Hands Down Best Foaming Cleanser on Market
Let me start by saying… this product… Dr. Althea Amino Acid General Bubble Cleanser… is amazing. I love it. Why do I love it and recommend it as much as I do? Easy… I have horrible rosacea that most product cause me terrible flair ups that take months to go away however this Diamond of perfection has not once cause any bad reaction. My skin has never felt so clean and more importantly clear… clear of painful redness, acne and significantly reduced sebaceous filaments. All those are huge green flags for me. Wanna know another? You don’t need much product. They say a full pump or two is recommended … honestly half a pump is more than enough and even a pump will make this last for 2-3 months. I bought 2 bottles about 7 months ago and I still have about 1/2-2/3 remaining of the second bottle and yes I do use this every single day without fail! The scent almost nonexistent and the Foaminess is thick and rich. Love how it pumps out ready to use. For those of you debating on giving this a try over some of the other products out there I have the upmost confidence you will love this product if you give it a chance! Please give this a chance , you won’t be disappointed!!

Soft and gentle
I've been using this foam for a week and so far I like it, no complaints. It's gentle to my dry skin and I can visibly see the difference after I wash my face - it becomes soft, no visible irritations, moisturized and soft. This foam has a nice and subtle smell you can barely sense. Definitely recommend.

Worth the price
Purchased after I saw on a TikTok page. Perfect double cleanser for after an oil cleanse. The smell is very slight if anything, I feel like it’s very effective. A little goes a long way which I love! I haven’t noticed my skin freaking out, which I have very sensitive skin. Overall, I’m very satisfied and can’t wait to keep using!

Dense Foamy Texture and Gentle on the Skin
Dr.Althea Amino Acid Gentle Bubble Cleanser was overall really nice due to the nice foamy consistency and the gentle formula that didn't overly strip my face. With the main selling point of this product being the use of amino acids, I'm not too familiar with the benefits or cons of amino acids in skincare. However, I haven't noticed any sort of irritation. With a light scent of citrus, the foam easily dispenses and spreads on your face with a dense foamy texture. While other dense foams I've tried tend to be hard to rinse off the face, the Dr. Althea foam easily washes off with a few splashes of water. Overall, this product provided a good cleansing to the face without overly stripping the skin barrier. I would prefer that the product include some sort of ceramide to further protect the skin barrier, but I'm overall impressed, considering I have never tried this brand before. With a price of around $16 at the time of review, I think the price is fair since I've been using this product for about 2 months so far.

Gentle but actually cleanse your skin
This cleanser is perfect if you want something gentle but still effective. It uses amino acid-based ingredients, so it doesn’t strip your skin at all. It also has hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and betaine, which leave my skin feeling soft instead of tight. I have combination and sensitive skin, and this works really well for me. I started with the 345 cream and wanted to try more from the brand, and this did not disappoint. My skin feels clean, balanced, and healthy. Definitely recommend for everyday use.

good gentle cleanser
super into this foam cleanser as my morning cleanser. it leaves me feeling clean but not dry or tight. i’m not always a big fan of foam cleansers so i wasn’t expecting much but i’m pretty happy with its performance. i haven’t tried removing a full face of make up so i don’t know if it’s good as part of a 2 step cleanse but it works well for little to no make up. i have some skin sensitivity and it didn’t irritate me. foam cleansers are nice because you only rly need to wet a hand before applying and sometimes being able to skip the step of wetting your face is soooo convenient! recommend if you’re looking for a new cleanser or a better one!

Gentle On Skin, But Says to Avoid Eye Area
This is really gentle on the skin. It foams up nicely. I feel like it cleans my skin well without drying it out at all. I have normal to dry skin with some areas on the drier side, so I always like hydrating products. This really moisturizes well. I don’t even feel like I need to apply moisturizer after, even though I still do. The only bad thing about this product is that it says to avoid the eye area, which is really odd for a facial cleanser. I don’t like having to avoid my eyes when I cleanse my face. So, as much as I like this, I’ll only use this if my face feels extremely dry so I don’t have to worry about my eyes.

Not the best
I bought this for my husband who has cystic acne and it was ok with cleansing, but he noticed he had more using this product that was brought to the surface. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing but he decided not to use it again and return to the other product that had better results for him.

Arrived damaged, works well for oily to normal skin
First of all, like many other reviews, this foam cleaner arrived damaged (see pictures). The plastic container that holds the product is made from a very thin, cheap plastic that makes it get damaged easily in transit. In terms of the effectiveness of the product, the cleanser foams very easily (see my video demonstration). It was gentle on my skin and does not have any perfume added. It cleaned my skin well of any dirt and make up. However, this works best for someone with oily or normal skin (it tends to make dry skin even more dry). I recommend the packaging be improved to mitigate damage during shipping and I think they should be advertised for only two normal skin.

Cleanser I received was all crashed and this didn't happen during delivery because someone taped up the box as shown on pictures so I assumed this is how it was shipped. I really don't think Amazon did this because I've been Amazon prime member for more than 10 years and this never happened. I believe this is how manufacturer shipped to Amazon or to me directly. Box had 2 big brown stains and cleanser bottle had a big dent as well. Bottle wasn't leaking so I have NO idea what this dirty brown spots are! This is something you use on your face and it's just disgusting.

Gentle but avoid eyes
Dr Althea amino acid gentle bubble cleanser has almost no fragrance, dispenses a nice pump of foam cleanser from the convenient pump top bottle, lathers up nicely and gently cleans your face. My face is not overly dry but it is sensitive. I would say this is definitely good for sensitive skin. The downside for me is the caution to avoid the eye area. The writing is so tiny that it is very difficult to read and the majority of it is not in English. I'm glad I thoroughly read the packaging before using the product! I prefer a product that I can use on my entire face without having to avoid my eyes, mouth, a scratch or anything else. It's a nice product but I'm not sure I'll use it all that often because of this.

Excellent second cleanser of the double cleansing method
First, I love Dr. Athea skincare products. The formulations with powerful ingredients treat the skin gently while maintaining a youthful, clear, clean and radiant complexion. I purchased the 345 Relief Cream and the 345 Facial Mist. I fell in love from the first application. I decided to try this cleansing oil and I purchased the Gentle Foaming Amino Acid Cleanser for the double cleansing method. I am absolutely pleased with these products. It removes all of my makeup, sunscreen and mascara with stinging my eyes. It also does not leave a residue like some cleansing oil products do. It pairs perfectly with the second step of the double cleansing method followed by the facial mist and moisturizer. Better than expected
I was impressed by the ingredient list for this product. Most face washes are so basic even though they clean well enough. This one makes me feel good to use. The wash comes out in a foam and cleanses well without stripping my skin. It removes makeup well, but waterproof makeup will need something else beforehand (like a balm or oil). A little goes a long way.

My favorite cleanser
