New favorite BB
So-as a back story- I used Dr. G Super-light brightening cream for about ten years and was super panicked when they stopped making it; the best things about it were light-to heavy coverage (very buildable), the very neutral-fair color (which may appear a little grayish before its blended but helps tremendously with redness), the velvety finish (a mixture of matte and dewy), the fact it doesn't cause breakouts, the cost-effectiveness (a little goes a very long way and one tube lasted on average about 2.5 years), and the 20-hr durability (I kid you not; I once went from morning to midnight for a wedding without it moving an inch!!). ...So what does all this have to do with Mizon bb cream? Well, in the three or so years I've spent tirelessly searching for something to replace my favorite korean formula- this is by far the closest I've come. Mizon snail repair #21 is SO similar! I could cry for joy...

Best non-irritating fragrance free BB cream
I never write 5 stars review because I’m so picky about skin care and makeup. I feel compelled to write a review for this BB cream because I had purchased this product for more than 8 times. I tried so many expensive foundations and BB cream like Estée Lauder, Shiseido, NARS, 100 percent pure, Missha, Skin79, La Mer. They all have too many plant extracts that irritated my skin, or too many chemicals and fragrances that also irritated my skin. This BB cream is God Send!! It doesn’t have a very long list of ingredients and has almost 40% of snail mucin to keep my skin hydrated (I used tretinoin for hormonal acne). It doesn’t cause any breakouts and has medium to buildable full coverage. I’m 43 years old and this BB cream doesn’t not look cakey or show my lines or pores. In fact, it actually softens the look of my pores and gives a healthy glow. You all know so well that it’s hard to find a fragrance free BB cream that has good coverage. Oh the best part is the price is so affordable. Give it a try and you won’t regret **side note: I have acne prone combo skin with very large T zone pores. If you have dry skin, make sure to moisturize well before putting this on because this BB cream has mineral sunscreen in it, so it might be mildly drying if you have dry skin!

Best foundation I ever tried
This is the most perfect foundation you can find. I own over 50 foundations with prices ranging from 200 to 45 dollars and none of them can achieve this effect. This is moisturizing but semi-matte, glowy but not shiny, makes you look younger, feels amazing to the touch and stays put. Creates this trully smooth “korean glow look” For 14 dollars? Unbelievable!!! Not even the lady gaga haus of gaga foundation is able to do this, and that was one my favorites, not even airflash from dior or giorgio armany luminous silk can achieve this unique effect. It is probably similar to luminous silk in a distamt way but more coverage , nicer and trully natural glow semimatte, moisturizing , pore filling , wrinkles filling without shine. Sorry there is adjectives to describe this. At top of this, it is spf 50. This is the first time I review something as this is true perfection. Even my 72 year old mother looked fantastic using this.

Love it but size is deceiving
I love the Mizon snail creamy facial wash and have used that religiously for years. As I get older, the melasma I developed when I was pregnant has started to fade and I no longer need full-coverage foundation, but I still need some coverage to even my skin tone out and definitely need the sunscreen! I’ve used many different BB or CC creams, and my favorite is probably the erborian but it does not contain nearly enough SPF. After that is probably the IT Cosmetics but I think I like this better than both of those. I’ve only been using it for a couple of days but I’m impressed. It’s a light product that blends very naturally into my skin to provide me with that even skin tone and covered a lot more than most bb creams without feeling or looking like you’re heavily covered! I can’t stand it when companies don’t add a high spf to a bb cream because it renders it useless in my opinion. I have no issue applying SPF before I put on a full face of makeup. For the days that I don’t need a full face though, it’s much easier to just grab a product that has it because it saves me both the time and hassle from having to apply it separately. I greatly appreciate the SPF 50 and not some useless number like SPF 10 because I’d may as well be wearing none at all. The only complaint I have (and it’s kind of a big one!) is that the bottle I got, which I purchased new, is about ~35% empty. I know lots of companies don’t use their full packaging and that they’re specifically designed not to, but I had to press the pump down around 50 or so times before I got any product out. By the time all the empty air got pushed out and finally released some actual product, the bottle was 1/3 empty. Perhaps I got a faulty pump, but to have to continue to pump empty air until it deflated enough to finally release some product, makes it seem even more wasteful. Rather than purchasing 1.76 ounces, it’s more like 1.0 oz of product you’re left with. When I purchase another bottle, I will update if I don’t experience the same thing with it. It’s not enough to stop me from buying it again, so when I do, I’ll gladly update my review to reflect the fact that it was potentially just a fluke with this first specific tube I purchased and not something that most would experience regularly when using this. If that’s the case, it’d be 5 stars. Short of that, I really love it and hope I just had a lemon of a bottle! TL; DR: Love the full coverage and the high SPF, but the actual product in the bottle is more around an ounce than the 1.76 oz that you’re thinking you’re purchasing. Not enough of an issue to stop me from buying again.

Pros and Cons
So overall I love this product if used a specific way. So fresh out of the shower with very moisturized skin and when ur prepared to blend for ur life and FAST. This product works like literally no other. My skin is beautiful. But if ur not prepared to put in the work to blend this right it looks like cake icing and with look terrible. The first time I used it I had been lounging all day and my skin was a bit dry and it looked terrible. So I tried it the next morning fresh out of the shower with all my mousterizers fresh on my skin and my face was nice and Dewey and it went on better. But again it drys fast so you gotta work in sections and blend quickly. I blended with my hands and it worked great. Overall it’s a great product just a little harder to apply than I was expecting. It sticks to dry patches and any acne marks that are still healing so I just blended extra well around those areas and it’s not very noticeable. Based on how it feels I’m very confident I won’t break me out but if I does I will update this review. Will continue to use for sure though. Pro’s: -good coverage -lightweight -mousterizing -bendable Cons: -fast drying -thick -sticks to dry spots

Absolute favorite
I love this stuff!!!!! Bought it on a whim and it is absolutely one of my fav beauty products now. This is my daily go to foundation, as someone who has struggled with adult acne pretty much my entire adult life, natural looking yet FULL coverage is really important to me.. this stuff does that!! .. not only does it cover blemishes but also scars, redness and hyperpigmentation!! Yet looks natural and never cakey!! I do think a good setting powder is needed tho as it does get a little oily becuz of its moisturizing properties… My pictures are before concealer and powder ,no filter ..just bathroom lighting… also another review stated the size is small/deceiving.. I do not agree.. I bought my bottle in June and have used it almost every day and am just now getting to the end of my bottle in October!!! A little goes a long way!! One pump is more than enough. Basically I love this stuff and hope it’s price stays reasonable as I have bought 50 dollar foundation before that I don’t like as much as this stuff!! Would also be cool if they made more of a range in shades for others.. But yeah definitely pair with a good powder and concealer for a flawless face!! xx

This works great for me. I found a shade that works amazing for me and its not cakey but covers my blemishes. I love that it has SPF too and my sensative skin never breaks out with it. This product makes me look like I have glass skin and I honestly can't get enough of it. However, this isn't smudge proof and if you wear anything white, it WILL be turning tan. I have seen misinformation online recently that snail mucus is a scam. After my own research this is not true, I reccomend you to search up the brand and company yourself if you have any doubts. But this is NOT "fake' snail mucus, and the ingredients in it do not clog my pores either. However, whether or not they clog pores of different skin types isn't something i'd know. I have oily/combination skin, and this works just fine for me. I walk in the sun for around 40 minutes every day, and I have yet to get sunburned wearing this so its a great sunscreen as well. Just 2-4 pea sized amounts a day is enough to cover my entire face.

Not terrible but not great
I’ve used a lot of BB and CC creams over the years, but this is definitely the thickest, heaviest, and orangest I’ve ever used. The pump doesn’t even work for me - I have to unscrew the lid and wipe my finger on the inside of the pump to use it. I definitely learned a quick lesson after I first applied this: you’ve gotta cut it with a moisturizer if you want that natural, dewy finish that a BB cream is supposed to give. I found a good balance if I mixed a smidge of this with a moisturizing primer, but it was still pretty intense. It did blend in much better, though, and made my skin look glass-smooth. But the problem with cutting SPF BB creams is that with all the other ingredients in the product, it’s already difficult getting an adequate amount of it on your face to get the full benefits of the SPF. Cutting it just makes that even more impossible and the SPF a useless feature. I guess that’s what actual sunscreen is for, but it’s still disappointing. The only good news is that because I do have to mix it with a moisturizer, I have a feeling this will last quite a long time. There’s quite a bit of product here and a little goes a long way. While I’ll use the product that I have, I definitely won’t be buying again. It’s just not for me.

Lovely FOUNDATION
I was hoping to replace my pricey favorite tinted moisturizer (Elta MD uvclear -tinted); & that's not going to happen. This BB cream has a lovely coverage & wears well. My skin is normal/dry & combo in Tzone. I feel like this is neutral in the moisturization category, not drying but not hydrating enough to wear by itself as I wanted to do. I am fair/olive toned with a tendency toward yellow. #23 is a close match to my skin yet WAY too YELLOW. It would be great if Mizon would make a 23.5 that is NEUTRAL. I love the coverage & luminous finish (need a moisturizer underneath) so I will keep this as a summer foundation that I can maybe wear when I am more tan in the summer. I cant say yet how this does under extreme humidity & Texas heat. I will order #21 & see if mixing the two together can improve this for me. If you are looking for a light foundation with great coverage you will LOVE this product. 23 is best on light/medium olive toned skin or those with redness to even out. Missha perfect cover bb has greater shade selection, but I broke out with itcy bumps from that. My sensitvie skin was very calm & happy with with Mizon snail BB=)

Amazing
I wanted to take the time to write this short review. First, my mother is Korean and I’ve grown up around Korean skincare and makeup. I’ve tried so many expensive to drugstore foundations. I have always been disappointed. I have freckles and some dark spots from sun damage on my face. I hate wearing a lot of heavy makeup. I still want to lightly cover my blemishes and not feel like I’m wearing a ton of heavy foundation. I found this BB cream and wanted to give it a shot. When I saw it was Korean, I was SOLD! I LOVE this BB cream. It covers just enough and is moisturizing to my face. I also, have very dry sensitive skin. When I want a little extra coverage, I add a light powder over the BB cream. I’m so happy I found this product! I hope they never stop making it.

AMAZING!!! Especially for anyone on Acutane.
I am on Accutane, its almost impossible to find something that doesn't cake up and flake up or make your face like an oil-slick once the Accutane has fully set in. This is the *BEST* BB cream/foundation I have ever used. SUPER buildable and lets your skin breathe and wont settle into lines or cake up. I am 46 and tend to have acne prone skin and super oily in the T-zone. Slight melasma to boot, but this BB-cream handles it all! Only gripe - the packaging. the pump is not the best and sometimes it spits out just clear fluid vs the actual pigment and magic. I HOPE they never ever discontinue this product. I wear shade 23 - I am a rather pale skinned Latina with yellow undertones it blends into my skin flawlessly. I have been asked if I even wear foundation cos you cannot tell. Will buy this again and again!

New favorite makeup
In the past, I’ve stayed away from BB creams because they were too thin and did not help my redness. I’m already a huge fan of Mizon products. I started with the snail serum. It stopped breakouts. Then I decided to try the Mizon under eye moisturizer because mine was not cutting it anymore. This lead me to ordering this bb cream, all in one moisturizer, lip serum, hyaluronic acid, and face scrub. I have pretty much switched all of my skincare routine to Mizon products. My skin has NEVER looked better. I only have redness immediately after washing my face now. The mix of the acid and the snail serum calms my skin. This bb cream is tinted and very thick. It feels kind of weird spreading it on because of the thickness but once it’s rubbed in, my skin feels amazing. The product lasts all day and doesn’t fill in my pores or make my skin look cakey like traditional makeup. This is by far my favorite makeup product and I will no longer be purchasing concealer or foundation. The ONLY negative here is that there are not many shades. I ordered #23 and this was fine with my medium spray tan. The lightest color is #21. I have ordered this for when I don’t feel like tanning. It’s best to spread this with a damp beauty blender rather than fingers because of the thickness.

YOU MUST TRY IT!, BEST EVER!!!!
I very rarely take the time to submit reviews, but have to do it this time. This product is inbelievable!, totally recommend it. I have tried many foundations, BB creams, CC creams... from any price range- from drugstore to Lancome, Mac, Dior, Chanel, Armani... and I am blown away by the quality of this product. I only used two pumps to cover my entire face as very little of the product goes a long way. I like medium coverage as I like it to provide coverage of freckles, and to even out my skin tone while at the same time looking natural. After all products I have tried, this one is without a doubt, the BEST!. Once you put it on your face you have to blend it right away as it has a pretty thick consistency and dries quickly. The quicker you blend it, the better. I put two pumps on the back of my hand and with my index finger I put small dots of it all over my face and blend it with my fingers. Then immediately blend it again with a moist beauty blender. It dries very quickly. No need for concealer. I even dab my eyelids at the end with the moist beauty blender and it works wonderful as provides me with a blank canvas to do my eyeshadows which remain intact for the rest of the day. It is truly an amazing product. You will not regret trying it, and for the price!!, totally worth it. Dermatologist recommended it to me.

I so wanted to love this!
If you love full coverage this is an amazing product. The first time I tried it, I did 3 pumps and that was way more than I needed! I was expecting a moisturizer/BB cream type of feeling but this truly felt more like a foundation. It brightened and evened my skin tone. It dries nicely, I did use a sponge to help it settle into my skin. The ONLY two things I didn’t like was that it made my skin feel drier than usual and it was so hard to remove! I went in with makeup cleansing balm 4x’s and then followed with a regular cleanser BUT I could still feel it on my skin. The next day my skin felt more dry than usual. All over the face, didn’t work out, but I did do a “spot” coverage for my problem areas and it was amazing! However, I feel like my purpose for buying it is mute if I only use it for problem areas. I wanted a BB cream with SPF and more coverage, so I can skip a step. I stay indoors all day so I don’t truly need an SPF lotion. Love and hate with this product but sadly I returned it.

Fantastic product!
I bought several BB and CC creams for under $20 at the same time and compared them side by side over a weekend— this one won hands down. It is a VERY pigmented product, so a little goes a long way. It feels thick when you apply it, but it doesn't feel thick when wearing it. It really sinks into the skin, adding some nice moisture throughout the day, but it doesn’t sink into pores or fine lines. I’m in my 30s, so I’m starting to shift my makeup routine— this product made my skin look the way it did 10 years ago. If you put on a light layer (less than half a pump for the full face) you still get good coverage, but your skin will look natural even at the end of a long summer day. It stays in place. The SPF gives great protection. I’ve tried plenty of similar products through the years, and this one really impressed me, especially for the price. I use so little of it each day that I’m sure it will last a long time, but when I finish this bottle I will definitely be buying this again!

Another Win From Mizon
On my quest for the perfect BB cream, I gave MIZON's version a try—my second shade attempt from their range. Although I haven't hit the exact shade match yet, it's pretty close, and I'm considering trying a tone darker next time. The product itself is fantastic: it's light on the skin, offers buildable coverage, and suits my preference for minimal makeup. It's just the right consistency for evening out my skin tone while allowing me the option to layer up over any blemishes. Plus, a small amount covers a good area, so it's lasting me a while. I'm really pleased with this MIZON BB Cream; it's another win from a brand I've come to trust. UPDATE: I actually tried the #27 this time, and it has a much brighter tone than the last. It's still not a perfect match, but it's much closer than the last one, and has less of an ashy tone than the #23.

Doesn't set well
This has been a frustrating sun screen. Pros: 1. Finally found a tinted sunscreen that can match my skin tone with out making me look overly pastey and white or yellow. I have a unique skin tone that honestly not even sure what to call it. I'm a fair skinned latina that has yellow & brown undertones so this Tinted #23 luckily isn't to light or dark which complements my tone very well. (kinda,will explain in cons.) Cons: 1. It doesn't last all day like some of my other Tinted sunscreens. I use to use Australian Gold Botanicals tinted sunscreen. Granted the "tint" didn't fit my complexation very well...it stayed on ALL day. With Mizon It rubs off through out the day and makes you look patchy. doesn't last even for 6hrs with out some areas rubbing off. 2. Applying it is tricky. First time i just applied it to my face after moisturizer and it made me look like I had caked on foundation. Refused to just settle into my skin and looked awful. So i used less my 2nd time after moisturizer and it just seemed like it refused to settle into my skin still and harder to spread. 3rd time I was able to get it to work a little better and look more natural but I had to actually apply one of my non tinted sunscreens first and then apply the tinted Mizon and it spread easier and didn't look like caked foundation at all but just like the 1st con...it rubs off through out the day.

Holy Snail Grail BB for fair neutral skin
What an amazing product! I can’t rave about it enough. It is soothing and moisturizing, but also gives great coverage with a natural finish. I am a very fair redhead with neutral undertones (N10) and finding a truly neutral bb cream that also was good quality makeup and doesn’t oxidize was the bane of my existence. This stuff is my HG forever. I apply with a damp beauty blender over a clean face; I set it with translucent powder. It’s very moisturizing so I don’t feel the need to wear moisturizer under (a complete first!) though I have tried it over all kinds of creams, moisturizers and serums, and it always behaved itself and didn’t break. I live in a very dry part of the country with very hard water; my combination skin is always acting up (some days very dry, others very oily) and this stuff has been consistently amazing. That being said, in a very humid environment I can’t necessarily vouch for it. I will try to remember to update my review next time I vacation in a humid place.

Moisturizing and healing for Acne Prone Skin!
I do not have allergies to Snail Mucin so it does amazing wonders for my skin. I have Acne Prone Dry and oily skin. Paler than pale Irish skin tone. I can't wear foundation at all. It aggravates my skin and personally, I believe foundation takes away the skin care. I've only used Korean BB Creams for the past few years and the one I love is absolutely overpriced and the others I also love has been discontinued. Then I found this. I was using foundation for the past year and my skin was havoc. After one week of this, my skin is finally moisturized and rejuvenated. One trick of the trade I do, is I don't rub BB Creams in. I dab, dab, dab and the coverage is flawless. But if I blend by rubbing, the cake appears. I initially learned this technique using the Missha and moving on to BB Cushions. The only con I really have is the lasting power. I've had BB Creams last me beautifully for over 24 hours. Or I can reapply without cake. This one, I can't reapply without cake forming.

This May Be My New Favorite Cosmetic/Skin Care Product!
I've used Mizon snail skin care products off and on for a few years now. (Off and on because I am a "product junkie" and get bored using the same ones all the time!) I didn't know they even made a BB cream until recently when I was looking for another product. I was a little skeptical because of some of the negative reviews, but thought, "What the heck?", and ordered it. I am super-impressed with this product. I've used other brands of BBs, but they usually don't offer enough coverage, unless you're a teenager or are blessed with great skin. I would end up applying my regular foundation over it anyway, so, what's the point? This product gives excellent coverage, with a smooth texture that doesn't require a moisturizer underneath. It can get a little gummy around the hairline and eyebrows, but that's easily remedied with a damp sponge or extra blending with the fingers. It does not budge until you wash it off. (That's with regular everyday office wear. We'll have to wait and see how it holds up during a hot, muggy Mississippi summer day!) An added bonus for me is that it does a better job of hiding my dark undereye circles than a regular concealer. Then there's the snail filtrate that is so good for your skin. I purchased the lightest shade for my pale skin, and it was a perfect match. Obviously, I cannot say enough good about this product. I will definitely be purchasing more, and would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested!

Medium to full coverage, but not heavy at all 3. No smell 4. Used it for my commencement ceremony, it lasted 10+ hours 5. Only 1-2 pumps, depends on coverage I want to have. Last more 6 months to finish it, using it 3-4 times per week 6. Moisturing on my skin and I have oily combination skin Cons: 1. Cannot find my right shade. I’m between shade 21 and 23. 21 is too ashy for me, and 23 is too yellow. I mixed with other BB cream 2. Need to set with setting powder under my eyes. I already bought it twice and will buy it again. The finish of this BB cream is better than my MAC foundation. Got tons of compliments whenever I’m wearing it because it has the glass skin.

I ordered #21. It's very buildable. Lasts longer with a translucent powder. I apply it directly to my face and blend out with a dense small kabuki style brush. People have said it dries fast. I don't have that problem. I always moisturize before I put on my make up so it could be that. I have a lot of pinkish scars and it covers them all. I normally wear a neutral or slightly pinkish undertone ivory in other brands. I will be buying this again because it really works well. I am wearing coral cream blush in the photo as well.

Finally found a great BB cream
I have been searching for a great BB cream since korean CC cushion became all the rage in recent years. I started using Clio Kill cover cushion foundation but was looking for something lighter/less heavy to wear in summer. This Mizon snail BB is fantastic, firstly the shade #23 is quite a great fit. (i wear Fenty Pro filt'r soft matte foundation in 180 – a little yellower and lighter than my skin tone, #23 is a tad warmer but still fits my tone fairly well). Finding the right shade for light olive/yellow undertone Asian skin is a challenge with korean BB as the shades tend to be ashy or too cool. Did not try this in winter when the humidity was drier but it applies well with fingers. The consistency is a creamy but doesnt feel as heavy as a CC cushion. SPF is 50 which means no need for extra sunscreen. Coverage is a medium, seems to be buildable. I still use a concealer for darker blemishes though. But this stuff really makes my skin texture look great and moisturized without being cakey. Pls dont stop producing this product!

Holy grail product
I am always cycling through more or less ok foundations and bb creams. What I find amazing about this one is that it somehow has amazing coverage and blurring effect and yet looks really natural. I love the texture, color works really well on me, and no breakouts. I will be sticking with this one.

Perfect coverage with good SPF
Mizon's Snail Repair BB cream provides perfect coverage without clogging pores. It leaves your skin feeling better than before you apply. The SPF 50 also offers ample full spectrum protection when going outdoors. This product, when paired with a setting spray, literally lasts all day with no touch up required. I was on the road for 10 hours and looked more or less the same as when I left the house. The downside? It's been out of stock for months. I hope they're not discontinuing the product. I tried 2 other brands of BB cream while waiting for this one to be in stock again, and they both sucked. Please make this product available again!

I’ve never had any issues with my skin before but I keep looking for lazy ways to get ready and I thought this would be a good product. I have skin pigmentation for using this produce about a week. absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

Perfect match
I had pale but red skin, and chose the shade just above rosey beige (sandy beige). The yellow undertones hide my redness perfectly and evens my skin tone. I normally use Rihanna's soft'lit foundation, which is more hydrating than this. Prep your skin properly, or this WILL be drying. That's the rule for most makeup bases, even if it isn't foundation. So moisturize and/or hydrate properly before hand. It's very soft, and doesn't feel tacky. I would say it's a matte finish, although I have very dry skin so that may change if you have a different skin type.

Favorite bb cream

Makes my skin look great...
...but I had to deduct a star because it actually makes me break out. It could be a me thing, though, because my skin's so damn prone to that. But the natural-looking coverage and sun protection keeps me from just tossing it, so I keep it around for when I need to make sure I look GOOD good during the day - I just wash it off really well ASAP and keep pimple patches and Paula's Choice salicylic acid on hand.

I wanted to love this, but....
I REALLY wanted to love this BB cream, and I had really high hopes since it had such great reviews but unfortunately, it didn't work for me... at all. It is definitely very FULL coverage which is what i was looking for, but it is extremely thick and feels heavy on the skin no matter how much you try to blend it out. It settled into my pores and fine lines/creases and left my face looking caked and blotchy shortly after applying. It dried my face out horribly but ultimately I had to stop using it because it started causing cystic acne. - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this if you're looking for a traditional "lightweight" BB cream; if you have dry skin or are acne prone, you might want to avoid this one. + I WOULD RECOMMEND this if you're looking for a full coverage, mattifying foundation!
