Does what it claims
The scent...oh my heaven. I could bathe in the stuff, it smells so clean, it reminds me of the ocean, but not in a gross fake way and it doesn't bother my allergies. I am allergic to many different scents used in cosmetics and hair products but R+Co products have never bothered me. It makes my hair color last WAY longer than before I started using it. Before this gloss treatment I used to get about 3 shampoos out of my freshly colored hair before it began to fade. Since using it, I'm now able to get about 6 shampoos from fresh color before fading. It definitely adds shine as well. My hair is fairly chemically damaged. I use Olaplex regularly which really helps but isn't a cure, so my hair still looks dull and dry without product in it. This gloss treatment makes my hair shiny for about 2 or 3 shampoos, but after that the shininess wears off. I wish the shine lasted longer, so if I had any criticism for this product, that would be it! I'm not really sure that it's moisturizing, I don't notice a big difference there, but I'm not mad about it, because this stuff is great. I'm an R+Co convert for sure. The only thing prohibitive from using their entire line is the price. Unless you've got a padded budget for hair care products this stuff is not inexpensive. I don't necessarily fault them for the price point due to the obvious high level of quality, amazing scents, clean vegan ingredients and eco friendly packaging, but this lady is working class so the price tag is a little painful.

Great product!

Just okay, can be drying on bleached hair.
Let me mention that I love this product line first of all. I am also a product junkie. I love to try new things. I use it only 1 a week. It's a bit drying on my hair. Then again, my hair is bleached. I don't think it's the right product for me, as I need moisturizing conditioners and masks to maintain hair health regularly. But in all fairness, this may be a good product for others.

Awesome shine and softness!
Reviews sometimes complain about the cost of R+Co products but not about the quality! Their products are awesome and I find that I use so much less of them that they wind up not being more expensive. Speaking of "Expensive" - I tried this as an alternative to a product called "Expensive" that is very hard to get and wound up liking it better. Just use is a few times a month for soft, manageable hair that does shine like a gemstone. Highly recommend...

Dried out hair/scalp; impossible to detangle
This did little for shine and left my fine, heavily highlighted hair impossible to get a wet brush through, even with detangler after (my regular conditioner does a much better job). Hair felt weirdly dried out and scalp dry/itchy. Not at all worth it. Unfortunately, I missed the return window, so it's getting tossed.

A little disappointed
I am not all that impressed with this glossing treatment. I bought this brand because usually R+Co products are great. However, this one didn't do much for me. Maybe it's just my hair type. I'll still finish the bottle because I don't want to waste my money. But, I don't see much of a difference after I use it.

First few times using it, I did it wrong! Used like regular conditioner! Today did it correctly and my hair which is white in hair line and salt and pepper in back, is soft and not fly away like it used to be. I got this product from my daughter for my 73rd birthday so we’ll see in a few weeks

More like an expensive conditioner
Acts more like a basic conditioner for my hair type which is fine and wavy and lightened/colored so a bit damaged. I don’t see any gloss effect after using. It just turns out soft. The longest I had it sitting was ten minutes so it should have had enough time to set in. Disappointed as it’s my first time buying this brand due to its price. But people rave about it. Won’t buy again.
