Expensive but don't let that stop you!
YES it is worth it. The fluid is sooooo lubricated that a tiny little drop can be spread far & wide. So one little drop will cover an area the size of a maybe two thumbprints. I point this out because the price makes it seem ridiculous compared to the larger little tubes of other brands of scar cream/silicone. And I suppose most scar creams all work about the same, if you use them without fail like it says to. But I got FOUR different brands actually, as I couldn't tell from all the reviews which would be the very best. This Strataderm seems to be more of a protective seal and stays just slightly moist after putting it on, so it does NOT dry up and flake off and look like a dead squid stuck onto your skin like another highly recommended "fast drying" brand does---talkin' about you, Mederma---nor does this feel tight and clingy like a dried piece of plastic. This Strataderm silicon stays moist and never becomes dry-hard-crusty. And like I said a little goes a long way. So maybe it is worth that price, I think it is and so far am seeing good results after two months but I again point out I am using four different scar creams. Just know it will be a really small tube and that is kind of deceiving since a tiny little mini-drop goes a long way. So comparing it other brands which might take a half-pea sized drop, this one's 1/8 pea droplet gets the same coverage so the cost is probably close for the coverage area. If that makes sense.

This stuff is nothing short of amazing!
This product was recommended by my dermatologist, and I can see why. I could honestly tell a difference after a day, but after just one week of using this, my scar has totally flattened out. I have a large surgical scar across my neck. It was bulging and fairly big. Not only has it flattened out, but it's no longer as visible just one week in. I can't wait to see what it will be a month in! I'm definitely buying more of this stuff. It's worth every penny, and I have to tell you I hesitated due to the price at first.

Worth every penny
My (curling iron/2nd degree) burn was about 3 weeks old when I started using this topical And in just a few days there was noticeable healing. And over a week later, I can’t see the burn in my photos. It’s looking great! In the mirror I see pinkness and I do get the occasional itch and flakiness but I don’t mind that at all for the results I’ve gotten thus far.

Quick to dry
It works great so far. I had a surgery in my knee. My stitches were internal, but there was a scar on the side of my knee. I start using it after six weeks and still using it. It works a great it doesn’t stain. It doesn’t stick to the clothes and it is quick to dry and last long. I start to see some improvement on my scar, but I think it will take longer to see a full results.

Good product.
Good product. Exactly as I thought. I used it, but I think the massaging of the scar is most important. I used it most in the beginning just after the stitches were out and beginning to heal. Using coconut oil helps when massaging either in a circular pattern on the scar OR from one side of the scar to the other. (My OT said anyway.)

Seems a little thin
Feels thinner than the one I get from the dermatologist but it does the same thing. I’ll keep using it on my scar on my collarbone It seems to heal scars much faster and smooths them out.

Magic?
I don’t how but this cream actually works. I had a cyst removal on my face and applied this cream on my scar everyday twice a a day. After 2 months, scar was basically all gone. To the eye I don’t have a scar anymore. This cream = Magic.

Face didn't like this. Adverse Reaction.
I needed this after horrible inflammation on my face to reduce irritation and keep it moisturized as it peeled per my doctor. I was using Scar Away gel and thought this would be even better. I was wrong. This inflamed my skin in 5 hours! I rushed to wash it off and calmed my skin down and reverted back to ScarAway. I think the fact that this has 3 different silicone polymers vs one like in ScarAway was the difference. My fragile and reactive skin did NOT like this product. Perhaps it's okay for others and okay on scars, but I would not recommend this if you have sensitive, reactive skin. I am grateful for the refund that I got from Amazon. I guess it says something when this item is not found pretty much anywhere in USA outside of Amazon but ScarAway is everywhere.

Honestly have no idea if it works, or if its my own natural healing
Ok first thing, this stuff does not dry like it says. The consistency is basically vaseline. It does not dry, it does not absorb. It says sticky and shiny all day. Or rather it would stay all day, if it did not wipe off extremely easily. Even my hair casually brushing against the treated areas wiped it off after an hour, and Im assuming most of us are buying this for the face/neck. Theres no way youre using this at night cuz its coming right off as soon as blankets touch it. Second, if you're using it on a new scar, your own natural healing ability will probably do a good enough job, without the help of this stuff. So I cant say this it worked, since even all of my old scars were so faded that they wouldnt have benefited from this ointment anyway. The only reason Im still using it is because I paid 50 bucks. But with the way the tube is CRACKING after 1 month and a half, I might not get around to using all it it. You ever have a tube crack? I havent. I guess I fell for the whole "Hey its made in Switzerland, so its gotta be legit right?"

Unhappy with product
I paid $33.00 for this medication. The size was shocking. It’s smaller than a sample size tube. With that being said the tube doesn’t seem full at all. Hardly anything comes out when I squeeze the tube.

After breaking my wrist, followed by surgery to place a metal plate and screws to restore use of my hand, my dermatologist suggested I use Strataderm on the three-inch scar on the inside of my wrist. II have used it for approximately a month and can see a remarkable positive change in the scar. In addition, the redness has almost disappeared. My complaint is the size of the tube, which is very small, especially for the almost $30.00 cost. Using it sparngly for a month, the tube is now empty.

Doesn't work
Opened this last night and noticed there was more than 50% air in the container than product itelf. I had to squeeze several times to get some of that air out before any product started to dispense. Used for a couple months now. No significant change if any to my scars.

Amazing scar gel that actually works
I’m really impressed with this scar therapy gel. I had a scar on my leg from a bicycle fall that didn’t improve even after using other creams for almost a year. It Really Works
I have a year-old scar on my wrist and hip after a fall last summer. The scars turned into dark, hyper-pigmented patches of skin that hadn't improved for months. After one tube of Strataderm over two months, I could start seeing serious improvement.
