I have used devacurl, ouidad, bouncecurl, and innersense. Every one of them left my hair dry and curls lackluster. I have fine, wavy/curly non color treated hair and thought this might be too much—the shampoo and conditioner are absolutely perfect! I pair them with turntable curl cream for my ends and rockaway salt spray for my crown/bangs/roots and have never been more in love with my hair!
If you have naturally curly hair try this product!! I am 57 years old and have hated my hair forever, not anymore! Using this product in my hair is never frizzy and I get so many compliments from people that I have known for 13 years that now love my hair.
I’ve tried so many methods and products to keep my hair and good addition well also getting a good clean and this is by far one of my favorites! I have very fine wavy/curly blonde hair that is prone to dryness and frizz… My lifestyle requires me to wash my hair every day if not twice a day due to sweat and dirt(literally). The no poo and low poo methods do not work for me. This shampoo has enough oil two nourish but not enough to make hair oily feeling. It also has a very pleasant sent, not too strong or overpowering… I feel like it balances my the skin on my scalp And have noticed my hair grows much faster now… Expensive but worth it and a little goes a long ways…
I really like this brand, just wish it wasn't sooo expensive! Love the smell, and the line is great. The only truly bad thing about this product is the stupid bottle. If you are going to charge $3 dollars an ounce for shampoo/conditioner can you at least give me a bottle that I can store on the lid and actually get all the product out of? If you turn these upside down, they leak!
I love this product, I seem to need a little more of the shampoo than I usually would use if I want to get a nice little lather. I would give it five stars if not for the hefty price tag and small bottle. For $30 a bottle I feel like they could throw in a few more ounces.
After a life of searching due to curly hair, very curly, thick, but baby fine hair, I finally found a shampoo and conditioner, along with styling and leaveiin conditioners, from this company that works beautifully. My hair is so shiny and soft and using their other styling products, helps keep the frizz at bay allowing the curls to curl and help with keeping my hair where I want it. But that all starts with shampoo and conditioner - both very amazing. They moisturize and clean just like I need. Curly hair is a chore! These products make it more manageable! Thank you RandCO!

This shampoo RULES. R+Co Cassette Curl Shampoo defines and smooths my curls at the same time. It keeps the curls thick and bouncy but without dry air frizz. I never had long hair until this past year. I wasn't even aware that I had curls until a few months ago. I had always kept my hair short short short. But after a few life challenges...and hard knocks eye openers...it was time to redefine myself. I grew my hair long and pumped iron at the gym. I loved this sample, wanted to try before I bought bigger bottles as it is pricey, but it is worth it, i use that and also waterfall a great hair softener for my dry curls it makes my curly hair so manageable and I have a 3C curl my long hair still tangles in the night but it is still very good brand, curly hair just tangles I am use to that. I heard about this from my daughter whom uses this brand for color treated hair and she loves her products as well along with her water fall that makes her straight hair look great too.
I have wavy hair and this shampoo and conditioner helps define my loose curls. Also I have very sensitive skin and I never have a problem with this product. My hair and scalp are healthy and smell great too!
I have very thick, curly, color treated hair and this shampoo addressed all of my haircare needs. The product is silky and easy to work into my thick mess of hair—you do not need a ton of product in order to form a nice lather. The formula is powerful enough to leave your hair and scalp feeling clean and refreshed without causing dryness or weighing down curls. The shampoo smells really nice too.
I bought this product because of all the amazing reviews I read. However, this product made my hair feel heavy, greasy, and dirty. I have fine, thin, type 2C curls and this product was too heavy for them. Not a bad product - just not right for me!
I like shampoos that suds up when you use them, I'm a firm believer in washing your hair atleast twice and until you see bubbles when applying. I feel like my hair didn’t get as clean, I used the whole pack (three washes back to back) and it did suds up at all. But my hair was so squeaky from it that I know it was clean. Conditioner was ok, nothing special. The curl cream was nice and would consider buying a bottle of that. Probably won’t get the big bottles of shampoo & conditioner, but that’s why I got a trial pack! Over all nice smell, but there’s better products for curly hair!
Apparently anesthesia (given to me for a surgical procedure) caused my hair to turn curly. My hair became unmanageable so I switched to this shampoo because it is designed for curly hair and I like it very much. I also use the conditioner that goes with it. I think it keeps my hair from drying out so much and I'm happy with it.
I snagged this shampoo during a prime-day special to try with my wavy hair. The pros: Its smells lovely, and makes my hair very soft and healthy looking. The so-so: It isn't the best curl shampoo I've tried, and I need to supplement in more curl-enhancing products to get the finished product I'm looking for. The bad: The first time it was shipped, it was just thrown in the box with my other orders, and the shampoo went everywhere! Over half the bottle was lost, so I returned it and ordered a replacement. The second time around, it still spilled, but since it was the only item in the box, it was not as much of a mess and not as much was lost. My recommendation is if you try this shampoo, order some accompanying curl products but in a separate order so there is less risk of a shampoo explosion.
I was skeptical about spending SO, SO much money on shampoo. My SIL just finished cosmetology school and insisted good shampoo is worth it. I didn't know my hair could feel like this- clean, soft, etc. Totally worth the price.
I’ve been using this shampoo for years and it’s never failed me. I only wash my hair once to twice a week since my hairs curly and this shampoo leaves my hair feeling and smelling sooo clean

This shampoo conditioner combo creates real curls in my hair without any additional product! And you only need a dime sized amount, it works very effectively. Just a little expensive though, that’s the only downside.
This is the first time I've used a curl shampoo and ACTUALLY seen my curls more prominent afterwards. Beautiful. Love it.

I love this shampoo and it’s great on my hair. However, it was shipped in just an Amazon plastic envelope and by the time I got it, the lid was open and some was leaking in the envelope. Very frustrating since it is so expensive.

I’m sure this works great but I will never know. I got the packet to see how I do with it before buying bottles but when it arrived today the only part of the three products that came in the packet was the shampoo! Empty other than air for the conditioner and curl cream! Super dissatisfied but sometimes that’s the way it goes. Hope nobody else gets empty stuff like I did!

Warning the samples for $4 are very very tiny. I’ve have quite short hair and got only one use out of the shampoo and conditioner. The styler was too heavy for my fine loose curly hair and somehow made it straighten and look rough. So I would not recommend that. Hard to say how the shampoo and conditioner would have worked alone with a different styling product & I have no more to try. The products are so expensive that I think I will have to pass. Would have hoped for more for $4.
