Small bottle Thick and not much of a scent Sometimes it lathers well and sometimes not so I don't always feel like its washing my hair This dries out my hair and I need conditioner with this. It's not irritating to my scalp ✅ Pros 💧 For dry scalps ❌ Cons Dries hair out Need conditioner Small bottle 🏁 Overall This brand is super expensive but a lot of their products aren't that great for the price they sell it at. This shampoo is just okay but not something I would repurchase and you still need to buy conditioner with this. Maybe good for scalp but not good for hair.

Like the shampoo and scent
I’ve ordered several hair products from this brand in the past and have been pleased with them. I like this Scalp Relief shampoo and the quality is in keeping with their other products. The shampoo is nice, lathers up well and I really like the scent, that’s probably my favorite thing about it because scent is a biggie for me. There is a lengthy expiration date, as well. I think I like Teknia’s Detox shampoo best of all their products, but this one is also good. The only reason it is not 5 stars for me is because it doesn’t come sealed, wrapped or gripped for leak protection.

Here’s what I like in a shampoo: a delightful scent, a sudsy experience, a clean-feeling scalp, and hair that shines and feels soft. And Lakme’s Teknia Scalp-Care Shampoo delivered! Here are my “shower notes” 🚿 🫧 Teknia’s shampoo is a rich, thick gel that SCRUBS my scalp, but gently! A quarter-sized dollop massaged into my head produces luscious bubbles and suds, which I love to see, feel, and even hear. As recommended, I left the product on my hair for a few minutes before rinsing it away. Even with all of the suds, it washes away, leaving my scalp feeling cool and clean. 🪶 Post-wash, my hair and scalp have felt lighter, cleaner, and even a bit cooler, which I really appreciate at the start of another summer in Florida! 🌞 🪴 From a scent perspective, it’s a “bold clean” with notes of spicy greenery, citrus, and a hint of woodsy. I enjoy its effervescence while showering and the way my hair smells once it is dry. 🪙 My only quibble is that although I find Teknia to be of very, very high-quality, it is a bit of an investment. To extend its use while reaping the benefits, I may continue to use this as a weekly clarifying shampoo. Overall, Teknia’s Scalp-Care relief is a welcome addition to my haircare regimen. It gives me a soothing clean, lots of suds, “gives me some bright eyes” smell, and soft hair. I’d recommend it to my friends, family, and the Amazonverse. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

gentle, light pleasant scent, non/irritating scalp care shampoo!
this lakmé scalp relief soothing shampoo is overall… pretty good! upon trying it out (for reference dry skin, dry hair, hard water, wavy long hair), i put a decent amount in my palms and scrubbed it into my scalp with my fingertips for a few minutes. it definitely had suds and bubbled up a bit which made it easy to spread but i’d say moderate suds and not super duper sudsy. the scent was actually pleasant and not overpowering which i enjoy as someone sensitive to fragrance. i also enjoy that it’s 92% derived natural ingredients because i feel like there’s usually less skin or scalp irritation for me with more natural ingredients in products. as for the performance, i feel like it cleaned my scalp and hair good. to me, it was not stripping but left my hair feeling more in a refreshed neutral state though still clean. it didn’t irritate my scalp as all and with everything being said 4/5. i like the scent, it worked fairly gentle, and though the cost is a bit high it’s a well made shampoo and didn’t cause any adverse reactions for my sensitive skin/scalp.

Soothing relief, concentrated formula
This shampoo is concentrated so I found I could use less than I expected to get a good lather. It has a pleasant floral scent, I couldn’t pinpoint which flowers exactly but I enjoyed it. My scalp is sometimes oily which holds onto dry skin accumulation and I found this shampoo made my scalp and hair feel very clean without stripping it or irritating my scalp. I think this is a great “regular shampoo” to use to get a good clean without going overboard. I’m a fan of Lakmé products after trying several of them and I think they are high quality and worth the price. I’d love if they put out a conditioner to match this line!

Smooth, freshly scented, sulfate free shampoo
We really like Lakme products, they are definitely salon quality, as is this one. One of the first things we look for is ingredients that work well with our dry and sensitive scalps, sulfate free is one of them, which this is. It's very gentle on the scalp, it hydrated the scalp/hair and did not dry it out or irritate it. It has a nice light earthy citrus tone, and you can definitely smell the sandalwood which is also one of our favorite scents. Rinses out easily and leaves a nice soft, clean hair feeling with a faint scent. I'd say it's a good daily shampoo, but while you don't have to really use much, it's pretty pricey for a daily scalp relief shampoo. But if it fits your budget and you are looking for salon type quality shampoo, it's a good option.

Gentle Shampoo That Helped My Dry Scalp
I'm post-menopausal and my skin has generally become much drier over time. Even my scalp has started feeling dry and itchy, which leaves me feeling a little self-conscious. I've tried a few Lakmé products and have been really happy with both the quality and the results, so when I spotted this "Teknia Scalp Care Relief Soothing Shampoo, Dry Scalp Shampoo," I wanted to try it to see if it could help with my scalp dryness. When the shampoo arrived, I couldn't find a manufacturing or expiration date. It was labeled as being made in Spain. The bottle has a flip-top lid. I'm fragrance sensitive and was a little nervous because the ingredient list includes "fragrance" fairly high on the list. "Fragrance" is always a wildcard for me because it doesn't provide much information about the scent profile. I definitely detect orange, jasmine, and a woody base note. To me, the fragrance smells fresh and nicely balanced without becoming overly sweet or overpowering. While the scent is close to the upper limit of what I comfortably tolerate, it softens once I'm actually using it in the shower. I have fairly thick waist-length hair with a texture between 1C and 2A. I've been surprised that I only need about a quarter-sized amount of shampoo to wash my hair. It lathers easily and bubbles up quickly. The instructions say to leave the shampoo in your hair for a few minutes before rinsing. I wash my hair at the beginning of my shower and leave the shampoo in while I wash my face and body before rinsing it out. The instructions don't mention following up with conditioner, so the first few times I used it, I skipped conditioner and only used my usual spray-in hair oil afterward. I was surprised that my hair still felt soft and hydrated without becoming dry or tangled. I've been using it for about a week and have been really happy with how it leaves both my hair and scalp feeling. My scalp has definitely been feeling less dry and itchy. At the time of my order, 10.2 fl oz costs $39.38, which places it at a premium price point. If that's comfortably within your budget, I think this is a really nice option for dry scalp care.

Gentle soothing lightweight shampoo
I love love love the scent of this shampoo for starters. It is a spa-like scent that's very calming when you sniff it. When you work the shampoo into your hair, it's very lightweight feeling. It's a very gentle formula without sulfates which makes sense given that it has 92% naturally-derived ingredients. It also has betaine which helps with hydration. I personally prefer a sudsier heavier duty shampoo because I find that if I don't get enough lather, my scalp actually is more irritated so this one isn't really for me but if you're looking for something very very gentle, you will like this shampoo.

Poor value, poor performance
This is a very expensive bottle of shampoo in a very small bottle, which would be fine if it was amazing. It is not. It's thick and smells nice, but it doesn't lather well at all, so I don't feel like it's cleansing. I used it for a week and it's practically gone already because I needed to use so much to get my hair clean. I tried adding more water, less water, everything in the book; no luck with the lather. Furthermore, I saw absolutely no reduction in dryness. It also tangled my hair horribly. I will give this 2 stars because it might work for someone with very short hair, but it was a miserable fail on my thick, shoulder-length natural curls. Poor value, poor performance.

Definitely scalp soothing
I'm enjoying using this scalp care shampoo from Lakmé. My scalp sometimes gets itchy with minor dandruff, and this shampoo has helped a lot with keeping the itches at bay. It lathers nicely and has a very light clean, innocuous scent. It rinses well so my hair feels truly clean. When my scalp is extra irritated (as it was recently after several weeks of travel), I use this shampoo along with the coordinating scalp and hair mask to reset my scalp and soothe the itchy irritation.

Great Scent, Easy on Scalp, Doesn't Weigh Hair Down
Great product! I am happy with this shampoo. The scent is clean, fresh, and natural without being overpowering. It leaves my hair smelling great, but not overly perfumed. Just clean. The shampoo lathers well and rinses out easily. I only need a small amount to get my hair thoroughly clean, so the bottle should last a good bit. During the summer, I spend a lot of time out on our boat and, despite my best intentions, I sometimes end up with a sunburned scalp. When that happens, my scalp can get itchy and irritated. This shampoo helps take the sting and discomfort out of it, although I know I should be better about wearing a hat! I have thin, straight hair, and this shampoo doesn’t weigh it down at all. My hair looks healthy, feels clean, and is easy to manage after using. For me, it’s a soothing, effective shampoo that works well for both my scalp and hair type.

I've been using this shampoo for a few weeks, and it has definitely helped calm my dry, itchy scalp. Promising Results for Dry Scalp Relief
I tried the Lakmé Teknia Scalp Care Relief Soothing Shampoo to help with a dry, irritated scalp. For the longest time, I assumed I had dandruff when in reality my issue was dryness. After using this shampoo about half a dozen times, I've found that it cleanses my hair effectively without leaving my scalp feeling stripped or overly dry. I have fine hair and have been using this shampoo alongside the Hydra Cream Gel Mask on non-shampoo days, as well as the brand's leave-in conditioner spray. Because of that, some of the softness and manageability I've noticed may be due to the combination of products rather than the shampoo alone. The shampoo has a noticeable fragrance that isn't overpowering, but scent preferences are highly personal. I happen to enjoy it. It also lathers surprisingly well for a sulfate-free formula, rinses out easily, and doesn't leave behind any noticeable residue. Most importantly, my scalp felt calmer and less itchy after use. While I think I need more time to fully evaluate the results, I've already seen some improvement with this shampoo that I didn't experience with other products that were also designed to address dry scalp concerns. That early difference has been encouraging. Because this shampoo is specifically formulated for dry, irritated scalps, I'm not sure it would offer the same benefits for someone without those concerns. It's also priced higher than many comparable shampoos. That said, if you're looking for a shampoo designed to soothe a dry scalp, I think it's worth considering. For those without scalp dryness, there may be more cost-effective alternatives that provide similar cleansing performance.

Gentle Shampoo with Natural Ingredients
Lakme Teknia scalp care shampoo is just over 10 ounces of a micellar shampoo. It has no sulfates. The fragrance is strong, with jasmine as the most prominent scent but also including orange and sandalwood. I find that the lather is subtle, and the shampoo is very gentle. This shampoo cleans my hair and scalp well, without any kind of tingle, leaving my hair feeling clean but not stripped. I have thick, curly hair, and I do have to use conditioner after using this shampoo. The price point is a bit high for such a small bottle, but I appreciate the natural ingredients and sensitive scalp care that I get from this shampoo.

Nice salon style shampoo
Shampoo makes hair feel clean and silky. The smell is quite strong and smells like a salon. I'm surprised so many people report they like the smell, because this is probably the biggest negative to me.
