At first I thought it was way too thick and chalky but I think the formula had dried a little in the pump because it thinned a bit after multiple uses. I've been using this on my days when I'm wanting to go a bit bare. I've been mixing a pump with my sunscreen and then maybe adding a little more coverage where needed. Doesn't cover much discoloration wise but masks pores, moisturized and makes me comfortable with natural looking light coverage. There are lots of oils and ingredients that may not be 100% acne or sensitive skin friendly. I haven't had any issues with breakouts yet but it's something to consider. It also is quite fragrant which doesn't bother me but it did linger. I usually use Cool Bone shade from EL and found color match was fine. I don't think this foundation is for everyone but may work well depending on your skins needs. INIKA Organic BB Cream Foundation Vegan with Prickly Pear Oil, Jojoba Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil
Color matched my tone well. Goes on smooth and even with subtle coverage. Doesn't feel heavy or greasy. Wore nicely throughout the day. Removed easily with micellar water.

Sheer to light coverage. Stays tacky. Products don’t apply over easy. Starts looking dry & settling.
This comes in a nice outer product box. Ingredients are listed on the box. It’s made in Canada. It’s vegan and cruelty free (PETA certified). It’s in a nice bottle with a pump. According to the product box and product page, it’s made from sustainable aluminum bottle and 100% post consumer recycled plastic trigger (the pump). It claims to have skincare benefits, being infused with prickly pear oil, jojoba oil, pomegranate seed oil, and avocado oil. Based on the ingredient list, jojoba oil is the 8th ingredient, avocado oil is the 9th ingredient, and prickly pear oil is the 14th ingredient. This also has aloe leaf juice, neroli flower water, and a bunch of different oils like castor seed oil, grape seed oil, sunflower oil, pomegranate seed oil, rosehip seed oil, and argan oil. This has a natural scent to it. It smells kind of earthy. Not my favorite, but it’s not extremely strong and I don’t notice it once I finish my makeup, so it’s not a big deal to me. But someone who is sensitive to smells might have an issue with it. I got the shade “Porcelain.” I’m very fair and even though I have a very cool undertone, I also have muted skin. This shade worked well for me. It was light enough for me, but also cool enough while not being overly pink so it worked well for my muted skin. It isn’t as pink as it looked online in the product photos, so thankfully it wasn’t overly pink and worked well for my muted skin. Based on the ingredients, I’d say this is an oil-based BB cream. It contains a lot of different oils. I figured it would be moisturizing because of that, and because it claims to be “infused with nourishing botanical extracts” with a “skin-loving formula” that “helps restore moisture, boost brightness, mask imperfections, and leave a visible veil of softness.” This has a thicker but creamy consistency to it. It glides onto the skin easily. They described this as “providing light and even coverage” and said it “provides a natural look, as it balances out skin tone and masks imperfections.” I wasn’t sure if they meant it was light coverage or just would feel lightweight on the skin. It is a BB cream, so I expected it to provide pretty light coverage. It is definitely sheer to light coverage. As it claimed, it evens my skin tone - reducing the look of my redness. But, it doesn’t “mask imperfections.” Any post acne marks and sun spots (hyperpigmentation) I had still showed completely. My sun spots are stubborn and a lot of times even full coverage products don’t cover them, so it didn’t surprise me that this did nothing for those. But, I was surprised my small red post acne marks still showed. I tried building it up some in areas I wanted some more coverage, but it didn’t build well. I have dry to normal skin (when it’s warmer, like now, my skin is more dry to normal where I get a little oily in my t-zone but can get dry on the rest of my skin, and in the winter my skin gets dry to extremely dry). With 1 thin layer, it looked nice on my skin at first. It didn’t emphasize my dryness at all and worked well in my t-zone where I can get a little oily. But, throughout the day even with 1 thin layer, it would start to look dry and chalky in areas and settle into fine lines, which I didn’t like. If I tried adding a 2nd thin layer, it didn’t look good at all. It looked heavy, would immediately settle into any fine lines and look dry on the skin, and as the day went on it would get even worse. It also left a slightly tacky feel to the skin that didn’t go away. It was like it just sat on the skin instead of settling into the skin like most BB creams. Since it would start to look dry, even with 1 thin layer, I didn’t want to apply powder over it. Products didn’t apply over it nicely - cream/liquid and powder. It would lift up the BB cream underneath it even though I usually can avoid that happening with other BB creams/foundations, so I know it isn’t my technique. Powders would look uneven and patchy, which, again, I’m usually able to avoid happening even without powdering first with other BB creams/foundations. Overall, this isn’t for me. The shade worked perfectly, so I had high hopes. But, it didn’t work out after that. For me, it’s too pricey for the results. It just barely covers my redness and covers nothing else. With 1 thin layer it looks good at first, but then quickly starts to look really dry and settle into fine lines. It stays tacky on the skin and I can’t apply liquid/cream/powder products over it nicely. I have other BB creams that cost much less but provide better coverage, application, and wear. So, this isn’t for me. It could be my skin type. Maybe it’s better for those with normal to oily skin. I can’t say. But I couldn’t get this to work for me. (And yes, given it seems like it’s oil-based, I did consider that and how that worked with other products that might have different bases, and even when pairing the bases together, I got the same result). I give it 2 stars. Good ingredients and packaging and good shade, but that’s it.

I could not get it out of the bottle
I've used a number of BB creams over the years, this is the thickest I've ever encountered. I shook the bottle for over a minute trying to loosen it up because it would not come out of the pump, it still didn't come out of the pump. I was beginning to think that they'd forgotten to put the tube connection into the bottle and that I'd never be able to use this. I finally had to use a makeup/skin care spoon to reach into the bottle and stir it up for about a minute, it still took like twenty pumps to get it to come out of the dispenser. By this point I was annoyed, I had to waste a good amount of product, at this price point, to get it out of the packaging. Unfortunately this is a little too light for me at this time of year, but I am hoping to try it again in the fall/winter, hopefully I won't have to stir it again, but I'm probably being optimistic. I did like the feel of the product and it blended well.
