A PLUS for sensitive skin (older women especially)
I am pleasantly surprised by this product. I am 50 yrs young, going through perimenopause and my facial tone has seen better days. Ok so We all know that stress. Environmental elements can affect your physical, mental, emotional health, especially aging women that don't take care of their older skin. You if don't take care of yourself. I have tried pretty much every skin care regimen that a woman can possibly try. As stated above, I am 50 years old. I still have breakouts from time to time. I have broken red capillaries on my face. I have large poors. I have wrinkles. Don't get me started on finding a great foundation. I haven't found that yet but anyways. I ordered this product and I was not for sure about what to expect just by the pure name of it. LOL but I ordered it along with a couple of the other skin care products from the same brand. And I immediately washed my face and used my little shaver to exfoliate and get rid of the fuzzies and applied everything that I bought including this product and my face felt immediately 10 times better, it was almost kind of instant the redness went away. The appearance of my pores was very minimal. My face looked shiny, kinda rejuvenated. It's not oily, it's really slick. It's very viscous, slimy consistency. There is no smell, it's not grainy, it is whitish in color goes on clear rubs right in it takes a minute for it to dry on your face so it's kind of I wanna say tacky, but after it dries on your face, it feels really smooth and it's almost kinda like it tightens your face when it dries, so that was kind of a nice effect. So when it dries on your face and it tightens like it did, I almost felt like it tightened the pores on my face. So that was a good indication that it was kind of smoothing out the appearance of the large pores that I have. Overall, I would suggest buying this despite the weirdness of it. It's good I have extremely sensitive skin. I have T zone area so I'm part dry part oily. I get a bit of psoriasis or eczema behind my ears or whatever and around my nose and my laugh lines are super sensitive to different products, especially Vitamin C products which I will never buy again. But my face gets Super dry and flaky. And this product did not do that at all. No burn effect either. Exceeded my expectations overall. I'm very happy with my purchase and I will leave reviews for the other products that I bought from this brand on the other pages.
I started with the cleanser and was so impressed that I ended up buying almost the entire COSRX line. The Advanced Snail Mucin Gel Cleanser leaves my skin feeling super clean without drying it out or making it feel tight. After seeing how well my skin reacted, I added the toner, snail cream, vitamin C serum, retinol, eye cream, and sunscreen to my routine — and every single product has been amazing. My skin feels smoother, more hydrated, brighter, and healthier overall. The snail mucin products especially give my skin such a soft glow, and the retinol/vitamin C combo has really helped improve texture and dark spots. The sunscreen is lightweight and doesn’t leave a white cast, which I love. Honestly, COSRX completely upgraded my skincare routine. My skin has never looked this good, and now I understand why so many people rave about this brand. Definitely worth every penny!

Amazing moisturizer for glowing skin!
absolutely love this COSRX Snail Mucin moisturizer! It makes my skin feel super soft, smooth, and hydrated without feeling heavy or greasy. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin. After using it for a few days, my skin looked healthier and more glowing. It also works great under makeup. Definitely worth buying, and I will purchase again!

Finally found my holy grail moisturizer
I've tried a lot of moisturizers over the years — drugstore, high-end, K-beauty, you name it — and this one quietly became the one I reach for every single morning. Top 5 if just a bit larger size... The texture is lightweight but actually moisturizing, which sounds simple but is somehow rare. It absorbs fast, and my skin looks noticeably more even and calm since I started using it. No breakouts, no irritation, just... better skin. The consistency is a little gel-like and slightly tacky at first but that fades within a minute. Absolutely worth every penny.

Soft, Hydrated, and Glowing Skin
This moisturizer has become one of my favorite skincare products. It feels lightweight on the skin but provides excellent hydration without being greasy. My skin feels softer, smoother, and looks more radiant after using it consistently. It absorbs quickly and works well both day and night. A little goes a long way, and the jar lasts quite a while. If you're looking for a moisturizer that leaves your skin feeling hydrated and glowing, I highly recommend this one!

My holy Grail Skin barrier repair
I've been struggling with my skin because I was trying a new skin products that damage my skin barrier after fallen by the advertisement of some products that claim could do as such and such to my skin. I had stopped using COSRX snail mucin and I truly regretted it. My skin damage was severe to the point it felt burning whole time, dry, and some flaky patches. No mosturizers or serums can rescue my skin. I even tried to do traditional skin rescue like rice water and clove to ease the inflammation but none of those works. I decided to repurchase COSRX snail mucin 92% face mosturizers and snail 96 mucin power essence and use altogether PM and AM or right after I wash my face/ablation. Miraculously just after 2-3 time using I don't feel burning or dry or feel craky on my skin (disclaimer: I don't put any make up on top of these two COSRXs products, only probiotic sunscreen). Now I feel moist, soft, hydrate and plum by the touch of my skin. I learned my lesson 😊. Absolutely I will keep these products with me as no replaced skin care and hoping the company will preserve the ingredients as is or even make it it better.

The Hype Is Real — Years Later This Still Holds Up
At 52, post-menopausal, with dry mature skin and ongoing discoloration concerns, I’ve tested a lot of skincare over the years — luxury products, K-beauty, growth factors, exosomes, expensive clinical formulas, and every “miracle” moisturizer social media swore would change my life. Very few products stay relevant after years of hype. This one somehow still does. COSRX’s snail line has had a following for years, and honestly I used to wonder if people were overhyping snail mucin. This cream convinced me otherwise. First, texture. If you have never used a snail product before, expect something different. It has that stretchy, bouncy gel-cream texture that initially looks unusual but somehow melts into skin incredibly well. It feels lightweight while still delivering real hydration. On my dry mature skin it gives me that hydrated, healthy glow without heaviness, greasiness, or suffocating my skin. Ingredient-wise, this formula is doing more than riding the snail trend. The star is obviously the 92% Snail Secretion Filtrate, which is what gives this product its cult following. Snail mucin is primarily known for hydration, soothing support, barrier repair, and helping skin recover from irritation and dryness. COSRX specifically formulates this cream with a very high concentration. Beyond that, there are ingredients I actually like seeing in mature-skin formulas: • Betaine for hydration support • Panthenol and Allantoin for soothing and barrier support • Sodium Hyaluronate for additional hydration • Adenosine, which is commonly used in Korean skincare for wrinkle support Nothing here feels aggressive. There are no trendy acids trying to strip your face off. It’s mostly hydration, calming support, and barrier-focused ingredients working together. And that matters because skin that is hydrated and functioning well simply looks better. Now expectations. This is not filler in a jar. It is not going to tighten loose skin, erase deep wrinkles, replace procedures, or dramatically change facial structure overnight. But it absolutely can create the kind of changes people often interpret as “my skin suddenly looks better.” Better hydration. Better bounce. More glow. Less irritation. Smoother-looking texture. Healthier skin overall. Those are not fake improvements. For me, this performs like one of those products where you stop using it and suddenly realize your skin looked better while it was in your routine. Who is this best for? Dry skin, dehydrated skin, compromised barriers, mature skin, anyone overdoing actives, or anyone chasing that healthy K-beauty glow. Who may not love it? Very oily skin types or people expecting dramatic lifting and anti-aging correction from a moisturizer alone. Overall, I absolutely love this cream. Years of hype usually create unrealistic expectations, but this one earns its reputation. It is not a miracle product…but it quietly performs like one. For the price, I understand exactly why people keep repurchasing it years later.

One of the few skincare products I refuse to run out of
I’m 52 and have been using this moisturiser consistently for about a year and a half now, which is probably the most important thing I can say in this review. I’ve tried plenty of skincare products over the years that sounded promising and then quietly disappeared from my routine. This one didn’t. I keep it on auto-ship because I genuinely do not want to run out. I use it morning and night as part of my regular skincare routine, and it has remained one of the few products I’ve continued to repurchase without hesitation. The texture surprised me at first. Because of the snail mucin, I expected something heavy or sticky, but it’s actually lightweight and absorbs well. What keeps me using it is how hydrated my skin looks. It gives my skin that smooth, healthy “glass skin” appearance people talk about without making my face feel greasy. My skin feels softer, looks more moisturised, and overall seems less dull when I’m using it consistently. I also like that it layers well with other skincare products and makeup without pilling. A little goes a long way, so one jar lasts longer than expected, even with twice-daily use. After a year and a half of using this every day, long-term use says more than any first impression review could. When a product earns a permanent place in my routine and an auto-delivery subscription, it’s because it works for me. Easy 5 stars

Hydrating and lightweight moisturizer
This moisturizer absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft without any greasy residue. The snail mucin really helps keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. A little goes a long way and it’s become part of my daily routine. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a gentle, effective moisturizer.

Love this!
This is the second CosRx product u tried around the pandemic bc snail mucin was something I had wanted to try.!8 started with the serum and it dried me out and I didn’t see any benefits. This cream however, I LOVE! It’s great on moisture and I notice a difference for my sensitive skin and it dries quickly! It seems to hydrate in a similar way to the N boost ff gel and I will rotate with whatever is cheaper. Regardless, it’s non greasy and feels good! I also wash / rinse my face during the day being in fitness, physical therapy or even doing yard work in the hot desert so putting on a thicker moisturizer (cetap hil moisturizer- not thick at all really like a cream I use before bed) it doesn’t dry down as fast. This is perfect to use on the go or at the pilates studio until you can get to your next place.

New facial care must
Long lasting, small amount goes a long way. Clear and dries on for skin healing, leaving my skin soft and moisturized but not greasy. Only a slight chemical smell when opening but otherwise no odor.

Just a moisturizer
I have been using this moisturizer in conjunction with the entire COSRX product line, but I have not observed any significant changes in my skin's condition. Despite my hopes for noticeable improvements, the results have been somewhat underwhelming, leaving me uncertain about whether I will repurchase this product once I finish my current supply. The overall experience has not met my expectations, and I find myself contemplating alternative options that may better suit my skincare needs.

I wanted to love this because it’s much less expensive than other options I use. Unfortunately it felt dirty and sticky after applying it, like glue. This gluelike sticky film did not completely absorb, even after it being on all night. It did not go away until I washed it off the next morning.
