I get dry eczema on my face (worst on upper lid platform and lash line), but I get wet (weeping) eczema on the front of my neck and on my arms. Both get pretty inflamed and irritated to where water hurts like a (insert word of choice here). For those who have experienced dry and wet eczema, you know how each is high maintenance in its own way...Which is why it's amazing that this cream works for both! Totally worth it! Tube size (i.e., no cap and tube neck/head): - Length: ~4.25" - Width: ~0.75" (top) to ~1.15" (bottom) Pros: - almost instantly soothing and hydrating - helps reduce puffiness (from dry eczema - for me) - helps reduce redness/inflammation - safe for eye area (from my experience at least) - does not sting skin at all - no scent - dries with a finish closer to soft touch (which is why it worked for my wet eczema too) - easy and quick to apply (spreads evenly with little effort and without pre-treatment) - absorbs quickly - great for people who hate that "oily" cream feeling but need more hydration than a lotion can provide Cons: - hydrates for up to 3 hours (but my eczema is abnormally severe) - small tube (but hey! comfort is priceless right? Also the small size makes it a good travel buddy) Two notes: - I don't think this is a true or traditional "cream": just that its thickness makes it closer to a cream than a lotion. Think of it more like the love child between a traditional oil-based cream and a water-based lotion. - The tube is made of a thinner metallic material, making it easy to squeeze this sucker out and get your money's worth. It's also very light this way. I roll this tube (like toothpaste), and it ended up breaking (cracking?) a bit towards the end. That said, this wasn't a bad thing because I was able to get even more out this way!

Tube is too small for the price
Really good PDRN cream, better and more hydrating than others I’ve used but doesn’t leave skin oily. I’ve noticed a positive difference in my skin since using it. I have oily skin and break out on my chin but Dr Althea’s has helped resolve this issue. The downside is its super small tube for $30 which is why I gave only 4 stars.

One of the Better Barrier Creams I’ve Tried

As the metal creases as you use the product the white outer casing flakes off inevitably leaving little white flakes on my face.

So, Dr Althea creams are well known for their good quality. I have not used this particular as of yet (just received it), but successfully used its older and bigger cousin. That said and while on the subject of size - it is disappointingly small and disproportionately so to its "cousins" in size and cost. Hence, I deducted 1 star.

There’s nothing wrong with the product but for the amount you get I just can’t justify the price in my skin care regimen. I did use the entire bottle, but I used it sparingly and not necessarily daily. Definitely used it at least a few times each week. I don’t know if it’s the type of thing that needs to be used long-term to get results, but I have enough effective products in my routine that I wouldn’t buy this again.
