HOLY GRAIL.

This moisturizer has been the best thing I have used on my face for a long long time. I have purchased this product 5 times, now on my 6th. I feel like I know this product like the back of my hand now. First let me start by saying that if you have DRY or COMBO skin, steer clear of this moisturizer. It is not for you, then you will be complaining in the comments that it didn't do for you what you wanted or were in search of. This is NOT a moisturizer for Dry or Combo skin. This is specifically and more effective on oily skin. This is the only moisturizer that has a similar consistency to the Tatcha water moisturizer but it doesn't melt away as you rub it on your skin and for that I like it. I have tried other Korean moisturizers and have always came back to this one because it is Oil free. It has never broken me out and it has been a staple in my skin care routine. It will keep your skin moisturized enough and alive!! As an oily skin type, this was and is everything I needed in a moisturizer and for that it has my loyalty. The smell is hardly there and it fades away as the time passes while its absorbed into the skin. Please give this a try if you are looking for something LIGHTWEIGHT, it is not heavy and basically seamless throughout the day. THIS IS NOT THE MOISTURIZER FOR YOU IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR EXTRA HEAVY HYDRATION. You will need to sand which it or layer it with something else. That's all I wanted to say about this product. It is the best, anyone stating otherwise in the reviews, did not give it a proper chance and if it does not work for you that is okay, but it's a quality moisturizer for the price!! Best bang for your buck.

This is a great moisturizing lotion for combination/oily skin

I purchased this product a little over a year ago so I would have it on hand when I finished my Neutrogena moisturizer which has been discontinued. The first time I used this , I applied the same amount on my face as my previous moisturizer. The Birch Sap smell was very strong and my face was very sticky after application. However, that is because I used way too much--a little goes a long way if you have combination or oily skin. I love the pump because you can dispense a very little bit at a time. I like that this is oil-free and it works well for my combination skin. I also like that the bottle is clear so you can see how much product is in it. Now that I am using less on my face, I barely notice the smell and the sticky feeling is not a problem. The Yuka app rates this moisturizing lotion 100/100 so if you like clean ingredients on your face, this is a very nice product to use.

I was curious, not disappointed.

I decided to give this a try because of the reviews and I was looking for a new moisturizer. I suffer from very oily skin so finding a moisturizer that doesn’t add more oil to my face has been a mission. I can say that I’m not disappointed. My skin wasn’t sensitive to this. It does the job it’s meant to do. I purchased it with their snail mucin product but it wasn’t a great combination for my skin. I’d get very red. After trying them separate I determined it was the snail mucin my skin responded to and not the moisturizer. The only thing I don’t like is the smell. Not sure how I can describe it but I know it’s good that it’s not full of scents because that’s also bad. It’s not sticky or leaves any oily residue. My minus is only the smell, but it could be that my nose is just more sensitive to this scent. So please don’t feel discouraged to purchase if your thinking about it. I will be purchasing this again for future moisturizer needs.

Fades Fast from Stinky to Great

I picked up the COSRX Oil Free Lotion with Birch Sap as a daily moisturizer for my acne-prone skin, and it's been a solid addition to my routine after a couple of weeks. The smell is stinky at first—like a weird herbal thing that hits you when you squeeze it out—but it fades away almost right away, so it's not a dealbreaker. Once it's on, it dries quickly and feels great, super lightweight without greasiness, and it hydrates without breaking me out. I've been using it morning and night, and my skin looks calmer with no new pimples. The pump bottle is handy for just the right amount, and the 3.38 fl. oz lasts a while.

Perfect Lightweight Cream with Gentle Scent and Deep Hydration

I’ve been using this cream for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it works for everyday care. The first thing I noticed is how pleasant the texture feels — it’s smooth, light, and spreads easily without leaving any sticky or heavy residue. The scent is very subtle and gentle, which I really appreciate. It doesn’t overpower you or linger too long, making it perfect for people who prefer mild fragrances or are sensitive to strong smells. One of the biggest advantages of this cream is how well it moisturizes. It absorbs quickly into the skin and provides long-lasting hydration without creating a greasy film or “mask” on the face or hands. I can apply it in the morning and go about my day comfortably, knowing my skin stays soft and nourished. I actually use this cream on my entire body, not just my face or hands, and it performs wonderfully everywhere. It leaves my skin feeling smooth, healthy, and well-cared-for. Overall, this is a product that truly exceeded my expectations, and I’m very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, effective moisturizer with a pleasant but non-intrusive scent.

It’s the product that holds my entire routine together

I don’t write skincare reviews often, but this moisturizer deserves one. For context, I’m 29 years old and have struggled with acne since I was about 13. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve probably tried 20 or more moisturizers. I’ve used everything from prescription acne treatments to high-end skincare, and one thing I’ve always struggled with is finding products that don’t feel heavy, greasy, sticky, or suffocating on my skin. I am an extremely sensory-sensitive skincare user. If I can feel a product sitting on my skin, I won’t enjoy it, and if I don’t enjoy it, I won’t use it consistently. The COSRX Birch Sap Moisturizer is the first moisturizer in years that I genuinely look forward to applying. It melts into my skin, feels lightweight, dries beautifully, and leaves my skin feeling comfortable rather than coated. What’s funny is that I accidentally conducted a little experiment. My daughter and I had a “spa day” with cucumbers on our eyes, and somehow my moisturizer disappeared afterward. For about a week I was without it, and I quickly realized how important it had become. My entire routine started to unravel. I stopped looking forward to my skincare routine, my skin became noticeably drier, and I wasn’t nearly as consistent. When my replacement arrived, I applied it for the first time in a week and literally let out a sigh of relief. That’s when I realized this product isn’t just a moisturizer—it’s the product that holds my entire routine together. The biggest compliment I can give it is this: after trying countless moisturizers over the years, this is the one I actually missed when it was gone. If you have acne-prone skin, hate feeling products on your face, and want something that feels comfortable and effortless, I can’t recommend this enough.

Holy Grail

Holy grail moisturizer! I have dry/combo/sensitive skin. Great for summers because it’s oil free and I use 2-3 pumps under my sunscreen and it leaves me hydrated all day. 3 pumps at night over my toner and serums. Fantastic for winter: 2-3 pumps in a.m. under sunscreen and 3-5 at night for extra moisture due to the dry air. This is great for “sandwiching” before I use retinol every other night. No sensitivity reaction and very soothing and hydrating for my skin. The finish leaves a slight film if I use too much, but it’s not sticky.

Moisturizes well without a greasy glow

This moisturizer does a great job in keeping my skin feeling hydrated and clean for a long time. I have combination skin, so the oil free nature of this moisturizer is great for the parts of my face that are a bit oilier than the rest, but it still works well on the drier parts. It adds a nice glow to your skin that makes it looks healthy but not greasy. So far there's no issues with the mechanics of the bottle and the presentation is quite nice and minimal. A little goes a long way surprisingly and it's really easy to apply and work into the skin. For the price that it costs, you really get your money's worth. I highly recommend it for people who may struggle with breakouts from combination skin.

Perfect Daily Moisturizer – Works Beautifully Under Makeup

This is my second time purchasing the COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion with Birch Sap, and I can confidently say it’s a 5-star product! The texture is light and slightly watery, which makes it incredibly easy to spread on the skin. You only need a small amount for full-face coverage, so the bottle lasts a long time — a little really goes a long way. It absorbs beautifully without leaving any greasy or sticky residue, which is exactly what I look for in a daytime moisturizer. I use it every morning before applying makeup, and it creates the perfect hydrated base without interfering with foundation or other products. It gives my skin a healthy, fresh feel throughout the day. For anyone with combination or oily skin looking for something light yet deeply hydrating, this lotion is a fantastic choice. The birch sap adds a soothing quality, and I’ve had no breakouts or irritation from it. Truly a staple in my skincare routine — gentle, effective, and long-lasting.

My favorite daytime moisturizer

I love this moisturizer. I use it as my daytime moisturizer and it leaves me with a nice glow feeling super hydrated. It smells really good to me as well it's like a really refreshing herbal scent. It's like a hybrid between a gel and a cream moisturizer and it doesn't bother my sensitive skin. I love that it's oil free as that can sometimes clog my pores but I have no problems with this.

Affordable and Good. Not for oily skin.

The coverage is light, so I do t feel I've applied anything in my face, and that's great. However not too suitable for oily skin. Not terrible either, but I get an oily sensation fast.

Perfect for Acne/Oily Skin

Love this face lotion. I have oily, acne prone skin and this helps with both. I have less acne breakout and reduced oil production. I also love the moisturization without the greasy feel and look. Goes well under make up. But since then I have hardly had to wear foundation. I also have super sensitive skin and get hives with most products. The smell is odd but goes away.

What fresh hell?

This is AWFUL! If you are scent sensitive make sure you smell this before you buy it. I have loved every other single thing I have bought from this company, but I can’t tell if the moisturizer is calming to my skin because it gives me an immediate headache; it makes my nervous system feel like hundreds of people are sorting through several floors worth of files looking for a receipt that’s tucked in someone’s pocket. I’m on high alert immediately and my mind is racing looking for how to get away from the smell.

I am very happy with this COSRX facial moisturizer. It has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy or heavy feeling. After using it, my skin feels softer, hydrated, and looks healthier. I love that it provides long-lasting moisture and feels comfortable as part of my daily skincare routine. It also works well under makeup because it does not leave my skin feeling sticky. COSRX is a brand known for its thoughtful skincare formulas, and this moisturizer is a great choice for anyone looking for gentle, effective hydration and a fresh, comfortable feel.

Worth the purchase.

This is very light weight and for the tropics I’ve found that 2 pumps are sufficient for my combination skin. My previous lotion used to leave some parts feeling a bit dry but this one does not. It does feel a bit tacky for a short while but this does not matter to me because I don’t plan to walk around touching my face all day. You also don’t need to pump half a bottle of product to feel it work. My skin feels moisturized and the product actually feels like it’s in your skin and not just on it. We get so much heat here and because you sweat you may forego lotion until you find yourself somewhere cooler or sitting in ac with dry skin. This absorbs quickly and for me it does the job. As simple as that.

Low pump functionality

This product has a gel-like consistency, and doesn't feel oily even after a full day. There's a very light scent but shouldn't cause issues for sensitive individuals. The only con I would mention is the pump, which only releases less than a pea-sized amount of product per pump.
