like it does a better job. So now we have to pick up some additional brushes...which aren't cheap...but then again...maybe spend a little bit more upfront on the preventive side rather than dealing with cavities and/or teeth extraction...so I guess we can look at this as an investment down the road. either way...very good product...a bit pricey...but so far its worth it.
I have tried several electric toothbrushes over the years. This is a better brush than the others that have the brand named you would recognize. I like the brush shape in particular as it has a profile that tickles my gums less than the others. As far as cleaning effectiveness goes, this is as good or better than others. The way I see it, if it takes less space and tickles less its a winner!
This is a nice little electric toothbrush. It is worth the money in my opinion.
Extremely efficient electric toothbrush. I have used a few popular brands and this one gets my teeth feeling the most clean and slippery smooth. I appreciate this toothbrush comes with a ultra soft bristled head as I do have some receding gum lines that I need something on the softer side for. This toothbrush also comes with a easy to use charger that works by just placing the toothbrush so it stands on the little nub. It also comes with a travel case that is somewhat basic but gets the job done. It is a solid plastic case with plastic hinges and clasp. The toothbrush itself has only one button that turns it on and changes the setting based on how long you press it. It has three settings that basically are just slow, medium, and high vibration. At the highest it feels like it almost tickles the gums a bit. Very strange feeling but cleans the teeth well!
This is definitely one of the better sonic toothbrushes out there. There are three speeds and none of those silly modes like whitening and massaging. There is the thirty second pause and two minute run timer. The one included (small) brush head has a slight curve to it and the bristles are very soft. The body feels solid and hefty. Included is a travel case and charging base/cable/A/C adapter. I found this toothbrush to be very effective and cleans very well. The package says printed in Switzerland, no mention of manufacture, but listing does say Swiss made.
My sonic kind of rattles my teeth a bit -- it has a nice buzzer sound to tell me if I am brushing too hard but the vibration and noise is like an irritating buzzard. The Curapox somehow cleans more deeply with a less irritating vibration. less noise, and my teeth do not get rattled while I am using it. I like that this comes with a travel case - I had to buy a separate travel case for my Sonic. The engineering on this toothbrush is way better than other rechargeable toothbrushes I have tried and certainly better than my Sonic Care. Heads on these toothbrushes, in general, last a long time for me and when i searched for the cost of replacement it surprised me to find it is almost 3 times as expensive for this product (25$ for two heads) compared with my sonic at 8 heads for about $42.00. Still ...given the heads on my sonic last 4-6 months, the extra cost per year doesn't seem that bad. I am hoping for the same longevity on this toothbrush and so far, so good.
This toothbrush is supper powerful and does a great job. It really gets your teeth clean. My dentist even complimented by dental hygiene during my last visit - after using this brush for a month. I like this brush better than my Oral B that it replaced. This one seems to have a more effective motion and cleans better between my teeth. I hate the replacement brushes are a bit expensive, but I will continue to buy them and use the brush because of the excellent results.
I have had a sonicare in the past. This is much strong better built. The brissels are softer and smaller head.
Really like this tooth brush. It works really well and is wellmade. It's an easy handheld without all the fuss.
This is one of the best electric toothbrushes I've used. Very powerful yet gentle. It isn't harsh on my gums. Cleans really good. Stays charged long. My only issue is the price. Is it worth $129? Maybe if it came with an extra head or 2. It only comes with 1 and replacement heads are $25 for 2.
I like that this has the soft sensitive brush head as I have gum disease. This has three speeds, to me even the low speed is pretty intense for sensitive gums. The high speed is crazy fast, I took the brush out of my mouth to try to reposition it and flung toothpaste all over, so be mindful of this. I do feel that the price is high for only getting one brush head. Even one extra would've been better. It is nice overall though.
This thing cleans REALLY well. I was skeptical as I have used electric toothbrushes for some time since I tend to brush too hard. This has 3 modes. I use it pretty much only on the second mode. The biggest issue is that there is a quadrant of my mouth- the upper inside right side, that I can’t get brushed without my eyes watering and powering through the tickles. The vibration is super fast and high which is why it cleans to amazingly well. Like I brushed with a normal brush and used this and tons of food came out from around and between my teeth. It is super efficient. But it is so darn ticklish it makes it really hard to brush. The highest speed is a no go for me like can’t even get it in my mouth it’s so ticklish. So overall it’s amazing at what it is intended to do. But the tickle factor is like an 80 out of 100.
I have used many different electric toothbrushes over the years. This is by far the most expensive one I've used and It does clean exceptionally well. I feel like it cleans similarly to a professional cleaning from a dentist. It alerts you when to move to the next quadrant of your mouth and it runs for 4 minutes, which is 2 minutes longer than my other similar toothbrushes so I suppose you're meant to do each quadrant twice? It has 3 cleaning modes. There's no indicator showing you which mode you're using but it's pretty easy to tell them apart because they are all very different. It comes with a travel case that can hold the toothbrush base and 2 heads, although it only comes with one head. I wish the case was designed a little differently so it could hold the toothbrush fully assembled. It would also be nice if it came with at least one replacement head. This is a premium product with a high price tag and replacement heads are expensive too. This toothbrush cleans very well but it is hard for me to justify the high price tag , especially when factoring in the cost of replacement brushes which would need to be purchased for years to come.
This is the most expensive toothbrush I have and so far is the best. I can tell that my teeth is very clean after using it. It comes with a travel case, charger and a brush head. Wish it came with two brush heads for the price. Really good brushing because it very strong yet it’s not damaging my gums because some of the electric brushes I’ve tried are too strong that makes my gums bleed. This is a really good product that I may consider reordering.
I've had an older model Oral B that I've gotten my money's worth from, and this one exceeds that in every way. The speeds and cleaning ability is fantastic. The only drawback that I can see is that the brush heads are similarly expensive and searching for aftermarket ones doesn't yield clear results, and that long-term cost for heads might give the advantage to the better-known brands. Recommended with reservations.
I'm used to using a Spin Brush so my comparison is the best but I really like how small the head is and how it's able to fit in areas that make me feel comfortable with removing plaque. I'd brush my teeth for at least 5min adding additional paste bc i never felt totally clean. It's also pretty gentle on my teeth as well which is a huge plus since I suffer from extreme sensitivity
It’s been a while since I had an electric toothbrush, so I may not remember the experience from others I’ve used, but the overwhelming sound of the vibrations from this sonic toothbrush was nothing like I recall ever feeling (or hearing) before. It buzzed so loudly against my teeth, and it was very loud in my inner ear. I wasn’t sure if my husband could hear the magnitude of the vibrations, but I worried it might wake him up! My daughter ended up using it as well, and she seemed to really enjoy the experience. It also didn’t seem as loud from an outsider perspective, but it was not quiet either. I didn’t use it for very long - a few days maybe, so I cannot speak to its cleaning power overall. I did have a clean feeling mouth after those uses, but nothing notable. Had I used it for more days, I may have had a different view point, but the noise was just too much for me. I’m kind of glad I didn’t love it, because the refill heads are quite pricey in my opinion.
This is a cute toothbrush. Its lightweight and the case that it comes with isn't bulky. It fits two brush heads plus the handle. The vibrations are strong and it has 3 settings. I appreciate the 30 sec warnings to know when to switch to the next quadrant. Id recommend this toothbrush.
