Unique texture
This INIKA Organic Overnight Repair Treatment face creme has a rather unique texture.. It is slight gooey but does absorb into the skin after some massaging. It leaves skin very soft and healthy, and feeling nurtured after a few use. I what I love the most about this is the all natural ingredients! What was disappointing is that a little bit of the cream has leaked and dried around the lid. The jar isn't very full amking making this product rather expense for the little amount. Product of Australia.

Lightweight overnight treatment
The first thing I noticed about this overnight repair treatment was the texture of the cream. I had expected it to be very thick, but it is actually very lightweight and has an almost liquid texture with great coverage that spreads easily on the skin. This treatment contains bakuchiol, hyaluronic acid, rose of Jericho, and Vitamin E which all combine to provide an amazing overnight treatment that deeply hydrates, smooths wrinkles, and nourishes the skin. Using bakuchiol as a gentler alternative to retinol makes this treatment suitable for all skin types, even those with sensitive skin. I have been applying this treatment as the last step in my skincare routine and when I wake up my skin feels soft and hydrated and look smooth and firm.

Doesn't absorb well for me and makes my skin feel tight, but non-irritating, no perfumes
This product does seem to at least effective somewhat as a repair cream. The problem is that I just don't like using it. It doesn't absorb into my skin at all and I have to rub it in to get it to absorb and then it makes my skin feel tight. I don't like that tight feeling. They do give you a generous amount and the form is easy to use. It's just cream in a jar. It's not particularly thick and it doesn't feel like it would be hard to smooth on your skin but it is hard for me to get it on with the right coverage for my skin. I find that using a serum under it helps. I noticed too that this has a bit of a mattifying look on my skin. It does not seem to have any added fragrance although I can smell it a little bit and it smells a little bit medicinal. It's very faint and not something I notice unless I'm trying to notice it with my nose right down at the cream. When I put it on I don't notice the smell. It came well sealed. It is a product of Australia. It says it is 73% organic and animal test-free which I do like. It might work better for other people than me? I just have to rub it too much to get it to absorb being for me to like it, and I don't like how it makes my skin feel tight.

Feels sticky
I ordered the INIKA Organic Overnight Repair Treatment. I've used my fair share of overnight skincare and this one is interesting. I wish this came with a spatula (I really don't like dipping my finger into a jar because it feels unhygienic.) The texture of the cream is so interesting. It reminds me of the mucin cream that I have (in terms of viscosity) but with a more intense stickiness. When I tried to rub this into my skin, it didn't soak in. It took quite a while to get this worked into my skin (and it really fought it) but I find that patting it in my skin helps. Once I do get it to soak in, it leaves my skin feeling sticky (though once it dries, it's not sticky to the touch.) It has that tight feeling, similar to a clay or mud mask, and I don't love the feeling. The scent is something - I can't quite pinpoint what the smell is. It's not awful, but also not my first choice. Overall, this isn't my favorite overnight cream (I'll stick to mucin.)

I love this NIKA Organic Overnight Repair Treatment! I was expecting it to have a thicker consistency, more like a night cream, but it is looser - more like a lotion or snail mucin. I use this as the last step of my skin care routine in the evening, after my moisturizer and night cream. This treatment has a fresh, herbal scent - no added fragrance, but rather the natural aromatherapy of the herbal ingredients. It is light, and not at all overwhelming, and dissipates quickly after application. My skin feels fresher and looks brighter and soft in the morning after using this product, and I am happy with the results. IT you are looking for a splurge-worthy treatment, this is the one! INIKA products never disappoint!

Excellent product
Despite being marketed as a repair treatment, the texture is surprisingly light. It spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and leaves no greasy or sticky residue. Perimenopause brings both aging skin and acne, and most of the time the skincare for one of those two makes the other worse. Not the case with the treatment. The ingredient combination is well thought out. Bakuchiol does the heavy lifting as a gentler retinol alternative, making it suitable for sensitive skin without the irritation traditional retinol can cause. Paired with hyaluronic acid and rose of Jericho for hydration, skin feels noticeably softer and more plump by morning. The scent is natural and subtle, nothing overpowering. The price point is at the premium end, but the formula is clean, organic and genuinely effective and the company is strongly eco conscious. A solid option for anyone wanting an overnight treatment.

Love this cream!
I cannot say enough good things about Inika beauty products. The same is true about this overnight repair cream! I especially love that they use clean ingredients and alternatives. Upon receiving the item, I thought the packaging was high quality and luxurious. The cream itself seems to have a faint smell, like natural fragrance (maybe slightly similar to lemon). After application, it made my face feel tighter, but not uncomfortable at all. I woke up to a smoother/brighter face and noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin. I also have sensitive/acne prone skin and am always slightly nervous to try a new product, but had no issues with this cream. I will definitely continue to use this weekly for skin repair and anti-aging benefits!

Not hydrating
This has a really medicinal smell to it. Even though I only used a little bit, it goes on quite white on my face and I have to rub a while before the white becomes sheer. This claims to be a hydrating overnight treatment, but it actually made my skin super tight and not hydrating at all. It leaves a tacky feeling once it initially dries, but after five minutes that tacky feeling goes away. I would not recommend this for dry skin because it will dry your skin out more. If you like that tight feeling, then this is for you.
