This is the worst hairspray I have ever used. There is zero hold. The only thing it was good for is as a styling aid as I sectioned my hair with a round brush , mostly dried the section and sprayed this lightly to help hold the curl. If you are looking for hold in a hot humid environment , this would be a waste of money. I would not repurchase or recommend.
I usually love R+Co products! The shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, and mousse work great on my hair! The hairspray however does nothing for it. I bought the 2oz just to try and for $18 it was a huge disappointment! What I like about the R+Co products is a little goes a long way! I was expecting the same results from the hairspray! First use I just sprayed a little. My hair flopped. So next use I sprayed a lot, seemed like half the can, and my hair still flopped. Really bummed it didn’t work for me!
Check the sell by dates. Mine arrived with a sell by date of nearly a year ago. I love these products but don’t want to pay for old hairspray. Amazon did credit my account.
Not sure I can buy again, pretty spendy, but, it IS an amazing hairspray.
Great product for hold but terrible scent! My husband came into my bathroom and asked my if I was spraying for bugs. Not very sexy!
I thought the hold would be stronger based on the description. I have fine, curly hair that I flat iron straight, so I was looking for a strong hold in humidity. I ended up buying "Bed Head Hard Head" which worked much better. However, the R+Co Vicious is a nice lighter weight flexible hairspray and has a nice fragrance.
I love R&Co products, but not this one. The scent made me want to gag, and not in a good way... Definitely recommend Outer Space instead of Vicious because it is viciously unpleasant.
Cannot find a hair spray that holds including this one.
I usually LOVE R+Co products. I bought this for a trip and ended up leaving it there. It did not hold my hair at all and the smell was not good. I’ll stick with my Oribe hairspray from now on.
I travel for a living, so the small bottles of hairspray are must I normally order a different brand from the same maker, but they were out of stock. Ordered this one thinking it would be better and it's not. It's worse to make matters worse after it gives you an option to return it. You call customer service and they Authorize return or even a store creditcan
I love this hair spray it does not cake up and it smells great not strong or sticky. It holds down my hair great. It’s a little pricey but it is okay. The smaller size is great for trips Shine is good and the weight and texture are not hard on my hair.

My hair can be hard to curl. This product makes a noticeable difference. Although I do not care for the scent, I have continued using this because of the results.
This is really a great hairspray… but it’s not worth the price
Update 4/25/2023: After thinking about it, I needed to change from 5 to 3 stars because of the scent. I'm hoping the scent will change so I can use these really great products..... First Review 2/2023: Love all products from R+Co Dallas, but the scent is too overwhelming. The volumizing products work really well for fine hair, but I just could not handle the scent after about 3 weeks and gave it to someone else with fine hair and she said the same thing.
The product information said it was the ultimate hold. I have thick hair and even with two applications, my hair fell out of place almost instantly and into my face.
This is an awful stinky product that does not work. It smells like Raid. I WILL NEVER BUY THESE PROUDCTS AGAIN!
I was looking forward to trying this product based on positive reviews. This hairspray has a very strong scent and no hold at all.
I have naturally curly hair. This product did nothing to hold my curls in place. I ordered the small bottle, and I used it all in one day. Don’t waste your money!!!
Not only is it not that great at holding your hair, the smell is ridiculously bad- and you'll need to spray A LOT of it. Nobody wants their hair to smell like this. Nobody.
