Fantastic product

Absolutely horrible

The product arrived promptly. When opened, the paste had separated into a part see through liquid, part cream. I mixed it myself and it smells like a cucumber was stuffed inside a rotten sock. Once used, the result is leaving my hair hard and crispy, much like the old gels of the 1990's. Back to the drawing board Percy.

It clumps and balls up if applying dry

This is not a replacement for their Matte Clay, this stuff doesn’t spread out in your hands like a pomade or a clay should. It pills and clumps unless you wet your hands. The only problem, wetting your hands gives the wet effect which completely negates the point of a matte product. I would give it zero stars if that was an option. Bring back the matte clay

Not Impressed

Not particularly "matt" and not particularly a "paste" either, rather a sort of sticky cream like substance that emulsifies into your hand and leaves fine hair heavy and greasy looking. IF you are looking for a product which provides matt texture and doesn't make your hair look greasy, I would go with got2b matt paste, much cheaper and better!.
