Im so in love with this product. It’s very matte. It doesn’t run. It feels refreshing immediately after applying. It’s totally light. It is an amazing product and I highly recommend it.
I ordered this in Cream. I am a true neutral with fair skin. That is supposed to be exactly what this shade is suited for and the color Cream on the match chart on their website looks exactly like my skin's shade. However, upon first application I was yellow. Even if it is caused by oxidation, the color was far darker when applied to my brush than my skin. It is my belief that this perhaps oxidized inside the bottle. Which means that the product itself is old stock. Perhaps by a year, give or take. When I patch tested this on my hand the night before applying it to my face, it was almost invisible - a perfect match. My hands are naturally a few shades darker than the rest of my body and my face. I suspect I might get a better color match if I order from the INIKA website, as the product will be assumedly newer. However, they don't offer a return policy unless you order from their Australian site, which is more expensive than their US site and Amazon by $15, currently. They also don't offer free shipping on orders under $75 vs $50 for their US site and free for Amazon Prime. The refund period is also much shorter at 14 days upon receipt and processes far longer than Amazon Prime, taking several weeks once they RECEIVE your return, so maybe a month before you see your money back. I emailed them asking if I might get a better shade match by ordering from their site instead of Amazon but I'm skeptical as to whether I'll get the truth. No business wants to admit they are getting rid of old stock for the same price as new stock, right? I might have to pay the extra money and wait for a longer refund period just to try the product on their AU site and see if there is a difference. Regardless, be wary of the color match and I don't suggest ordering it unless you have the time for your funds to be held up by returning it. I hope this review helped someone! If I do order from the AU site and find there is a shade difference, I will update this post to reflect that. P.S. I'm not saying the foundation is expired, I am skeptical that it would be, just that it may have sat in the bottle for a long time leading to a change in color. Makeup can oxidize inside a bottle regardless of brand. This would mean even the one ordered from their website, if new, would change color before expiring unless they changed their packaging or manufacturing techniques. Effectively, you'd be getting less potential use out of it than what the expiration date offered. Hope that cleared things up!
This foundation is amazing! I have searched for years for a foundation that didn't actually end up making my pores look bigger and this is it. It has great coverage but doesn't make me look like I am wearing make up. Best of all it is cruelty free and organic.

I have dry skin and found this to be a little tacky with a matte finish. It claims to provide intense moisture, but I highly disagree. It does provide a medium to full coverage and didn’t irritate my skin/eyes. The scent is a strong herbal scent that dissipates when the product dries. That could be a negative for some. Overall, I think it’s a pretty good foundation that is best suited for oily skin types.
Someone I met casually had an amazing glow about her. I was a bit hesitant and embarrassed to ask a virtual stranger what product she used on her face, but I just had to know! She was quite flattered that I asked and told me about this foundation - she said she absolutely loved it. Now that I have purchased it and used it, I can say that it is the best foundation I've ever used. And I've tried many brands including NARS, Giorgio Armani and IT Cosmetics. I love that this foundation goes on light and dries quickly - no smudging or tacky feeling. It also has a bit of a sheen to it, which provides a healthy, dewy look. The texture may not be for everybody, but for my personal preference, it is a winner.
Great quality. Perfect skin color match for me in tan! Pricey but worth it. Light smell but not stinky. No breakouts. Great coverage. ONLY CON, it’s gets oily! By the end of the day my face looks so oily. I’m looking for a powder to match to try to solve that problem. I don’t like looking greasy

I have dry skin, so I wished it would have gone on a little more smoothly. I like foundations that are a little bit more moisturizing. It's hard to find more natural, organic brands that don't turn out pasty. Use with moisturizer.
The coverage is buildable but no matter the tool you use to apply, it is not good. Color matches okay, it does oxidize more than most products, I’m attributing that to the more natural ingredients. Hope they fix the formula in the future
I wanted this make up to work. Love the ingredients. But for me, it was not good. It would not go on smooth and clumped onto itself. My face was clean and I used a primer prior to application. I also used a new clean sponge. It was extremely yellow tinged too. I wasn't worried as much about color as I did coverage and application. Disappointed. Onto another brand!
It smells really good and like plants I like it and it’s a thick moose like consistency I researched the ingredients it was pretty good the coverage is also good I’ll post pics so you can see the coverage I would give this a good rating for an organic makeup I do think this could be suitable for all skin types it doesn’t seem to oily and it also isn’t a drying type of makup either and it seems to be a build able coverage as well my skin also felt better after removing it!
I researched a safe cosmetic base to purchase, on Yuka. This was listed as excellent, so I ordered it. I’m glad there was a coupon because it was still WAY more than I’ve ever paid. But……. I’ve never had a base that became one with my skin. I was thinking it was a nice clear color because it matched my skin tone, but it actually has a beige tint. There is no chalky finish AND it doesn’t gather in my ummm….wrinkles nope, in my smile lines. Yup, that’s it, my smile lines. Well, those smile lines are getting bigger because this base makes me smile big. It just looks so natural and evens out my face. The most interesting observation I can make is that i apply it in upsweeping motions from the backs of my hands. The backs of my hands don’t look like a different color when I’m done.
Product itself seems Great! Ordered Product on May 2nd. And JUST rec'vd it Today. VERY Disapointed!! :( :( :(
This foundation has greatly improved my skin. Clean ingredients and awesome coverage. Lightweight on my skin so I can wear it each day.
ALL the INIKA products are amazing!!! Lightweight, long wear, great for the skin! The skin care and makeup has really minimized my pores, which have gotten a little bigger as I’ve aged. Just feels wonderful on the skin. Highly recommend. A little pricey, but a little goes a real long way!
I’ve been using this organic liquid foundation for a couple weeks now and it’s the best organic liquid foundation I’ve used. It covers nicely and doesn’t clog my pores. I highly, highly recommend.
It’s irritating to my eyes and doesn’t go on smooth.
For reference, I am in my early 30s, dry skin with acne scars. I’ve been using the IT Cosmetics CC Cream and it is perfect for me, but I was looking for something to swap it with that has clean ingredients. Unfortunately, this foundation is not for me! My main complaint is the coverage is definitely LIGHT. I had to apply a lot of the product to get barely there, minimal coverage. If you are someone with good skin (no acne scars or major redness), then this might work for you, otherwise it isn’t going to do anything. To note: there is a strong scent to it, not bad, but it’s there and noticeable (sort of like an herbal scent). I’ll give it a star for the formula, as it has clean ingredients and it felt good on my dry skin. It doesn’t feel like you have anything heavy on your skin (hence the lack of coverage I suppose) and it didn’t cling to dry spots or wrinkles. In summary: I’d recommend the product if you don’t need much coverage, otherwise it’s a “no” for me.
Product was definitely expired or old. Odd smell and wired consistency. Started return but not able to get refund. Not worth it. Waste of money.

The sheer finish of this is amazing, however, I am not sure if this is the original Inika product which I have been using for a while as it made me break out terribly. Really be cautious of this one.
This is my third purchase of this foundation. The first two were great. This time I can barely get in product out and it seems to be a different consistency, almost watered down with very little coverage. I can’t help but wonder if I got a return.
I dont like consistency and how sticky it makes my face. It seals the face with its heavines making me uncomfortable especially on hot days, when you sweat a lot.
