The original was my holy grail, but this is even better.
I decided to pick this up after the original shot up in price exponentially, and I won’t be switching back. While the original is just about perfect, this seems to do an even better job of melting my makeup off and getting rid of impurities. It calms my skin down really nicely, too. Also, I love the green smell. This and the Rice Water Bright foaming cleanser from The Face Shop, is a perfect double-cleansing duo.

So refreshing
I wanted to try something different. I was avid user of Tatcha camomile oil,but I heard good reviews of this oil and decided to give it a chance. I love how it smells it so refreshing and very good make up remover.It does not drying my skin and makes it so soft.Im so glad I got it .

Big improvement in my skin!
I was worried this cleansing oil would be too oily and would make my acne prone skin worse but the opposite occurred. This stuff is very calming and does a deep cleanse on your pores. This facial oil cleanser is really nice!
I previously had purchased a different oil cleanser. I did not like the smell and it seemed to get worse as time went by. This cleanser however smells wonderfully fresh and light, not like the cooking oil in my cupboard. I've only had the chance to use this new product a couple of times and #1 I love about it is it's nice smell. I do have sensitive skin and nose, so far, so good with this cleansing oil. If anything changes, i will update. I would recommend this cleansing oil for sure!

i love this product
The skin on my nose is very prone to blackheads, as i have 4 nose piercings and my hands tend to be touching the area a lot. after trying so many blackhead removal products, i started using this cleansing oil to massage out the gunk from my pores. I follow it up with cerave foaming facial cleanser, and an unscented cerave moisturizer. This combo literally helped my skin so much! I also have super sensitive skin and this product has given me no issues. It also smells amazing!

I love ma:nyo cleansing oil! I have already tried the original and liked it so much when I went to repurchase I noticed this one and thought I would give it a try. I think it's pretty similar and I like that it has milder ingredients for sensitive skin. It does have a smell to it which I think is important to note because I think it can be a turn-off to some people. I'm Korean so I'm used to traditional herb smells but not everyone may like it.

This sensitive/rosacea skin loves it, no double-cleanse needed, wonderful (strong) herby scent
I haven’t tried the other versions, but the green stuff is fantastic. I wear water-resistant sunscreen, but I don’t wear makeup, so I can’t tell you how this does with waterproof mascara. It gets my sunscreen off by itself, though — I don’t need to double cleanse, because this cleansing oil rinses off well. Sometimes I follow this up with an exfoliating toner, and the cotton pad always looks clean, which is not always the case with different cleansing oils I’ve tried. It has a strong scent, and I love it. I hate perfumey-type scents, but this has that tea-tree, lavender, herby medicinal type scent. If you like those, this will probably smell great to you. If not…it’s a very strong scent if it’s a scent you don’t enjoy. There are a million different kinds of sensitive skin, but this does well by my sensitive rosacea skin. As a cleansing oil, it works very well, and the smell makes using it a more enjoyable experience.

In my opinion, there is a cleansing oil that does a better job, not the worst option, but some others do a better job of removing makeup and cleansing pores. I'm still looking for my ideal cleansing oil and this is definitely not it. To remove stubborn Maybelline lipstick, you need to rub and give a little time for the product to dissolve the lipstick. and still a little pigment remains

Spa-like oil cleanser
The pump makes it easy to dispense and I enjoy the herby scent although it might not be for everyone. I prefer this formulation over their citrusy one. I’ll admit I have a $$$ oil clean see that I prefer over this one, but at this price point the manyo product is pretty great.

This oil cleanser easily removes makeup and unclogs pores. It’s nice that it makes my skin feel soft without leaving it dry afterward. The herbal smell is a bit strong for me and sticks around overnight. But overall, I think it's a great product!

Broke out and skin turned very red
I've been using this product for a month and a half now. It does not perform like the yellow one. This one made me break out so bad. I have dry skin. It didn't do anything for me. I would have stayed with the yellow one, but it was sold out when I needed a new one. I thought this one would work for me. It didn't.

Too much fragrance.
I have very oily, acne prone skin. Closed comedones, cystic acne spots, and black heads, I used this how it was recommended and it didn’t help remove the black heads at all. The fragrance is very strong and my face was very red after each use, even when rubbing it in gently. I always emulsified the product, rinsed well, and used my regular foaming cleanser after the fact. My skin usually handles products very well, I don’t have sensitivity to stuff, but my skin did not like this. I tried to use it for 2 weeks nightly with no results(I was mainly trying to remove the blackheads from my nose, chin, and forehead)

Good for the eyes

Not as good as original
I am disappointed this wasn’t as good as many reviews said. The smell is so strong—not necessarily bad, but very strong. It burns my eyes and doesn’t remove my makeup as well as the original yellow bottle version. I wish the original version wasn’t so expensive now! I will not be purchasing this product again.

Gets the job done
I thought this item was okay. I usually don't mind medicinal or herbal smells (this coming from someone who is familiar with Chinese herbs and medicine), but I did NOT enjoy the smell of this. But it did get the job done of removing my makeup and stuff. I would prefer that this emulsified better and rinsed cleaner, but there was a bit more oily residue than my other oil cleanser (DHC is the best). I usually do the double cleanse method so the oily residue is not a big deal, but if you want something that rinses off well, this isn't it. Otherwise, it's not bad for the price.

The job gets done, however, it is on the thicker side (at least from what I am used to). The initial scent is good because it has the herbal smell, HOWEVER, it has an after smell like cooking oil. The canola oil scent is a huge deal breaker. If you enjoy herbal scents, do not get this one.

Green Cleansing Oil
Refreshing scent, decent as a makeup remover, but far too aggressive for sensitive or combination skin. Leaves the skin overly dry rather than deeply cleansed. It might suit very oily skin, but it’s not a balanced or gentle product. Personally, I did not like its effect on the skin.
