Not worth it
I got this alongside the body version. I tried the face drops first as my body was tanner than my face coming out of summer. I do like that you can mix these in with your moisturizer, as it makes application super easy. Unfortunately, these tanning drops gave my face an orange-toned tan rather than a bronze-toned tan. It wasn’t anything that I couldn’t deal with but not exactly what I wanted. Even after using multiple drops, the color payoff was also very light and due to the drops being clear, you never really know if you’ve missed a spot. I still have yet to try the body tanning oil as I’m scared it will also have an orange undertone. I ventured out and bought a different self tanner that can be used for face and body and love it! I got the Skinerals California Sunless Bronzer and it gives a super nice natural tan and is easy to apply with a tanning mitt. I also like that it has a bronze tint so I can see where I’m applying it vs the James Read products which are clear. Overall, don’t really think it’s worth the money & wish I would’ve passed on this one

Luv that I can mix it w my moisturizer. It is not meant to be applied solo you must mix it w a moisturizer. It left my face glowy and moisturized. It didn’t settle into my pores either. Overall a great product

No breakouts!
Good solid product. I use nightly with my Caudalie moisturizer. I have never had any streaking even when I use over different creams/treatments. I have VERY sensitive skin and will break out with many products, however this product somehow makes my skin look clearer and soothes any skin issues I may have (like a pimple!) I recommend!

Best for light skin
Was gentle and didn’t wipe off, but tan was so light that it was hardly noticeable after a week of using it every day. Has the typical fake tanner aftersmell. Easy to use and blends well with moisturizer.

Really works!
Love this product! Just add 1-3 drops with moisturizer to get a nice glow. I like waking up and not having a pale face, especially because I stay out of the sun. The product goes a long way and lasts too. It does not turn my skin orange like another customer reported.

I love the way that this product is “buildable”. If you want a little color, add 2 drops to your moisturizer. If it’s summer and you want a deeper color, add 4 drops. I love the ease of use! It’s versatile and looks natural!!!

Best face tanner I have found.
I mix a few drops of this with coconut oil and apply under my facemake up. It' provided a nice glow and gradually tans. It doesn't transfer on to collars, clothing. I thought a bit pricey at first, but I have used every day for a month and the bottle is only 1/4 gone. so a good value in my opinion, esp since coconut oil is inexpensive to use as a moisturizer. Glad a Youtuber recommend this! (Note: It is not an SPF product, make sure your makeup has SPF in it if you are going to be in the sun.) I also got the body version.

favorite face tanner
These drops are great for skin prone to blackheads compared to any other product I’ve tried. No breakouts from this product, and doesn’t have a strong smell. Color is natural looking in my opinion
