i grabbed this hoping it would help keep the yellow tones out of my hair without making it feel dry, and i have to say i was pretty impressed. some purple hair products can leave my hair feeling rough or stripped, but this conditioner felt nice and creamy and made my hair feel soft while still helping with the brassy look. i noticed my hair looked cooler and a little brighter after using it, especially in the spots that tend to go warm the fastest. i also liked that it helped my hair feel smoother and easier to brush through afterward, which is a big deal for me because i do not have patience for tangles. it is one of those products that feels like it is doing two jobs at once, toning and conditioning, and that made it really worth using. i would not expect a miracle in one wash if your hair is very yellow, but for regular upkeep and keeping blonde, gray, or silver hair looking fresher, this one does a really nice job.
