Hard pass
Hard pass- having used other K18 products, I expected more from this brand. This shampoo is touted to removed hair water effects from your hair and neutralize brassy tones. While the foam texture is nice, that is where it stops. The shampoo smells- like old lady floral perfume and chemicals. My hair literally felt like straw- completely stripped of moisture. It is essentially a hard core chelating shampoo- honestly, I think Dawn dish soap would do the same thing. If you tone or color your hair, expect that some color will be removed. It did nothing to defeat or tone my brassiness- at all. I left it on for 5 minutes. Then I had to do a deep conditioning mask so I could even comb my straight, fine hair. It is non-staining, so I guess this is good. There are so many other purple hair products out there that smell better, are less expensive, and do a better job. I would skip this one.

Best purple shampoo
I noticed an immediate change to my blonde, no brassines on the first use! This shampoo is a game changer and I really stopped going to the salon as much. The best purple shampoo I have tried! Note that you do need conditioner after using (I have fine, straight hair)

I have blonde thick medium length hair and bought this product when there was hardly any reviews. I thought it would be a great addition to my k18 molecular hair repair leave in system right now. I have been using this k18 triple bright purple shampoo then I rinse it with no conditioner and use the k18 molecular leave in after my shower. I had to use a lot of it to try to get it to a good lather all through my thick medium length hair. I also ended up over toning my blonde hair to a grey because I left it on for too long. So I had to use my k18 pre peptide detox to counteract that unfortunately and will not leave it on for too long in the future using it. However the foamy mousse consistency is a nice purple color and would be great for those with thinner hair than mine but otherwise it would be a waste of money. Also be very cautious to not leave it in the hair for too long and follow the instructions on the back if your hair is very porous from damaged bleached blonde hair like mine. But I do recommend it as is very effective at toning and good for the situation I have with my k18 molecular hair mask. Overall though if you stop the 2 step k18 leave in process I would choose a cheaper option of other great purple shampoos out there if you end up having to use too much of it for thick hair like mine. It has a nice fragrance though and left my hair condition a lot less drier than other purple shampoos. I just wish there was more product for thick hair like mine so just be cautious and buy for your own situation!

I'm no expert but....
Let me start by saying I know nothing about hair products. I give this five stars purely out of seeing actual results in one use. I have gray blending with highlights. I have been struggling with brassiness since December and to date nothing worked. I randomly came across this and decided to give it a go. I used it in combination with a purple shampoo and conditioner that has done nothing previosly but it isn't too drying,this product and a purple mask. In one use I saw a difference. The yellow was actually gone and the red undertones had softened to a bit more ash. I will definitely keep this in my rotation.

Best product I’ve ever tried, and I’ve tried a lot
This is by far the best product I’ve ever gotten. I have grey died hair and for the longest time no product I got worked, my hair would get brassy and I would have to pay to get it re toned. This product works wonders, it’s removed all of the yellow tones from my hair. The only problem I forsee for anyone else is that when you rinse it makes your hair wirey, and not feel good. But when paired with the k18 leave in mask, it cures all problems. 10/10 now the only products that keep my hair vibrant and soft

What a great shampoo for grays and blondes. I don't end up purple like my grandmother and it removes all the damage from hard water. You only use it once a week, so a little goes a long way. This company gets down to the molecular level, so you are also repairing each strand of hair...it smells great and your hair is so soft. Great value and fabulous product.

The WOW factor for my natural white and my natural dark hair.
I wasn’t too sure about ordering this after reading reviews, but I truly love it! I have naturally very dark brown hair and the sides (by my ears and temple) have grown in totally white, and now the top is growing in white as well. I noticed the hair on top was turning brassy before it turned white, and the hair on the sides near my temples looked a little yellowish at the end, so I wanted to see if I could eliminate some of the yellow and brass and even it out a bit. I was floored at the results. I’ve used violet shampoos before but this was amazing. My white got even brighter and lighter, all the brass and yellow, gone! Not only that but the color of the dark brown in my hair looks so much more even and beautiful. I condition my hair first, then. Shampoo with my regular shampoo, then I put on the triple bright (I have longer than shoulder length hair thats very thick and i only needed one pump) and left it on for 3 minutes and rinsed. My hair feels soft and looks beautiful. For me, I try not to buy hair care thats too expensive, but this is well worth the price. I’m glad I tried it. For my natural white and my natural dark hair, it worked amazingly.

BEST Purple Shampoo EVER!
I've been searching and searching for a purple shampoo for years and this is probably the best purple shampoo I've ever used on my highlighted hair. It's extremely purple and a mousse consistency. I leave it on for 2-3 minutes and then wash it out. My color stays refreshed and amazing!

This K18 Triple Bright is a game-changer! I have been struggling to find the right purple shampoo that doesn't turn my hair purple. My hair always absorbs the extra pigment, but not with this K18! Great for removing brassiness
I shampooed first with my normal shampoo bc I had a lot of styling product and then went in with this on my bleached platinum blonde hair. It is a very convenient foam that spreads easily throughout the hair. Because my hair is so light I only left it on for 2 minutes and it left my color bright and vibrant. I will say though that like other purple shampoos it is drying to the hair. I rinsed it out, towel dried and then applied my k18 leave in mask and it made my hair soft and shiny as it usually does. Overall pleased with this product.

Very drying to your hair.
I have very fine and very thin silver gray hair. K18 made my shiny soft hair like dry straw. I had to use Olaplex bonding and lots of conditioner to get some moisture in my hair again. I used the K18 because I had some yellow oxidation on my top layer of hair. It did help the color but ruined my hair texture and shine. I can not recommend this product.

Works on blonde hair with dye
We dyed part of my daughter’s blonde hair with a turquoise Manic Panic semi permanent without bleaching it first since her hair is pretty light. Since it had yellow to it the turquoise turned a bit green. She still likes it, but now moving forward we are using this shampoo to help combat the brassiness and keep it a bit bluer. Our water is super hard here and even with a water softener it does make her hair brassy. Since there are no sulfates, it works for her hair with minimal fading and helps both the dye and her natural blonde.

I have short white/gray hair and very hard water. I have used other purple shampoos, but I still always got an odd color on the back of my head which my stylist would cut off each month. She got this shampoo for me last month, and it works great! It removes metals and minerals and also prevents minerals in hard water from reattaching. I use it once or twice a week. One pump is always enough. My stylist commented that the color from the water didn’t happen this month. That is the first time in twenty years!

Good product
Has really helped extend the life of my highlights and kept them from becoming brassy between appointments. My color and highlights look salon fresh much longer than it used to. It may seem a little pricey for a small bottle, but it's worth it because it's going to end up paying for itself by decreasing the frequency of my trips to the salon. It also seems to help my processed hair by moisturizing it well and returning that soft feeling to it.
