Yes you have
This is THE BEST lip liner in the WHOLE, WIDE WORLD. Period. The size of the actual pencil is huge, it’s super big. It’s perfect, lip liner is super important for me. I’m a trans person ( I know! I rolled my eyes too! ) and make up, for us, is important, I know…. Who would have thought? Why is it this way? We may never knooooooow… But it is and this stuff has the best texture, it’s soft and it lasts forever on your face. I got the crimson color and it goes on your lip really nicely, just slides right on with little to no pressure. And it feels moist, like soft, moist…moistness. I don’t know what to write! But this is the best lip liner and it’s organic as well! Just really nice! I found my brand, have you?!? Yes you have. Yes-you-have.

Mixed feelings about an eco-friendly old school lip liner
I really love several INIKA makeup and skin care products, but this Long Lasting Lipstick Crayon is harder to justify unless you are really committed to having a vegan and organic product. This lipstick crayon and liner is quite wide and easy to apply which is nice. The color is just as described in the listing and it plays well with other products. The smell is the waxy scent that one would associate with a fresh box of crayons, but the texture is pleasant and creamy (no painfully pulling wax here). As a liner, this performed well for me, but I don’t think it would hold up well through a full day with normal eating and drinking without needing to be reapplied. This does lean more heavily into lip liner than lipstick, so it’s not particularly moisturizing. For most people I’d rate this a 3.5 out of 5. But if you’re looking for something with more sustainability credentials, this is a great choice.
The shade is a warm nude that blends beautifully with the lipstick and helps define my lips without looking harsh. I applied it underneath and slightly overlined, and it gave my lips a fuller, more polished look. The texture is creamy and smooth, so it glides on easily and doesn’t drag. It feels lightweight and comfortable, and it keeps my lipstick from feathering or fading too quickly. The color is soft and natural, with just enough warmth to complement peachy or beige nude tones. I like that it’s made with clean, organic ingredients and still performs as well as high-end liners. Chalky, Heavy
The INIKA Organic Long Lasting Lipstick Crayon is a fantastic color. It's a mauvey-nude, and I would pluck this lipstick from the crowd in a heartbeat, seeing as I like and trust the INIKA brand, and long-lasting matte lipsticks are my absolute favorite. Well...this isn't my absolute favorite. This lipstick crayon ends up feeling a bit like "lipstick chalk", maybe. The consistency is something that I do not like at all. This stuff sits on top of my lips, and I mean, just SITS there. It makes no effort to blend into my skin; it sort of plops itself down on my skin, gently pulls the moisture from my lips, and slowly disappears. It's like a bad houseguest, staying for an indeterminate amount of time, sucking the energy from everything, and then kind of slowly edging out of your life once everything feels pale and drab. This lipstick doesn't feel or look as expensive as it is. I give it some leeway because it is organic and vegan, but the heavy, thick feeling is inexcusable. When I tried this, I suddenly remembered why I own a number of INIKA cosmetics, but lip products don't feature among them. I wish this were a bit a bit smoother. I do love the color. If only it lasted longer, and felt good on my lips! As it is, it tends to be a bit blotchy, as well, since it doesn't move smoothly along my lipline. The lipstick deposits color a tad unevenly. I usually love INIKA, but this isn't the best example of the product line.

Long-lasting lipstick crayon; small color selection
Inika products have been growing on me! The fact that they’re a clean, vegan company is amazing, and the quality of their cosmetics is excellent. This is obvious with their Long Lasting Lipstick Crayon, which I tried in Mauve. I am a makeup fanatic, with lip color being hands-down my favorite item to apply. Lipstick crayons and thick lip liners are at the top of my list, and this product did not disappoint. The size of the crayon is the perfect width for precision when applying, and goes on smoothly. I use it like a liner, filling in my lips afterwards. There’s no awful taste, and it isn’t drying. It’s supposed to be a satin finish, and initially, it is. After a short while, it turns to a matte look, which I always top off with a gloss. I not only like the aesthetic better, but I cannot stand the feeling of dry lips. The crayon has very good staying power; I reapplied it only a few times over my 8-hour work day. My only issue was with the Mauve color, which was the single shade offered when I ordered. I thought it would look a bit more on the pink side, and it definitely favors brown to me. I am wary of pinkish- brown shades, because they always look much more of a brown on me, and doesn’t look great with my coloring. I swatched the color for the picture I posted, and it looks more pink than it does when applied. I’ve been using it as a base liner and shade then lighten it up significantly with a soft pink shade, so it’s still of good use. I’d perhaps try the Pink Nude shade, but that’s still a maybe, considering the price point. It would definitely be worth it if the shade looked good on me. I hope to see lighter pinks soon, and wish Inika was available at Ulta or Sephora to try before purchasing. Overall, this is a quality lip crayon that is worth $28, if you like the shade. Inika continues to impress me, and I definitely recommend their Long Lasting Lipstick Crayon. 💋
I’ve been wondering what a red lipstick would look like on me, so I went with the crimson version of this pencil. I was hoping it have more of a blue undertone, but it’s still nice. Turns out, I really like the more precise way a sharp pencil lipstick applies. This goes on pretty smoothly, with minimal tugging, and the color it’s rich. It does smell like a pencil, so that was a bit off-putting. It’s not as moisturizing as a regular lipstick, but it does has some to it, and it certainly looks like it’s been applied by a traditional lipstick, unlike when I just try to fill with a liner. That said, its shine came more from a metallic sheen than from being moist. It wiped completely off with a paper towel when I was ready to remove it, not even a slight tint left, so I’m not too sure that long-lasting is a realistic claim.
This seems more like lipstick in a pencil form, not a lipliner. The composition is characterized by a creamy, velvety texture, delivering a highly pigmented, intense color. Beautiful color that doesn't bleed
I love that this is non-toxic. Here is a comparison to like-products: I tried Elate's lip crayon, and it is smoother than this one, but it bleeds over my lip line, which drives me crazy. I also tried Beauty Counter's lip liner and it is decent, but this one goes on smoother and can actually be used as a lipstick much easier than that one. I love the rose nude in this color. I think the name is apt. It is just a bit pinker than a nude, which is good for my neutral/fair skin. I like this one so much that I bought a second one, right after I bought this on (and immediately lost it out of my purse). Although it is rather pricy, it is worth it in my opinion!

This is my third product from the Australian brand Inika Organic, and I can’t believe how consistently good everything from this line has been. This lip crayon is the definition of perfection. The shade is that elusive ‘your lips but better’ tone that flatters without ever looking overdone. I can slightly overline with it, and no one would ever guess; it just looks like my natural lips, only smoother, fuller, and more defined. This color is such a safe ‘blind buy’. It has that rare balance of pigment and moisture you usually only dream about in a lip product. The coconut oil and carnauba wax nourish and protect, so my lips actually feel softer after wearing it. Love it
I’ve never used a chunky lip pencil for a lip liner before so I was amazed with how smooth this one applies. It gives just the right amount of color and it is very opaque and feels really satiny on the lips. I actually prefer having a chunky lip liner versus a thin one since this fills in the lips quicker due to the size. It doesn’t flake or peel off and it does not cling to any of my dry patches on my lips. I love it.

Lipstick Crayon
This review is for "INIKA Organic Long Lasting Lipstick Crayon | Vegan Lipstick + Organic Lip Liner, Hypoallergenic, Cruelty-Free, Satin Finish, Enriched with Vitamin E and Coconut Oil, Mauve 3 g" This lipstick crayon is a medium thickness, not quite like the older chubby crayon style lipsticks, I prefer this one. It is an elegant looking crayon. The mauve is a bit more of a dusty pink mauve in my opinion, I expected it to be a hair darker. The formula is nice and creamy without being wet. It's easy to line the lips and fill them in quickly. There was a bit of a dry feeling after a few minutes so I applied a basic balm over it. It has no staying power with or without the balm. I've been kissing the back of my hand every few minutes and it's still coming off into my hand. I do like the vegan and organic aspect of it.

Pretty color!
I love that this is like a hybrid lipstick and lipliner. The tip is small enough where I can still draw precise lines. But then it’s big enough that I can fill in my lips quickly. The color goes on smoothly and is really creamy. But the color is a bit to "matte" and dull for my skin tone (I am fair skinned and can look a bit washed out without more a more intense color). But it did have a strong holding color, and it felt nice on my lips, so I may give a different shade a try here soon.
