I have long, gray, curly hair that gets really crazy in the humidity – and it’s humid here most of the year. I did not get this cream to replace my trusty (very strong hold) gel, but rather to use in conjunction with it, and that’s working out nicely. I wash my hair at night and after towel-drying, I use this product from mid-lengths to ends. The consistency is smooth, not too thick, not runny. I don’t use a lot, just enough to get adequate coverage, then I pile my hair up in a clip to sleep. I wake to soft, wonderful-smelling hair that isn’t the least bit frizzy from me tossing & turning in the night. I then apply my regular product. I have tried several Lakme products and so far, this is my favorite.

Tames Wild Hair, Brings Out the Waves
I actually bought this for my daughter, who has Irish-ish curls, but also very dry, frizzy, wild hair that can easily become completely untamed if she doesn't use the right products. We’ve tried a LOT of curl/wave creams over the years... This has a clean, fresh scent and the texture is similar to a lightweight lotion. It spreads through her curls easily without feeling sticky, crunchy, or heavy afterward. It doesn't weigh her hair down either. She does have interesting hair in the way that it's thin, but she has a lot of it, and it's wavy, but also, like, a big frizz ball with *any* humidity. This absolutely helps tame the frizz and define her curls (even more curls than we knew!) so her hair looks softer, healthier, and much less “crazy". Her curls actually have bounce and movement, but they look more intentional, too, not dry and poofy. She appreciates that it doesn’t leave buildup, flake, or make her hair look or feel greasy. It just helps smooth everything out while enhancing her natural curl/wave pattern. A little product goes a long-ish way, depending on how long your hair is. She works it through the bottom to the top, and that application method has worked for her. She does add an argan oil at her crown and saves this cream for the waviest parts of her hair. The bottle is sized well, but that method ensures she's getting a good value, too. Overall, this has been a great product for helping manage dry, frizzy curls and waves without weighing hair down. A definite WIN!

I think this is an effective curl defining cream. It doesn't leave my hair greasy or crunchy which I appreciate and I think it helps with frizz and shine and defining My curls and holding them. It's fine but not my favorite
I have naturally curls but they need some help to keep them from being really fizzy amd lacking proper form. I have a product that I love, but its expensive. I've been looking for something else. I came across this. It arrived with no lid. I am having to find another lid for it. The cream is a bit thicker than what I was using before. I usually mix my other cream with a hair gel to get my curls to hold for a few days. I decided to first try this without the gel. It did help pronounce my curls but it's still a bit frizzy. The pics I included are from my first attempt without the gel. I didn’t like the texture of my hair with this product as much as my previous product. Also the curls didn't hold well till the next day. I started over the next day and used my gel. My hair still doesn't look any better. My curls are fine, and many people would be happy. I'm just happier with my old product.

Good finishing product
We live in a humid area and I’m always looking for something to help my hair especially as it heats up outside. This curl balm gives a really nice light hold without making hair feel crunchy or sticky. It helped define curls and tame frizz while still keeping everything soft and natural-looking, which I liked a lot. Decent
This is pretty decent. This isn't going to give a super strong hold or create a lot of definition but it's nice for a softer look and it doesn't feel overly sticky or crunchy. It has a slightly thinner consistency than I was expecting but that's not a bad thing because it doesn't feel quite as heavy after it's been applied. If you want a strong hold that's going to last all day this might not be the best option but if you prefer something that feels a little more natural and weightless this might be a good product to try.

It's Okay
I want to like this curl balm because I am a huge fan of LAKME products, however, I don't see a crazy difference in my hair. The cream isn't too greasy, which is a plus. It also doesn't leave residue in my hair after use. However, it doesn't hold up well in my hair. It adds some volume, but a few hours later, its almost as if I never used any product. My hair is soft but still gets very frizzy. I think it could be more effective. It smells good and is lightweight, but doesn't style and hold up its shape well in my hair.

Did not enhance, hold, or tame my curls as expected.
I really wanted to love the Lakme Finish Rings Curl Balm, but unfortunately, it fell pretty short of expectations. Texture-wise, the balm is creamy and very tacky, but it smooths onto wet hair perfectly fine and features a faint, pleasant smell. It also washes out completely clean without leaving any stubborn buildup behind. However, the actual performance just wasn't there, as it did not control or enhance my curls at all and even seemed to be a tad bit drying once my hair fully dried. I have naturally curly shoulder length hair, and used it along with the Lakme serum. I applied enough to coat and followed up with my plopping rag for sixty minutes. This alone should have created some nice curls, but the product didn't help hold them at all it seemed. The packaging makes the experience even more frustrating because it comes in a tube with a screw-off cap. This is far more inconvenient than a pump dispenser, where you don't have to worry about keeping track of a cap or trying to twist it back on immediately while mid-styling with product-covered hands. Ultimately, the cost was simply too high for the performance, and it just isn't worth the premium price.

Title: Soft Curls Without the Crunch, But Mind the Price
I've been on the hunt for something that truly understands my naturally curly hair, something that can handle humidity without turning my hair into a frizzy mess by day 2. I wash my hair at night and after towel drying, I apply this balm from mid-lengths to ends. The consistency is really nice. A smooth cream that isn't too thick or runny. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft my curls felt the next morning and there was no sign of that sticky or greasy feeling that some products leave behind. It definitely helps tame frizz and while it won't give you the perfectly flat look of a straightener, it does a good job of defining my waves and adding some shine. My hair still feels natural and thankfully not crunchy at all. While the results are pretty great and the floral aquatic scent is pleasant without being overpowering, the biggest drawback is the price. For the amount you get, it feels quite expensive and I'm not sure I can justify repurchasing it regularly, even though it performs better than some other products I've tried. It does what it promises, but the cost is a real consideration.

dries out my curls
This is more of a hairspray gel type feel to it. it smells great and the cream itself feels good but once it dries, it dries up a little bit stiff. My hairs is long to shoulder length and I thought this would help with the frizz of my curly hair but instead it dries them out and flatten them up. I had used better products out there but even mouse maybe better. I would say that if I am putting my hair up and I need a slick look than this work wonders, the hold is decent and definitely helps with the fly aways. The texture of the product once it dries is non greasy and feels light. But beware of the residue that it leaves. It only comes out with a shower. Otherwise it looks like you have dandruff or like you haven't showers in a week. The product does works in that it does hold. Perhaps application wise may change the outcome that I am looking for so I will give it another go and try to only apply it on the bottom parts of the curls or when I need to refresh them? I was just hoping for a product I can put on right after the shower and when I let it air dry for it to just add volume and anti frizz to my curls. My hair is very thin and fair so not sure if that makes a difference. On the other hand this work great for my son who has very short curly hair. His hair is very thick too. so maybe this is a mans product or works better on thicker, stronger hair.

I have fine, thinning 2A-C curls, and I'm always eager to try new curl creams and balms. My hair is easily weighed down, so I need products that provide definition without sacrificing volume. I was intrigued by the description of this Lakmé K.Finish Rings Curl Balm, and was excited to see how it would mesh with my hair type. The texture of this balm is creamy, with a lovely scent that's light with floral and aquatic notes. I've tried this on damp, scrunched curls that I've air dried and also blown dry. I've also tried it on next day hair after spritzing with a curl refreshing mist. I like it best on next day hair as it gives my curls definition and smooths flyaways. I only apply mid length to the ends of my hair. It didn't leave my hair feeling crunchy or greasy, no matter which way I applied it, and it didn't weigh down my hair. It provides a light hold and seems to reduce frizz without making my fine hair look flat. A little goes a long way, especially for fine hair like mine. I only need a small squeeze from the bottle, about the size of an M&M. Must apply to WET hair.
First trial was on damp, towel dried hair. Product is thick. And it applied to my hair fairly thick. Did not spread very well. It took some frizz out of my curly hair, but the curls were not great. I checked the directions and it say to applied to WET HAIR. Oops! Second trial next day. Combed my hair out after shower and just a quick dab of hair into the towel so it wasn't dripping wet. Applied product. Product applied much better and spread much further. I let air dry. My curls bounced into action. So there you go. Apply to WET HAIR! decent size squeeze bottle. Product is thick but not too thick. Spreads easily on WET hair. Wet curls formed very nicely when scrunching. Let air dry and curls stayed in tact. My hair remained soft all day with curls. My hair did frizz a little by end of day. It smells amazing! Product scent smells like I came from the salon. Very fresh. A little expensive but decent value for the money. You may need additional products to keep that hold.

Solid curl balm, but contains silicones (which could be a negative for some)
I tested Lakmé K.Finish Rings Curl Balm on my fine 2C/3A, frizz-prone curls, which are fully bleached and color-treated, so my hair benefits most from products that provide moisture, definition, and lasting frizz control. The balm has a creamy, silicone-based texture with a pleasant floral salon scent and spreads easily through wet hair, providing plenty of slip during application. Once dry, it formed a noticeable cast that needed to be scrunched out. After breaking the cast with a small amount of oil, my curls felt reasonably soft, but the hold was minimal and my hair felt drier rather than more hydrated. I also noticed little improvement in frizz control or curl definition compared to my usual products, and the results were nearly identical whether I air-dried or diffused, aside from a bit of added shine. Good but maybe not right for my hair
At the time of this review, the price for this K.Finish Rings Curl Flexible Balm is $28.50, which is a fairly reasonable price compared to some LAKMÉ products I've ordered. I prefer to air-dry my hair, and it seems to work fine when used that way. It does a good job of taming my flyaways, but the trade-off is that it leaves my hair feeling coated, like when I use too much hairspray. It also starts to look flaky the next day if I don't wash my hair again, which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Pretty impressed, tamed my Hermione hair without weighing down and no grease
Small bottle if you have long hair The liquid is like a lotion that is white and actually not sticky or weighing down at all I have really long wavy out of control like hermione hair that looks like a lion's mane whenever I wake up The formula felt somewhat waxy. It was like garnier leae in conditioner but not as heavy but with some waxy like substance. Now, it did take down most of my frizz but don't expect it to go down completely like as if you using a styling curler or flat iron, but I can say frizz went down I don't have curly hair, but super wavy and this did help tame it to look better. This is like I'm too lazy to style my hair but I don't want it to look like I have super burnt/dry and damaged hair if I don't do anything. I wasn't sure what to expect because I hate their shampoo from this brand and this is super expensive, but I can say it was pretty decent. I don't think it warrants the high price, but I am pleased.
