Divine smell! Helps tame frizz and waves.
I have fine, frizzy, bleached and colored hair with a medium curl. It's like cat fur up there. I'm giving this product 4 stars because when used in damp hair with a light twisting to set curls, it really does prevent a lot of frizzing and weighs down my hair just enough so it stays shaped. I think the semll is DIVINE. :) Like others have noted, there is silicone in this product (like Frizz-Ease), and it is not pure Argan oil. I have used Frizz-Ease in the past, and this is much lighter and leaves my hair feeling natural and soft, unlike FE. This bottle looks small at first, but just a dime sized dab is all you need.

Argan + Silicon: Great for Thermal Styling & A Great Moroccan Oil Substitute
Like many I was first introduced to Argan oil via the Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment. However, this well known brand comes with a pretty hefty price tag, both locally and via the web. I'd been anxious to try other brands of Argan oil and Agadir brand has turned out to be a very nice substitute. Thanks to yellow 11 and added fragrance, the color and smell are very similar to Morrocan Oil and provides a much more affordable price tag. I also prefer Agadir brand over HSI PROFESSIONAL Argan Oil LEAVE IN CONDITIONER flat iron thermal protector, which is the only other cheap brand of Argan oil that I've tried since initially buying Moroccan oil a few years back. My only caveat with any of these cheap brands of Argan oil, is the use of unnatural ingredients such as large, synthetic, silicon polymer molecules, listed as cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, cyclomethicone and also known as Polydimethylsiloxane. Though these ingredients supposedly do not penetrate the skin, they are classified as D4 & D5 toxins which are known endocrine disruptors and may also interfere with human hormone function, which can potentially effect fertility. These toxins are also harmful to aquatic organisms. Unfortunately, these are the primary thickening and quick drying agents that are included in many hair products and cosmetics these days. I primarily purchase products with all natural ingredients, but when it comes to heat styling very long, thick multi-ethnic hair, a little heat resistant silicon every now and again, goes a very long way. Long term use of this product and products with similar ingredients does concern me, which is why its use is limited to special occasions. I also keep on hand 100% organic, raw and non-organic Argan Oil Pura D'or Pure & Organic Argan Oil (1, 2 & 4 fl. oz.), ELMA & SANA® Golden Argan Oil 100% Pure Cold Pressed Virgin Organic Certified By Ecocert -4oz (120ml), Watts Beauty ArganGoldTM 1oz/100% Certified Organic Cold Pressed Argan Nut Oil for Hair & Body - Morocco & Josie Maran Argan Oil 1.7 oz which are more expensive and do not have the nice pretty perfume fragrance that you'll find with the cheaper versions. However, Agadir Argan Oil Treatment, 4-Ounce & 2.25 Ounce will continue being my Morrocan Oil Substitute.

Only buy this product if you have hay for Hair
I bought this to save money on buying the Morrocan Oil which the ingrediants are supposed to be the same but NO.. Every since I started using this stuff my hair is really oily, flat, and has static like crazy, Im not sure what to do other then buy expensive hair care to fix it but then when you dont put it on your hair gets so dry and looks horribly unhealthy. I NEVER have had problems with my hair but my best friend thats a hair stylist introduced me to the Morrocan oil and I loved it, it kept my hair moisturized and silky smooth and no static and my curls would lasts much longer when applying it right out the shower. This product cannot even be considered a cheap generic version of Morrocan Oil it just doesn't cut it. That's how bad it is.. Returned it after having it for 2 weeks (I tried giving it a chance to work).. REFUND PLEASE!!

Wonderful silky feel
I love this oil for my hair and skin! So far, I've tried rubbing a few drops into my hands and applying to the lengths of my hair in sections. The argan oil makes it soft without feeling greasy. I've also moisturized my face with this oil after my nightly cleansing. Again, it moisturizes without feeling greasy. I will definitely buy this oil again! As far as the brand, I'm very happy with it but have not tried others. I really see no reason to as I'm happy with this one.

I recently switched hair stylists and after my first appointment I was AMAZED at how soft my hair was! On my second visit we talked about the products she used and this was it. I knew I had to have it--and I am not a hair product queen like some people. They were selling 4 oz. bottles at the salon for $40 so I went home, found this, and was stoked at the reasonable price. I have oily hair so I pour out a dime sized puddle and only put it on the ends (work it through the ponytail, you know?) and it's great. It keeps my hair super soft after every wash/dry/flat iron. Even if I didn't remember putting it on, I would be able to tell the next day if I had used it or not, THAT's the difference it makes! I have stubborn frizzy arm hairs too (they don't sit flat like most other women) and I've been using it there too with some improvement :)

Nothin' But Love
I don't rave much about a product, but I love this stuff!! It's a light weight oil that absorbs quickly without leaving a residue. It has a fresh nutty smell that isn't strong. I have naturally dry hair and on top of that I color. Within days Agadir Argan has moisturized my hair, especially the ends. What's even better is that my hands are softer. Big plus!

I'd been hearing so much about moroccan oil from different girlfriends, I just had to try it, especially since I have a chronic dry-hair problem. My hair has always been naturally dry and I condition it like crazy and nothing seems to work, so I tried this oil and I love it!!! It's versatile as well, when my hair is clean and dry I put a tiny bit on the ends of my hair and run it through and it makes it SO SOFT and SMOOTH!! It gets rid of frizzies and makes my hair feel smooth and luxurious! Also, I use this oil as a conditioning treatment by putting a LOT of the oil (like a palm-ful) all over my hair BEFORE I wash it and leave it in for about an hour or so to soak into the hair, and THEN I wash it and I really can't believe how much softer my hair feels and looks. I think this product is amazing and it's the best hair product I've EVER purchased as a leave in or conditioning treatment. If you have dry hair, you NEED this product, oil just "sinks" into your hair and moisturizes rather than the way regular conditioner does not "sink in", it mostly sits on top of the hair and doesn't penetrate. THIS feels like it penetrates the hair and improves the overall look and feel of it. Nothing is a "miracle" product and I've tried EVERYTHING, but this stuff is definitely a keeper!! I highly recommend even putting it on at night and sleeping with it in overnight and then washing in the morning. It can really soak in then....good luck!!

I was reccently turned on by this product by my hairdresser. I moved to Arizona after living in Texas and found that my hair frizzed up no matter what product I used. I used all sorts of things and my hair still looked terrible! So when I got my hair cut my hairdresser used Morracan Oil. I decided to look it up on here and found that for a little tiny thing it was going to cost me $48! So I kept searching and searching and found this product. I read the reviews and decided on the 2 oz bottle. It was a great price! I did read a reveiw on here about the "funeral home smell" the oil has but I wasn't too worried about it. When I got it and smelled it I found the scent not too bad at all and not even noticable! It kept my hair looking nice as well and now I always have that "just came from the stylist look", it really smoothes the hair! So this is a great product and I reccomend it to anyone.

I had this product from about 2 months. I wanted to try it for a time to see its effect before writing. It's really a nice oil, it helped my hair a lot. So far so good. Lately my hair has been a mess, very dull with flyaway hair and was suffering from excessive hair loss. I got this product after reading comments here on amazon so I said to give it a try. Actually after 2 months, my hair looks healthier and shiny. Its effect on the flyaway hair and hair loss is not great but not bad, it's better than before. But overall it's a great product, helped me a lot and even my husband noticed the change in my hair. I definitely recommend it but take care not to put too much, few drops are good otherwise your hair might get oily.

When I was running out I looked online for it and was sad to see it had been pulled off the market... or so I thought. I bought the other brand. Although it was good, I still liked the other better. Argan is good for keeping the heat off your hair and keeping it healthy, I always had a problem growing my hair out because it would get so dry at the ends from constant straightening and curling but this stuff kept the heat off and moisturized not only my hair but my scalp as well and it lasts a long time for such a small bottle at such a great price!

I LOVE this stuff. I use this after I finish washing my hair and before I am about to blow dry it. I use about a quarter size amount in the palms of my hands and then I rub my hands together to make the oil nice and warm. Then I rub it all through my hair, which is pretty long, then blow dry. My husband, my sisters, my family all have complimented my hair on random occasions saying how soft it is! Husband is ALWAYS like wow your hair looks amazing! One thing I don't do is wear it in my wet hair to bed. I don't want the oil getting all on my pillows and making my face breakout. This might not bother everyone. I use it at least twice a week on the days I don't take a shower before bed and am still on my first bottle. A little goes a long way!

I used to use another brand of Argan oil (Macadamia Natural Oil {has Argan and Macadamia oil} ) and it worked fine, but I found this other brand that is way better! It's amazing!! It absorbs way better than Macadamia and I just love it! Try them both and see what you like but Agadir I feel is easier to spread in my hair, it's lighter and makes my hair still have movement. I just like it better.

Pretty Good Stuff
I got this stuff because my usual stylist recommended Moroccan Oil products, and a quick internet search told me what the active ingredient is supposed to be. Agadir is much less expensive, and I could order it in a smaller amount, in case I didn't like it. However, I do like it. I was reluctant at first to put anything labeled "oil" on my hair, but this stuff absorbs almost instantly, and doesn't feel greasy. It's the middle of winter, and my curly hair tends to be ultra-dry, but it's been much softer and less frizzy since I started using this. Also, I did wonder how it would work since I wash my hair every few days, and I don't always like to put other product in between washings, but I use a tiny amount when my hair is damp from the shower, even when I haven't washed it, and it works just fine. Again, no greasy feeling, which is great. The scent is the kind that I think is supposed to smell "exotic," whatever that means. It's a bit heavy for my tastes, but it has always faded by the time my hair dries, so if you don't like it, it's not a big deal. All in all, a very nice product.

Nothing great
I am really surprised to read about all the positive reviews for this product. This product has a very strong synthetic fragrance that lingers in your hair after application. I really disliked the smell of the fragrance and this was my biggest complaint. The product was not effective for styling your hair or preventing fizz due to humidity. If you are seeking a great product for anti fizz and styling I would recommend jasons Hi-Shine Styling Gel.

What a great product for your hair. Smells divine. I just love the smell of it. However, you have to be careful as to how much you put on at a time. A dime size amount goes a along way. It works the best when you put it on right after washing your hair and before drying. Also, you can put some on once the hair is dry to tame the fly aways. Doing so should be enough till the next time you wash your hair. Excessive usage at a time might make your hair look greasy, but it will still smell great ;)

I love this oil!
I had purchased this oil and used it on my double processed hair. I was concerned about how heavy it was, and if it would "push" out my color, or darken my highlights. It did not. My beautician was singing the praises of Moroccan Oil, so when I ran out, I bought it. It did not perform as well as this oil. I will be sticking to this oil. It has a pleasant scent, absorbs quickly, and does not leave a residue. It leaves my hair manageable, especially on those humid days of the summer. Very pleased with this product.

The only thing I use!
This is the ONLY oil product I use for my daughter's hair! Her hair is INSANELY difficult to deal with. It is SUPER THICK, SUPER WAVY and SUPER DRY. You can barely get a brush through it...but with this product it glides like silk. We discoverd this product about 3 years ago after having tried virtually EVERY other product out there and nothing works but this. I cant say ENOUGH good about this hair oil!! It is pricey and hard to find but I would never use anything else! Ever.

I have very fine curly hair
I've been using this product for the past 2 years. I have very fine curly hair, that fizz very easily. I was using Frizz Ease, with good results, the only problem was the build up it created on my hair, it took me months to get rid of it, my hair in the front were completely flat, while the back remained curly, so I decided to change, started using Agadir, with great results, no build up, my hair is soft, easy to blow dry, and it smells great. A small bottle lasted me 2 years, so it's convenient too.

I've been using this oil on my long fine hair for years and hope this product is never discontinued. Adds shine without weighing down the hair or making your hair look greasy. I apply it on towel dried hair for better detangling. Apply from hair shaft to ends. Avoid applying directly to the scalp as this WILL make your hair appear greasy. Great for all hair types. A little goes a long way so use sparingly.
