Because of the way this is packaged, it is possible to open this item and have the top come off and spill half the contents, thereby making the product worth 50% less than what you paid for it, which was already pricey
Trying to open the cap the whole upper section comes out easily. Product is good but need to fix container issue.
Since there was no review for this product, I'll take the liberty of making a review. I have been shaving with the art of shaving products for a year now and honestly... I was fed up with the quality that should have been present for such pricy stuff. That goes to say that it's not bad stuff, it just doesn't live up to the hype. I received a sample pack for the Muhle aftershave and instantly I saw a difference, the sting of the product isn't intense at all. There is not as alcohol present in this product as most brands which makes the skin feeling soft and rash free. Best money I have ever spent on an aftershave, make the commitment to your face.
Best aftershave that is alcohol free and doesn't irritate your skin. This aftershave lotion has me hooked. I have very sensitive skin and have had issues in the past with ingrown hairs, razor burn, and bumps. Being in the military I shave quite frequently. I rarely every get irritated skin when using this. It has a mild unoffensive odor and feels soothing and cool when applied. I have tried dozens of other aftershave creams and this tops them all.
4stars is a stretch but going high b/c of clean ingredients. Mildly soothing, a little drying, pricey...
Just tried it out today and the thing I like the most is, I don't feel the burning sensation I've felt with nivea sensitive after shave balm. Skin feels nice and smooth. I will be honest though, I can't give the organic merc all of the credit, because I also used the Barberry Coast bay rum shave soap, then the Lucky Tiger after face tonic for the first time today. While I'm sure those other products played their part, this balm left a very good impressive finish. Kinda pricey but it does it's job very well and since it's organic, you don't have to worry about any shady chemicals
Very soothing and easy on sensitive skin after shaving. A small amount is all that is needed.
it really like the texture of this foam after shave it smells very good. not like other after shaves that have a strong smell. this one smells natural and gentle. i haven't had any issue with rash so it seems to be working well. i really love it.
I've been using this for a few weeks now, and it does a good job of calming down the skin on my neck after a close shave. It has an unexpected smell, but nothing offensive--kind of sweet and nutty, and it fades after about an hour. I asked my wife to smell me right after I first used it, and she couldn't detect anything at all, so maybe it's just because it's right under my nose. Still, I'd rather it had no fragrance at all.
