Wonderful product, much smaller than expected
First let me acknowledge that this is my upgrade from the soap that came with my Van Der Hagen® Luxury Shaving Set. That kit was a great start for deciding whether or not I wanted to get into this as upping my shaving game from shaving creams and gels that come from a can. It was good enough to make me decide that this was the path that was worth the added effort. However, I also knew that it wasn't the end all/be all of this... So, I decided to make some improvements by upgrading the individual items from that kit. This soap was one of those things. Pros: Nice and rich lather, which makes my razor glide over my skin and also softens the skin on my face. Also, another nice thing is that unlike those cans of shaving creams and gels... This doesn't gum up and clog up those razors that have enough blades to rival a Swiss army knife. Con: Price vs size. Now, in comparison to the soap that came with my "starter kit"... This is somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 the size of that soap. I feel this is a better soap and I think it's worth the price difference, but only you can decide if it works out to be the same for you.

Lasts forever
I hope Muhle's other products have higher margins because I can't imagine they can sustain a business selling just this. I've had it well over a year using it several times a week most weeks and I'm pretty sure I still have at least two or three months left. The scent and feel and lather seem fine though I'm not the most discerning shaver in that regard. All I know is that I've had another soap waiting in the wings to test for six months and this one just won't give up. I think shaving elves keep replacing it each night with one that's slightly bigger.

Decent, but not a great performer.
Performance: Takes some work to get a lather. Not especially thick, rich or slick. An okay shave, with good after shave feel. I'd say...its decent but nothing special. Scent: Very nice. Masculine but not overly spicy or cologne-like. Probably the strong suit of this soap. Does not linger for more than a few minutes after a shave, though. This soap is good, but will struggle to make it into my shaving soap/cream rotation.

Muhle shave soap is my new favorite
This shave soap has a light pleasant fresh scent. It lathers easily and makes a nice and smooth cream. It washes off easily and leaves my face fresh and clean. I’m using a Simpsons synthetic chubby brush. I would highly recommend this shaving soap. If loooking for recommendations on the best shaving razors and blades, I would recommend Feather for both shaving razors and blades. Everyone has their opinion on what’s best. I have tried several brands of razors, blades, and soaps over the last few years, and this combination is my favorite.

Long Lasting
I would probably prefer a bit stronger scent, but I have nothing bad to say about this soap. I’m still using the first one I bought a year and a half ago. It lathers beautifully and leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. It’s easily going to make it two years. I would have used three or four of the same size Colonel Conk pucks by now. I’ve been shaving with cake soap and DE blades for over 40 years, and haven’t found anything better than this soap.

Shaving Soap Puck 🫧
Has a nice clean citrus sent. The soap puck smells nice before use though I can not smell anything after use. Lathers up and applies well but does dry out quickly. Be sure to keep the lather brush, with soap, handy for a second application, especially when shaving your neck. Would be nice if it had more moisturizing oils as I do not use any aftershave products. Lubricates the razor well but not as good as a shaving cream. Still would recommend for others to try. _

Far too small for the price.
I had no idea how small this item was. It's about a quart the size of a normal bar of soap. Certainly not worth the price. But is will look good in a bowl of decorative soaps.
