ZERO ODOR - Works great!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fragrance-free AND Paul Mitchell! I was pretty excited to find this. The conditioner that I had been using for 20 years was discontinued, so I had to find a new fragrance free one. I have asthma, skin sensitivity, allergies, etc. to all the scents and most of the colors. This Paul Mitchell conditioner is truly clear, visually and scentwise. It seems thick in your hand but when you rinse it out of your hair it becomes more liquidy and glides right out of the hair. My hair is not frizzy or greasy or heavy from it. I will continue using this. I LOVE that it has no scent at all and I have not had any bad reaction at all to it. Scent: Zero. Zilch. None. And I am super sensitive to scent.

I love this shampoo and conditioner. I have a perfume allergy and this does not make my hair smell like perfume at all. It is a very soft shampoo and conditioner and my hair feels much healthier. Will continue to buy

Conditioner foams like soap
I just found out I am allergic to several chemicals used in hair care products so I’m trying to find safe products for my curly hair. This shampoo is ok but the “conditioner” disappointed me. The fact that it was clear threw me off as conditioner should be creamy, but I was ok with that since it was safe for my allergies. I tried to use the conditioner several times but it foams. The first time I used it I thought I had grabbed the shampoo by mistake so I rinsed it and tried again. Nope! It was the conditioner and it was more foamy than the shampoo. I tried to use it a few more times but I just can’t because it feels like I’m washing my hair all over again because it’s so foaming.

Awful "conditioner". Leaves hair dry, tangled and stiff.
Does the exact opposite of what a good conditioner should do. Leaves your hair stiff, tangled, dry, unable to comb through. It is the worst conditioner ever tried, especially for how expensive it is.

I hate to leave a negative review, but this conditioner leaves my hair sticky and not really conditioned. It is unscented, which is important for many of us.

Paul Mitchell Clear Essential Conditioner, Fragrance Free, For Sensitive Scalp: Completely scent free!! I am severely sensitive/allergic to dyes and perfumes. This conditioner is perfect. I can't attest to the 'conditioning' aspect, as I only use it for the hairdresser (she won't cut my hair without a conditioner). Gave it 4 stars only because it seems pricey, but I haven't purchased product in a while so maybe in line with current market. I'm just very happy to find an truly scent free product!! I will buy again

Beautiful hair for allergy sufferers? No
Trying the clear essentials shampoo and conditioner for the first time. I suffer from allergies to many products, skin rashes, red itchy eyes, and fragrance induced migraines. I was using loreal simply clean, but it was discontinued. I tried cleure but it was too drying. My hair is fine, dry, color treated, and wavy. The shampoo lathered well, and the conditioner seemed ok. My hair was clean, shiny, very manageable, no frizz, and looks good. No allerfic reactions so far. Day 3 itchy scalp ears and eyes, though not as bad as some hair poducts. Others may not experience depending on what you are allergic to. Went back to what loreal simply clean it have left and feel much better. My search continues.

Use only a little and read instructions for proper usage
So far I am satisfied with the product. It only takes a little bit as advertised. So it makes it worth the money. It makes my curly hair more tangle free and gives it more manageability. I use it with the Clear Shampoo and I get good moisturizing and volume. And my hair has more softness to it. All in all when my bottle runs out I will probably buy more. I believe it only has 9 ingredients. And is very good for sensitive scalps. As is the shampoo. Remember it only takes less than a quarter of amount. Read the instructions on how to apply. And how long to leave it on for maximum benefits.

Definitely clean conditioner
This is different from your non-clean conditioner. It’s okay. Usually when you use conditioner it helps smooths your hair and removes any tangles and this doesn’t do a great job at it.

not very moisturizing
interesting conditioner, it is clear, which i have never seen before. mine came busted and leaking all over. i was only able to salvage a small amount. it is completely clear and scent free. it is not super moisturizing. unfortunately, this is not for me, but if you have an extra sensitive scalp with minor moisturizing needs, then this may work for you.

Interesting Consistency
Ok, a gel and not cream based conditioner was intriguing and I had to try it. It isn’t a bad conditioner. However it is hard to tell where it has been applied to one’s hair during a shower compared to the more visible traditional conditioner. Therefore, I think I used more product than needed to achieve the desired level of coverage while erring on the side of caution. Also, given the similarities in the bottles for this line’s shampoo, I once mixed them up during a shower and used the conditioner to shampoo. While the gel feeling did give away my mistake, it was too late to return the product to its container and therefore it was wasted. Gentle, yes. But I will not repurchase. I’d recommend the conditioner from Exederm instead.
