It's not quite all that but it is great
*6 month update - the review mostly stands, it is a heavy degreaser so great for oily scalps and teenagers, I do feel like it's dried my hair out a bit much so just have a good conditioner or alternate, hydrating, shampoo for balancing moisture if your scalp starts to flake* *Original review - Advertised as a body wash/shampoo/conditioner, three in one, really it's only maybe a decent body wash and not a very good conditioner, especially for long hair; however, I will say, it is an amazing shampoo. My hair is thick, straight, and long, down to the shoulder blades anyway, and it takes a small palm full to fully lather it, I let it sit in my hair for about a minute before I wash it out, drinking my shower beer or soaping up, whatever, then it washes out nicely. The first time I got it, I used it exclusively for all three (soap, shamp, condish) and it was way harder than it should have been to brush my hair out afterwards, even with a "wet brush" (which I highly recommend btw) but I can say my hair was extremely soft after it dried and I genuinely couldn't stop smelling it the days following, which brings us to the scent. I've read reviews where people have said that it has a baby powder smell? Maybe slightly. I also wouldn't, as a tobacco user, exactly call it tobacco, also maybe slightly. I will say, what it is, is a pleasant, masculine smell and I enjoy it a lot more than I thought I would. After initially smelling the bottle I thought it was too strong but it evens out nicely in a wash. It varies but I shower sort of intermittently throughout the week because it's better for your hygiene and scalp, the scent stuck in my hair for 3 days and so did the softness, probably would have lasted more but that's as long as I'm willing to go. So overall, amazing shampoo. The body/beard wash part however, was pretty underwhelming, it only lasted maybe a day and was very faint but perhaps did slightly help with softness but not moisture retention in my opinion. In the picture are items I highly recommend to fill other roles, I learned at a younger age that if a man doesn't take care of himself no one will, these are the things that I found that work best in my opinion, at least for my genetics. "Nizoral A-D anti-dandruff shampoo" takes care of the dry scalp business when it inevitably hits, really I only ever have to use this like maybe twice a year to keep everything in check but it's the best solution I've used out of many. Cannot recommend it enough. The "Duke Cannon charcoal conditioner" is my current go-to so I can actually brush my hair out, though I think I'm switching to "Blu atlas". If your hair is shorter you can probably get by just using The man-made wash tbh and you'll probably be better for it, the spiced vanilla scent one is good, I actually purchased it for my teenage brother and he loves it. This Duke conditioner is good though and I use it in my beard as well. The "Duke Cannon shampoo puck" is absolutely outstanding, it has changed my shower life forever, if I ever stockpile for doomsday, it'll probably be the first thing I start with, it lasts forever, it lathers insanely quick and insanely well, it does a great job and smells great, it's perfect for traveling, honest to God it's blown my mind and I only got it because the charcoal shampoo wasn't in stock, now I'm never going back. It's my permanent travel shampoo option, great for road trips with alternating elevation as bottles tend to build up pressure and potentially explode, it's just amazing all around really. Finally, the shower beer. It'll definitely enhance your shower experience. Miller (not lite) is a decent go-to domestic but a fine craft beer is recommended. Maybe if it's just a shower beer, better to go with something affordable and save the good stuff for the good days with good friends. Your call. Some side notes: I've used a few different bars of soap but none of them have had a lasting impression on me so it's undecided, try different things, see what you like, this shampoo brand "man made" dells their own bars that I have yet to try. Something changed with my last order in May 24. Normally 5 star, but this last time a 1.
I've ordered this many many times in the sweet tobacco and spiced vanilla scent. It is a little pricey, but well worth it because of the quality of the product. Worked great in my beard and as a body wash. The scent of the sweet tobacco is absolutely fantastic and my wife loves it too. It was also very thick and would lather up very nice. Well....... it used to. This last 32oz of the sweet tobacco scent ordered in May 24 was extremely watery and would NOT lather without a ton of it used. Even then, it barely forms soap bubbles. In fact, what spurred me to write this was what happened after my shower last night. After showering, I needed to inject medication. I cleaned the area with an alcohol wipe and there was dirt on the wipe. This was right after showering! The product is soooooo bad this time. I knew then what I had already been suspecting and believe something was either changed with the product, or something has gone wrong with my order/batch. Either way, I'm very disappointed. Especially as this has been my go to for around two years, or more. It would be nice to know what happened. Now, I'm trying to decide if I even order it again, or try something else.

Outstanding
This is way too expensive, but I will continue to buy it because it works great for me. I have no allergic reaction to any part of this 3-in-1 men's body wash, unlike many other well-liked highly, rated soaps, shampoos, and body wash. As I said, the scent is great and lasts a long time. A little bit goes a long way on a washcloth or whatever you use. I have very short hair, so I don't need much, but my gray hair is soft nowadays, and all I use is this body wash.

Best Body Wash Ever Made
This scent is addicting and craveable. When I smell it on my significant other it literally turns me on. Ladies, buy your men this body wash and enjoy him more than usual. No other remake or “similar” wash smells as good as this one. Be sure to get the “SWEET TOBACO” scent by this brand. There are a few other scents and the bottle is the exact same, so be sure to pay attention to the scent. Sweet Tobaco is absolutely #1. I even sneak and use it after I buy it for my bf, I hate doing that because I feel like an Indian giver but it smells so good I can’t resist.

This bath wash is Awesome!!
I had a lot of mixed feelings about some of the other bath washes. I’m not a tobacco person so that wash stunk to me. ( Sweet Tobacco )But we were out and came across this bottle of Men’s Bath Wash 18.21 Absolute Mahogany has become my absolute favorite. I have tried all kinds of bars of soap and body washes and this is my favorite. I am not affiliated with this company. So get that out of the way. I have purchased 2 bottles of this body wash. My wife loves the aroma and makes the bathroom smell great. It moistens my skin and leaves me feeling very clean. And did I mention it smells great too. I hooked!! It is pricing but it doesn’t take much to get the job done. It lathers up very well and I use it from head to toe. I want to try the Grit Bar which is the same thing but in a exfoliating bar soap. Guys your lady will be happy you tried this.

The best
It's been difficult to find a body wash or bar that works for my husband, but this one is it! We found this at Marshall’s in the clearance section the first time he used it. We looked everywhere to buy it again & found it here. The product smells great & makes his skin & hair super clean & soft. I felt like we’d never find something to work for him but this is the best! My only complaint is the container because it’s in a bottle that looks like it should be whiskey; so it’s fun but not the best execution. I switched the contents into a pump container to maximize usage. Will buy no matter the container. Sad the jug isn’t available anymore though.

Bring Back it Original Quality
Bought this item, Sweet Tobacco, several times over the past years.. I have considered this a 5 star in the past, but it has now dropped a star. The body wash/shampoo is much watery and doesn't have that shampoo consistency we expect,, it just runs out of the bottle if your not very careful, and that GREAT scent is now a bit watered down, too! Please bring back the original formula!! I gave it 4 stars 'cause I still like the scent and would purchase again.

New "Thick Pour" Version - New But Not Better than the Original
Newer "thick pour" version of this wash pales in comparison to the lighter amber original. This thicker version doesn't smell as good or feel as good on my hair or body as the original version. Now that the thick pour is all they make I will no longer purchase this.

Watered down trash
I love this product. It smells great and it used to lather nicely and leave you feeling clean and refreshed. But the company decided their bottom dollar was more important than their customer base and decided to water down the original soap and then had the audacity to sell the original thicker soap at a premium price. I’ve used their product almost religiously for over 6 years but not anymore. The quality sucks, there is no lather and it feels like no matter how much you pour out its not enough to get you clean. The one good thing I will say about it is that it still has the same great smells. Originally I only got their 64oz but that one day disappeared so I said that’s fine, 32oz works just as good. And to be fair it did. Then I got a bottle that seemed super watery and I thought, must have been a bad batch so I shrugged it off. After buying it from Amazon, their official site, and even at Buc-ee’s I finally realized they were purposefully watering down their premium priced soap. The final straw was when I got a promotion text from them selling the thicker original soap at a premium price. In short, the quality of the soap is trash for even low tier soap now, much less for their premium price tag. I recommend looking elsewhere because the once great soap is just good smelling water anymore and the company won’t hesitate to scam you for every penny they can get from you for it.
